Ugghh. I usually like older guys. But omg. There's this freshman! He is absolutely delicious. Hahahha. I'm a JUNIOR. Hello all! I'm actually an Advicentator (Nova) but I figured I'd get your opinions on this. Recently Stephenville Texas was in the news. Folks there claiming to have witnessed a UFO. Well, we went there last week and we are planning a trip next weekend. My question is, what questions would you ask the local townsfolk? I am going with an unbiased opinion on the subject. I'll post what results I've got (if any) on my message board sometime.

Start by talking to him. It would be a little creepy to walk up to a person you've never spoken to and confess your love for him.
You can have your friend hint that you like him, but it would mean more coming from you. Start a friendship with this guy first, and that'll make things a little easier.

we had this huge rock at our school that all the seniors painted with their names

There's this guy who comes to my house everyday. Not for me, he hangs out with my big brother from time to time.
Anyways, he has never spoken to me until I got a message from him on my myspace page. It says, "Hey princess. my name is so and so (not mentionin' his name) I'm this and that (describing himself) I would like to get to know you or call you sometime."

God is whatever you want "it" to be.
God isnt necessarily a man, god could be a woman.
God is whoever you want him to be.
I know, that sounds corny, but nobody has seen God, so how do they know? Some religions might have their own images of what their god looks like, but I think God is whatever you imagine it to be

alright so me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex on nov30 and i was suppose to get my period dec4 and i didnt.. and so i took a pregnancy test on new years day and it came out positive.. and then on jan4 i got my period and i had it for 6 days so i know it was my period and so my boyfriend told me to take another one today and i did and it said negative.. so how is that possible do you think the first one i took was just wrong? or do you think i really was pregnant and it just died? but i dont drink or smoke so i dont know how it would die? im just so confused. help? any advice is great
I think you are an idiot for having unprotected sex.
You should know that the consequences are pregnancy and STDs.
Also, you can get your period in the earliest months of pregnancy, i believe.
You screwed up, you need to go to a doctor or talk to your mom, or another adult you trust.

I found out my mom was snooping into my life about two weeks ago. She had an Xanga of mine bookmarked and in it I wrote as if it were a private diary .. which I thought was on a private setting in fact.
There was a lot of very bad stuff in there and when I realized she was snooping I deleted it and made a new one. Well, she managed to find the new one too! Once again, its bookmarked as well as my Facebook. My diary has since gone missing as well. She has not told me about reading any of this but I know its her because its on her personal laptop.
What should I do?
My privacy is gone and I feel violated by my
own mother. She gets very offended if I don't tell
her everything in my life anymore, which I hate to do because she makes everything too much of a big deal.

Hello, all.
A few years ago I tried contacts, but had a hard time getting them out.
Now, three years later, I feel like I want to try them again, but I feel kinda iffy because this year I've gotten A LOT of compliments on how I look (over the summer I resolved to swallow my shyness and be outgoing so I could show people who I really am instead of hiding it away).
I know if I get contacts, I'm going to look weird, because people aren't used to me without glasses. Also, my crush has seemed to be showing more interest in me (I've been hanging out with him more lately, a rarity this school year because of our busy schedules...I've been so happy!)
I've asked some friends whether or not I should get contacts, and some of them say I look adorable in my glasses. Basically I'm afraid of losing my compliments and possibly my friend's increased interest in me if I get contacts...so any advice would be WONDERFUL!

If you feel comfortable in glasses, there is no need to wear contacts!
You can always get contacts, but wear your glasses when you don't feel like wearing the contacts.

You really should talk to a counselor or a parent, but a friend is at least a start.
Say, "(FRIENDS NAME), I really need your help. I think I have a serious problem." Then explain to her what is going on. She might think you are just doing it for attention, because, no offense, I don't live your life and know all of your personal problems, but it sounds like you might just be doing it for attention. Get help, soon.
