My iPod nano video? =|

Question Posted Saturday August 9 2008, 10:28 pm

I got a new iPod nano video (green) about 2 days ago. I put some songs on here, but I found out so far, that 2 songs don't work. When I try to listen to it on my iPod, it only plays like a little bit of it, then moves on to the next song. (I'm not sure if there's any other songs like this. I put one of the songs on my old iPod, and it worked on there. I also don't convert my songs or anything because i just found out you don't need to do that, it automatically can add it to your iPod ;] So maybe that's the problem?) I've listened to them on my computer before, and they were fine. =\ One of the songs was from a CD I bought so the song is fine... So what's going on? Does anyone know why it's doing this and what I can do to fix it? ;[ Please don't answer this question if you don't really know the answer. It just gives me usless info I don't need, or I already know... Thanks so much!!!

Something similar happened to my sister: She has a first generation nano, and one day it randomly started skipping from one song to the next without ever really playing them. If you hold down the MENU button and the pause button at the same time (the up arrow and the down arrow of the wheel) it should reset the iPod. If not, try shutting it off or letting it charge; if necessary you can plug it into your computer and reset it through iTunes. I wish I could come up with a better, more solid answer, but neither of us really know how her iPod was fixed in the first place. It works now, though, so I wouldn't worry.. Good luck!
