Personally, I hate this website. The majority of questions are either horribly worded, incredibly easy to answer on one's own with the use of widely available resources (including, but not limited to, www.google.com), alterations of a very common question, or a combination of the three. I confuse myself sometimes as to why I continue to read random questions, only to be to be driven insane by the utter disregard for the reader of the question. Maybe I just use this website as an outlet for my rage towards the section of teenagers who upset me the most, or possibly it is just ingrained in my psyche to read over poorly spelled questions to fuel my masochistic personality. I might even be staying here to prevent the overtake of this hapless corner of the internet by ignorant and lazy teenage girls that don't know how to say "yes" to someone who asked her out by the use of common sense and correct grammar.
I have, however, found that reading topic specific questions eliminates most of my frustration. Of course, that still doesn't stop me from running into unbelievably ignorant questions such as "does doing squats really make your theighs smaller?" in the INTERNET AND WEB DESIGN topic list.

I`m allowed one big thing for Christmas this year and I chose a digital camera. I would like to know what type of camera would be best ( and at a resonable price ; my dad is gettin a pay cut due to Delta`s Bankruptcy ) My grandparents are buying most of it for me so I am allowed a camera for no more then $400.
I would like it to have:
1) I want it to have a black & white setting
3) i would like it to shoot like 60 sec. videos
What amount of MegaPixels would be appropriate?? *i`mm using this for taking pic`s with me and my friends , i use camera`s frequently so i`m not sure about the MP size* And where can I buy a it more inexpensivley but still a good quality ? What brand do you think is best?

If you want one that takes decent pictures and has respectable mpeg capture, I suggest the Kodak V550. It's just under $400. It's a 5 MP camera, which is plenty for taking casual pictures. I would suggest trying to pick up a new memory card on your own, preferrably 256 Mb or higher, because 640 x 320 pixel video at 30fps (even 320 x 240) will eat up a lot of memory quickly.

well.. i have been on and off with this boys for quite a while. It seems to me that everytime i am keen on him he isnt intersted and everytime i dont like him he wont leave me alone nd is constatnly msging me and ringing me nd telling me that i am the only one he wants to be with. THis goes on for a while nd then i see him at a party we pick up and thne he suddenly become completely uninterested. we are good mates and i feel like after we pick up and he leads me on that things just wont be the same again, and then it happens all over again. it really hurts me everytime this happens and shatters my self esteem. THis boy isnt really that good looking but he acts like he can have any girl whenever he likes and i always seem 2 be the one who falls into his trap. if i had a chance to be with him i would, and he gets it into my head that he wants 2 be with me until just out of the blue one day he says he needs more time nd we should jsut be friends. Also, since every girl is different, the only way you'll be able to find out is by talking to her. It could also be a nervous, freaked out smile that she flashes rather than to walk by, looking at you with a disgusted expression. Or, she could be thinking about a joke she was still laughing at and just happened to smile as she was walking past you. Just so you know, it can mean ANYTHING.

I just wanted to get this off my chest and I wanted to know if it seems as though I'm going through alot for my age...I'm only 13. Here goes.
I did drugs (cocaine, and pills), I was constantly getting in fights, I've been to court 11 times, arrested 3 times, longest was for 7 months, I've been taken away from my family for a little while because I needed "help", I had a boyfriend for three years,then we got into a fight because he was moving, as soon as he left my house after the arguement he got into a fight with these people, got hit in the back of the head and died before I could say sorry about the fight, I never told my parents, they still don't know about it, after that I started to get into cutting, then I tried to kill myself by doing the following : drown myself, hang myself, stab myself in the stomach, from which I now have a scar on my stomach, had to stay in the hospital for that for a couple of months, then got taken away from the family again, then after I got out I tried to shoot myself but accidently left it on that safety thingy and couldn't get the nerve to do it again, I tried to get an ex whom was the boyfriend at rhe time to shoot me and he almost did 'til his mom walked in, I got taken away from the family again after that and was gone for about a year, he got arrested, and then I got heavier into cutting to the point where I would cut everyday even without a reason. That's when I got into the drugs then I got expelled, got sent to rader, my family now does not mention me to friend's, they tell me to my face that I'm an embarrassment, they all tell eachother they love eachother in front of me but have not once said it to me. Then I became bulimic, then anorexic, then after I stopped I found out my mom was over dosing and was bulimic and still is to this day. My brother might die at any moment because he now has heart problems and he's supposed to take medicine to help him but he doesn't take it, my parents are trying to get me sent away to korea or tennessee so I'll be out of their lives but none of my relatives in either places want me with them, I have no clue what's going on in my life anymore, my family insult me constantly, my dad and brother both hit me and I have serious health problems ( I get headaches at a minimum of 4 times a day, I pass out at least once every other week, and i throw up at least twice a week and I have no idea why) and my parents won't take me to the doctor to find out why, they've told me they hate me, and I do not understand myself whatsoever, and my parents told me pretty soon they plan on kicing me out with out a place to go and I'll just have to find out how to take care of myslef, and are trying to get me sent to a "institute" for help. And I was forced into sex because the person threathened me and I don't know if that is considered rape. Am I going through too much for my age?

If I were him, I doubt I would ever listen to it. Just sit down and talk to him about it. Avoiding actual confrontation in this case by making a CD for him probably hurts your case more than it helps.

I'm a 16 year old girl who's been dating this guy I'm fully in love with for around 7 - 8 months. We're both still virgins but we've talked about losing our virginity to each other. Neither one of us has EVER did anything sexually with another person, so I'm pretty sure neither of us have any STDS or AIDS. So far, we've experienced everything but sex with each other. We've considered all the risks & have thought long and hard about this, but mind you, we are prepared and we do have a brain unlike half the teenage population. We both know that we are fully ready to do this in our minds & hearts. But, I have a question. Even though, we aren't married & we're gonna lose our virginity to each other.. and though we've been together for a while & are planning on beging together for a long time after this (possibly even marriage later on, but you never know what may happen).. do you think this is okay? Like sometimes it worrys me because I know in my heart that it's a sin to have sex before marriage, but we've talked about it & with our friends as well, and we all figured out that if you ask God for his forgiveness, he will accept it. I just want opinions on this.. do you think it's okay to have sex at 16 if you're mature & ready enough? I mean, what's the point in waiting until you're married? I know one reason is because it can be a sin and then another is because there's a possibility of having a baby, but if you're sexually "safe" with condoms & birth control, then you're chances are very slim to none for having a child. Girls are silly at this age, and do silly things. Such as date some of the most repulsive guys (nay, boys) you could imagine, and then wind up crying when the relationship goes poorly. Nearly every girl is somehow dumb enough to fall for this same thing, and in many cases, several times.
Don't go searching for a girlfriend now, it's a shitty time to have one anyway. It's worth waiting.

I was wondering what everyones take on college is? I think I'm going to look for an all girls college. Are there many around? Does anyone know of any good ones? If there are boys around I will get distracted and won't do my work. I can wait for a boy, I dont need one when I'm in college. I want to get great grades and do all my work constantly.
Also, do you think this will effect how I view my college experience? Part of the actual experience is dorm life, parties, etc. Do you think I will regret choosing an all girls school when I'm rolling in money because I stuck to my studies? (link)
