Thief answered Sunday February 24 2008, 10:16 pm: Kinda frustrating when no one asnwers it the right way huh? they just say what he did rather that what he looks like. It's also kinda funny how people would post things up on relegious figures like the woise man you discribed in your question. I think it's really hard to say, after all he is everything, the alpha and omega, hell he could even be the guy next to you or the homless guy you see sometimes. I think maybe he's someone just like us in a way, shapeless yet always watching, and his true form won't be shown until all of us are with him in heaven. God is the creator of the universe, he created everythhing (me, you, mountains, the sun, our brain, everything)
He is not a man, he created man. He is "up there". We can't picture him, because he is God. Our brains don't have that much capability to draw up a pic. He can't be a man, with a face. Its complicated, but this is where belief and faith come in. We don't know what he looks like but we believe in him.
mylordwon answered Thursday January 24 2008, 11:51 pm: Those other answers you got are wrong. There is only one true God and He is the one who created the world and everything in it. His most precious creation is human beings because out of all the things He created, humans are made in His image.
The first people were Adam and Eve. Adam and Eve were perfect in every way until the devil came to Eve in the form of a snake and she listened to the devil and sinned. Since then we are all born with what is called a sinful nature. (Just look at a little child. No one has to teach a child to be naughty. A child acts on his/her sinful nature.)
Anyway, That sin separated them from God. God is so holy and powerful that He can't look at sin, and because He loves us so much, He sent His son Jesus to die for us. Jesus is the sacrifice that paid for the sins of every person. Those who repent of their sins and accept Jesus' sacrifice get to be with Him when their body dies. Those that don't will spend eternity with the devil.
You can know God in a very personal way. He knows and loves you. God says in His bible that He wants to give you hope and a future. I encourage you to read the Holy Bible. The Bible is God's Word. You can learn about Jesus and God in this book. Here is a link to read the bible online: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
What you will see at this link will start with the story of creation. Then if you want to read about Jesus, in the spot that says Genesis, scroll down to John, click go and you will read all about Jesus.

God is whoever you want them to be.

God isnt necessarily a man, god could be a woman.
God is whoever you want him to be.
I know, that sounds corny, but nobody has seen God, so how do they know? Some religions might have their own images of what their god looks like, but I think God is whatever you imagine it to be
hope this helps.
