If you want to be bold, and I think you have a nice face for it, get a bob. Cut it so the longest layer is to your chin, and then layer it to make it look choppy. I think you'd look nice with a dark color too, if you're allowed to dye your hair.

Unless he sticks his tongue all the way down your throat (or you push your tongue to your throat) I highly doubt making out can give you a sore throat.

Oh, or if he's sick. But then, if thats the case, you shouldn't be making out anyway.

I am a person that really likes to know "why". When I say and/or say, ask or do some things, other people will find them stupid or dumb. Like today a friend of mine was wearing old sneakers (it was obvious, they were discolored and worn) and I remarked that they looked like they smelled (simply JKing). Another of my friends, who was sitting next to me, stated that that made no sense and things cannot look like they would smell. I was rather surprised at this comment, because that made total sense to me. It may seem petty and umimportant, but this kind of thing happens all the time. My actions and words make complete sense to me, why don't they to others?

It happens to me too. I think faster than I speak though, so when I try to put thoughts into words, I totally mess up and say things that don't make sense, and people tease me for it or don't understand.

It's natural, people hear only what they want to and they don't even try to make sense of something that they don't believe should make sense.

Just ignore it or say something else that makes no sense to combat it. People will be confused and they'll leave you alone.

ok so me and my girlfriend are reaching out 6 month. and i love her. she is my first love. and well i want to get her a promise ring. but do all promise rings mean "i want to be with you forever"? i mean i want to give her a promise ring and make 2 promises
1. that i will do whatever i can to be with her
and 2. that i will wait for marrige for sex (i know that would mean alot to her)

i mean we have said that we want to be together forever and we hope to get married someday
but you never know what can happen so i would like to make those promises insted.
is that okay or do promise rings always have to me "forever"?

Promise rings don't have to mean forever. That is normally what wedding rings symbolize. Think of it this way:

Promise ring: I really do love you and if you love me I want to stay with you as long as these feelings last, if that's forever then I know you're my one.

Engagement ring: I believe I want to spend the rest of my life with you because I love you so much.

Wedding Ring: We will be together forever.

(this is traditionally, with divorce death and remarriage it doesn't count).

But also, a Promise ring is something you give to her and make a promise on. Such as you did, doing all you can and waiting for sex. Don't worry, they don't mean "forever".

My two year long ordeal is over.

It began with a popular white guy liking me. I was unpopular, and black. I know that was the reason he didn't go out with me, because there were several other blond, blue-eyed girls that he went out with before and after our stint.

He was embarrassed to like me.

I thought that eventually, now, two years later, he'd have matured enough to get past that.

Nope. Just yesterday when I got enough courage to talk to him about it (I had been building courage for 2 years), I found out that he said something along the lines of:

"I don't want to talk to Tabia (me), I think it's about homecoming (it wasn't). Besides, there are two girls who want to go to homecoming with me, Susie and Sally (names changed).

Susie is the girl that started rumours about me two years ago and ruined my reputation.

Also, both of these girls are blond haired and blue eyed.

So this is how it ends.


And the sad thing about this is that the guy doesn't even like Susie. I believe that he just submits because she is everything that he SHOULD want. An equally popular, blond, blue-eyed girl that his mother woud love. But he doesn't really like her. Even I know that.

I guess I should just move on then, right?

If this guy likes you, but is afraid people won't like him if he goes out with you, then yes you should move on. He certainly isn't worth it. And if he goes for all the generic types, then he certainly won't stop. Go for someone who likes you who you are and isn't afraid to admit it, regardless of color or race or popularity (all of which are stupid things to base off of).

I'm always afraid people are watching me when I'm alone. And that people can see what I'm thinking.

I know it's irrational but knowing that doesn't make it go away.

Seeing a therapist would probably be a last resort. I have one, but I haven't seen him in a long time and I don't really want to. And I definitely don't want to be on any unnecessary medication. My psychiatrist is way too quick to want to medicate me.

But anyway. . .am I crazy? What can I do?

You may be schizophranic, those two sound like symptoms of it. You may want to get all the resources you can on it and see if you do. Or you could be paranoid. Which is slightly less extreme.

First you should look up the symptoms of these two things and pair them with others you may have. If it doesn't fit, try googling your symptoms and you may find something.

If you find a match, or a few, print or copy the symptoms and show them to a doctor saying, "I have these symptoms, could I be this?" Its good to go to at least two or three doctors though for extra opinion.

This may sound pricey, the extra doctors, but it's most accurate. You can get their ideas together and decide what you want to do.

i'm a guy. 15 years old.

i have never had a girlfriend before. i have asked someone out before but got turned down. im 99% sure its not my looks (i dont look that bad at all), and its not the people i hang out with (i guess you could say i chill with the "cool people" or something) but girls just dont seem to fall for me.

theres this girl i really like in my art class, and we talk to eachother for a few mins almost every day. im pretty shy when it comes to girls so she always starts the convos. there are always theese awkward silences when we're talking that last for like 15 secs. im pretty sure im gonna ask for her number tomorrow at school, but how should i ask her? and if i get her #, how should i ask her out to the movies (like texting or calling)? and when should i ask her (after tomorrow we have a 4 day weekend)?

if she turns me down its going to be really weird and awkward between us since we have the same class together for the rest of the year.

Just tell her you don't want to ruin anything, but you do like her a lot more than a friend. Who knows? She may be hiding her feelings from you because she thinks YOU don't like her that way. If not, just try to stay with her without doing anything.

okay so yesterday igot a brand new haircut and everything. i'm going into highschool so i thought maybe a whole new look would sort of boost my confidence.
i got side swept bangs and a lot of layers..but the thing is when the girl did my hair it looked perfect..and now when i do it..it looks soooo bad.
how do i make it look good??
i tried blowdrying it..but that just makes it look frizzy=[

Go back to your stylist (or another stylist) and ask for product to make your hair look good. You should put anti-frizz spray in before you blowdry as well. And maybe get some sculpting wax to fix it up if that doesn't work.

I don't think i'm fat but just a little over weight i just want to loose a few pounds not a lot to be like super skinny! I want to be average so i eat a little bit but balance meals i try to get away from sweets but i exercise till i literately drop! But i don't lay a sweat can i loose weight without sweating because i hardly ever sweat. Like in school when we are in Gym Nothing! An when i exercise till i can't do anything anymore nothing no sweat comes down! so can i loose weight without sweating?

Honestly, it isn't sweating that makes you lose weight. It's when you reach the fitness zone and your body works hard enough to start burning calories (I belileve that is why you sweat, to cool of the inside of your body while calories are burned). Also, after you work out you're metabolism speeds up for hours (so you can't gain the amount of calories you lost back just by eating a snack with that amount of calories). But sweating really doesn't matter, the only weight you lose by sweating is water weight. And that you should always get back by drinking lots of water during exercise.

I want to do something romantic for my boyfriend. I'm only 15 so i can't do anything too extreme, he is 16. Any ideas for something not too cheesy, not expensive, and maybe something i could do in front of his friends to show them how good i can be to him? his friends don't really accept us as a couple yet, so i want to win them over by showing them i can make him happy.

I don't know this guy, but I do know most guys like music. Maybe not an expensive band, but maybe you could look up free/cheap bands coming near you that you think he may like. It would just be a piece of paper you're showing him, so it's not extravegant. And if you look well, you can find undiscovered bands that aren't expensive in the least...

I say to go darker. Maybe black or a dark red. Or even your natural. Just don't dye too much, or you're hair will get gross and brittle. But yes, I think a darker color will last longer, because your roots wouldn't be noticable growing in.

Aw, I had a similar situation here last year (though for me most everyone from my school was there but no one in classes). I just joined one club (tennis) that I really enjoyed so it was hard for me to make friends. What I suggest is make small talk with the people near you. Or at least come off as a pleasant person by smiling (not like creepy) and acknowleging people. People will be more drawn to someone who is open.
