Q: i have dirty but shiny blonde hair. it's kind of hard to explain, but it's a darker shade of blonde but it gets really light in the summer time. it's also kind of wavy but i want it curly. I have side bangs, but they can be turned into straight blunt bangs if i knew how.
Lately i've been really bored with my hair and make up. I want to know how to get curly/wavy hair that's sleek and smooth and shiny. also, some pin-straight styling tips would be good since i get the flip at the ends when i straighten my hair. I don't really want to go out and buy anything so here's what I have--- straightener, volumizer rollers, curling rollers, and a whole bunch of straightening and volumizing hair products. my latest curling iron broke, so i can't use that.
i love taylor swift's hair and i want something similar but less puffy and supermodel-esque. im in the 7th grade so anything grown up makes me look 17. easy curling and straightening or very cute styles would be greatly appreciated. i really want to do something with my bangs, so any tips on that would be great.
also for my make up, i want something to really bring out the brightness and blue in my blue/green/gray eyes. i've used almay's play up the blue before, and i dont really like it. i love the saying less is more, so the less make up i put on makes me actually look my age instead of older.

Q: Okay so track starts monday and i was wondering if there was anyway to help my breathing. When i run to two full song im out of breath like 3/4ths into it but i can run the whole two songs w/o stopping if I try but my throat really hurts at the end is there anyway to stop this or reduce it? I run two songs non-stop everyday. I dont know why it still does this. thanks:)

Try deeper breaths. When I run, I inhale for three paces and exhale for three paces. You could also try breathing to music with a loud, steady beat. Don't forget to drink plenty of water! And don't get discouraged - if you're not a distance runner, you could still succeed as a sprinter.

Q: I'm doing a project for school which is due soon and this is college, so she canceled all classes for us to work on the project with our partners until it's due, so I won't see her to ask, and we've e-mailed but she hasn't responded yet.
Anyway, part of my project is "writing in the discipline" which is writing in my major.
As an elementary education & special education major, I have to answer a question about the toughest & easiest part of writing in the field.
Well, my partner and I decided that we would explain how tough those calendar things a teacher must turn in every summer and have approved are. However, we can't for the life of us remember what they're called.
No, they are not lesson plans (although somewhat similar)! No, they're not outlines. No, they're not really objectives either; however, they' are a mix of the three...
The teacher gets this HUGE calendar looking thing and has to write, in detail, every last thing he/she is doing that day: what book page, what objective, the lesson, the homework, the homework problems, etc. Every LAST detail to be approved by the superintendent or whomever else.
Does anyone know what those calendars are called.

Q: i'm a sophomore and i'm taking ap chemistry this year. there are a few other sophomores in my class but most are juniors who have already taken regular or honors chemistry so it's a lot easier for them. anyway i'm completely lost already, and it's only been a week of school. i literally sit in class having NO IDEA what is going on. there's all this mole and math buisiness that i've never even heard of, and they expect us to know it. plus all the other sophomores get it a lot more than i do.. after the teacher helps me i get it a little better, but on my own its horrible and i can't see how i could ever pass this class. i don't know if it will get any easier to understand as time goes by but what if it doesn't, i'm sure it'll just get harder. and on top of that this year my school has made it extremely difficult to drop a class, it's this huge long process and they might not even let me. i just feel so overwhelmed and i don't want my whole year to be dreading chemistry and then failing the exam. should i drop the class? any advice from people who have experience with ap chem on whether it will get any easier?
any advice whatsoever.

It sounds like you're having quite a bit of trouble.. AP chem is pretty difficult, it gets the best of us. My advice would be to drop it; if you're struggling now it will only get worse. Try honors this year, and AP next year.

My high school offers courses in photography, and that's how I got into it. You could ask a guidance counselor about electives or extra-curriculars offered at your school: if there aren't any, I'm sure he or she will be able to help you find something within the community.

The "average American" needs 2,000 calories a day, but the amount varies depending on how much exercise you get, how much you weigh, how old you are, etc. The best way to lose weight is to slowly cut down on calories (try drinking more water, chewing more slowly) while exercizing more. If you're considering losing serious weight, your best bet would be to go to your doctor and pick out a diet that's best for you.

Q: I got a new iPod nano video (green) about 2 days ago. I put some songs on here, but I found out so far, that 2 songs don't work. When I try to listen to it on my iPod, it only plays like a little bit of it, then moves on to the next song. (I'm not sure if there's any other songs like this. I put one of the songs on my old iPod, and it worked on there. I also don't convert my songs or anything because i just found out you don't need to do that, it automatically can add it to your iPod ;] So maybe that's the problem?) I've listened to them on my computer before, and they were fine. =\ One of the songs was from a CD I bought so the song is fine... So what's going on? Does anyone know why it's doing this and what I can do to fix it? ;[ Please don't answer this question if you don't really know the answer. It just gives me usless info I don't need, or I already know... Thanks so much!!!

Something similar happened to my sister: She has a first generation nano, and one day it randomly started skipping from one song to the next without ever really playing them. If you hold down the MENU button and the pause button at the same time (the up arrow and the down arrow of the wheel) it should reset the iPod. If not, try shutting it off or letting it charge; if necessary you can plug it into your computer and reset it through iTunes. I wish I could come up with a better, more solid answer, but neither of us really know how her iPod was fixed in the first place. It works now, though, so I wouldn't worry.. Good luck!

Nothing's wrong. Your ears just kinda stick out of your head (most people's do, though from what you say it seems yours stick out more than others). It's just more obvious when you put up your hair because then the shape of your head is exposed, you know? I wouldn't worry about it too much... having ears that stick out is like having a big nose or funny shaped knees, there's nothing you can do about it really. Although wearing your hair down will make it less obvious. Try pulling your hair up in a more relaxed way, as opposed to tightly against your head.

SPOILER WARNING:
I liked it. I found that throughout the series, the major plot points (ie; Jacob is a werewolf, Renesmee would be confused with the immortal children) were somewhat predictable, but Breaking Dawn also threw in some plot twists I hadn't expected. I found it weird though, that Stephenie ended it the way she did: the ending wasn't absolute, she brought up lots of questions.. she could easily write a 5th book. She'd planned all along to write a four-book series, why end with a slight cliff hanger?
On another note: I was definitely a fan of the section from Jacob's point of view. When I first realized she was switching narrators, I got annoyed, but when it switched back I figured out that I liked Jacob's point of view better than Bella's.

If you're talking about actually taking the picture, and not editing in the light streaks, I'm pretty sure it happens at night when you move the camera. The lights blur and the camera takes in all the light, so it looks like a line of light instead of a dot. In the link you posted, it looks like the lights themselves are moving, because the rest of the picture isn't blurred.
