Okay my friend (well call him -IB-) asked me out in May and i told our friend (well call her -AN-) and she didnt believe me so she asked him if we were and I had forgotten about it until yesterday and i asked her what he said and she said that -IB- said that he did not know that we were and shes like "but he said also that he was messed up today so maybe u r" he is grounded and he has been so whenever he calls me he has to sneak it like when his parents are gone...I start school tomorrow and I dont know how i am going to find out before school starts but i can live with that part i just want to know how i can find out if we are going out or not and i dont know how or what i am going to say to him to find out what or if i should have someone else do it or what i really need help so please help me

Easy peasy. When school starts tomorrow, go up to him and talk to him like normal. Don't back him into a corner. Then you know ask him if you are infact going out. If he says something like, that's up to you, or I'm waiting for your answer, then he wants in which case the ball will be in your hands. But just remain calm above all. Don't pressure to give you an answer right away. Guys hate that, it makes you sound eager, and it puts them in a place that they don't want to be. Good luck, I'm rooting for ya.
