advice
im 16/f. and i live in australia.
i was at the beach yesterday waiting for my bf to finish surfing. we were there for 4 hours and i didnt have any sunscreen on. im absolutely red raw!! ive put on aloe vera as soon as i got home aswell as a number of times since yesterday. i also had a cold shower yesterday. i have to go to school tomorrow looking like this and im praying i dont peel.
does anyone hae any advice? i cant hardly lie down coz it really hurts!! help!

You SHOULD put ice on it and AS MUCH ALOE VERA as possible. You were right to take a cold shower, but you sould always put sunscreen on from now.
Also, if you are NAWT peeling, you can put some concealer on, but if you are, put very LITTLE or none at all because it might look weird. OBAGI [search it on google] has some good products.

Mk, so first of all, start sleeping normally, and if you drink any energy drink such as RedBull- stop. Also, start eating MORE and healthier. You can also put white/light pastel colored eyeliner on the bottom of your eyelids. I need a good hair curler thats relatively cheap (at the most in the 30s) but it still good quality and doesn't damage your hair a lot.

HOW TO ACHIEVE LOOSE, BEAUTIFUL WAVES:
1. This look requires lots of volume. Use a volume enhancing shampoo and conditioner and apply a mousse or spray to towel-dried hair.

Ok, so providers like Abercrombie and a&f are pretty...safe. Just in case you hadn`t noticeed, their clothes look pretty much all the same [and yeah, i do shop there, like 3 times a week] and they do not, for example, provide the color BLACK. For layering, C&C tanks would be really cute. Google THAT. Also, for winter, when winter COMES, look around @ places like Cache, Chanel [REALLY cute coats, i have a few], Diesel, L.A.M.B, etc. If you live in California, there is this VERY chic store in LA called Virgo Boutique. If you have a myspace, look for it [Virgo Boutique]. Also, D&G have MANY edgy styles, so look for that. [btw, sorry i`m going so long] If you don`t really want to blow your budget, go to places like Metropark & Guess by Marciano. They have [almost] the same things, but for a less price. Bebe is also VERY trendy, so look around. Also, MILEY wears clothes from PACSUN. You know, Pacific Sunwear? They have MANY cute things, and they aren`t very expensive. Diesel is also HAWT, so look around for things that are Diesel, or Ralph Lauren. Like I mention before, Virgo Boutique has ALL OF THeSE BRANDS! And for CHEAPER too. Ok, so first off, you have to put yourself in front of "Bob" & NEVER go out with someone because you feel bad for him...! EVER. You will be harming yourself and him as well. Also, think about how you feel about "Frank". If he asked you out would you date him? Then if you think you DO want to date him, go for it. Forget about "Bob" and start working on "Frank". Later, if you realize that you like "Bob", then go for him. All you need to do is think what you want. And when it comes to "Bob", try and see if any of your friends, classmates, etc. are interested in him and start talking about them to him, that way you are both happy.

My friends hardly ever drink, I mean the only time they have is like on holidays and even then it's not much. We're 14/15 years old, and our "parties" usually consist of sitting around in someone's basement. Someone brought up the idea of drinking... I've always been against it, having an alcoholic parent at home, especially at such a young age. I do wish we had more fun though. I'm scared of it but I'm sick of being a goody 2 shoes all the time, but I don't want to take this to the extreme. Help?

My best friend and I have been really close. We used to tell eachother anything and everything. We always stood up for eachother and we always taught eachother new things. Basically we were best best friends. She has a boyfriend which she has been going out with for over a year now. They are really good for eachother. They used to get into fights because she always flirted with other guys (majorly one time she gave 2 guys a shoulder rub for no reason) but he'd always come back and appologize. I always tried to help her with their problems and I hated when she was upset.
But a girl in school made up a rumor about me being a total flirt. I didn't really mind because all the guys were on my side BUT then my best friend (lets call her Nikki) started going along with it. She started agreeing with the girl and tormenting me about it. Months went by and slowly people forgot. Near Christmas time we bought best friend necklaces and I have never taken mine off.
After christmas break however she started the rumor up again. When I confronted Nikki about it she started yelling at me about how I flirt with this one guy (lets call him....James) all the time. I have liked James for months and he is the only guy who has ever really been there for me in almost everything. We fought but made up. The problem is she keeps bringing up the flirting topic all the time.
About 3 weeks ago I started noticing she always seemed mad at me. Her voice was snappy and she barely told me anything. She also made it her duty to try to get James to hate me along with every other guy. I also know she has talked to other girls and gotten many to look down at me. I have asked the guys and they say all I do is talk to them and I barely ever flirt. I have also asked some girls. She alwasy gets angry when im around the guys and especially when im around her boyfriend. Her boyfriend and I are really good friends and he also used to tell me everything about their relationship. He is also one of the only people im close with in half my classes so bottom line I talk to him quite a bit.
Lately she always makes me feel bad and tells me I cant stay away from the guys. The problem there is I have about....5 girl friends and about 20 guy friends. And ALL my girl friends have been staying inside for recess and i love recess so I go out. Also they are on the basketball team and I am not so many times Im forced to be with them. I have tried my best not to do anything that looks like flirting anymore and once publically humialted myself doing so. But everything I do seems to have no effect. She then says I do stuf for attention. Its driving me crazy and lately ive been crying almost everynight because of her.
I dont want to change for her but I feel as if I have to. I would rather have her as a best friend throughout high school then a boyfriend. I care about Nikki soo much. I really dont know what to do anymore. Its really hard for me.
About 4 days ago we sat beside eachother on the bus because we were forced to. The ride was pretty much silent except for two sentences. Ok...so obviously this girl is a brat. A similar situation was portayen upon my friend, Camille, and everyone started blaming her for flirting with ALL THE GUYS. Ok, so first of all, I hopy your name isn`t Camille and your last name doesn`t start with a C. That only works with stupid adults, like teachers. Don`t give this chick power over you like that- just ask her wtf is wrong and why she`s acting like that. If she doesn`t tell you just be all, "Fine. I`m a flirt. WOOOT!!!" And it sounds to me she`s really jelous of you because she probably doesn`t have as many guy friends and wants some. LBR is what i would call her (loser beyon repair) Just disreguard all the crap, even though it may hurt you, be strong and fight back!

Yes, she is a TAD underweight BUT she shouldn`t be TOO worried UNLESS she has already gotten her period- in which case that isn`t healthy. Just make sure she eats a sufficient amount of foods. Also, take a look at you and your family. Are they thin like that too? If they/you are, then don`t worry, it`s just a genetal thing.

hey im 15/f
okay i had a dance yesterday. before thedance we all went to eat with me, my date and other people/ the dinner was really fun. cause i actually got to talk to me date and friends at the same time. and we talked alot. i dont know if i like my date or not but i mean i dont hate him or love him.. Anyways the dinner was fun. then we went to the dance, but the dance was pretty horrible.cause we all didnt do much and we just stood around lol. he just started jokingly grinding on me or just put his hands around me when we just stood.
so sicne we got bored, we decided to go to this girls house named jennifer. it was her , her date, and 5 other people including me and my date. before we went to her house , we all started walking around on the roads and talking. idk. my date randomly put his arm around my friend kelly, but i was like oh well. cause it wasnt like big huggin or anything, and i was like what the heck. then i dont know.. then when i was walking with him and kelly, he moved over to the other side to walk with her.but maybe he didn't mean to do it, and maybe i was just thinking too much in my head. (sry i might sound like.. annoying and picky and shit. haha)
so thwen we got to jennifers house.. and she and her bf starte making out. and this other girl started making out with hers. me , my date, and my friend were laying on the bed. my date was laying next to kelly. and i was laying by her too. i know its not a big deal... but he started putting her arms around her and iwas just there being all what the hell. later he said that he wanted 2 girls by him so i went to the other side by him. then when i told him to scoot over cause i was falling, he told me to lay on him so i wouldnt fall. then he put his arms around me.
then kelly's mom decided to take me and my date home. kelly was in the car too. i was laying on date then he put his arms on my head. then when i left he hugged me goodbye.
i dontk now. its kind of confusing... but do you think my date liked kelly? or was he just being friendly? cause it was kind of annoying. cause i know him more and my friend just met him,. i dont like him in THAT way, buti ts still annoying when your date just starts to hug your friend randomly. but him being all friendly to hermade me like him more. :D but its still .. yeah all fuzzy in my head.
