what i have to say about your voice is :
1. you breath out a little too much when you sing. basically you need to remember that there shouldn't EVER be a lot of air coming out of your mouth when singing a note. it has to be a moderate proportion. you also need to practice breathing exercises (if you dont know which ones, email me or message me on here i'd be glad to help)

2. besides the exercises, i recommend drinking tea or water before singing, it loosens up your throat and makes it easier.

3. you have a nice voice, but every voice, whether perfect or not, needs to be professionally trained. even professionals occasionally need lessons, so keep that in mind. =]]

4. as for the vibrato, you're right you have a lot, but it's not a bad thing, you just need to learn when to use it. it's not meant for the end of EVERY line. it should be used in proportion.

5. try harmonizing, you'll expand your vocal range, and you'll learn notes better. do you play an instrument? if you have a piano around you could play a note on the piano and then sing that same note. it helps create perfect pitch.

6. don't sing in falsetto for now. train your voice to the register it's supposed to be in. this is because when you're young (11-21 for women) you can easily ruin your voice. its recommended that you dont sing in falsetto or flageolet registers.

7. try to loosen your voice, what i mean is dont strain it. the singing and air should come from your stomach and lungs, NOT your throat. so be carefull with that.

8. when you have certain letters such as "p" you have to make sure you pronounce it softly. not a hard "P". that's the thing w/ all words in singing. another example is the word "love" which is usually pronounced a lot like "lub" making the "v" softer and the "o" into a "U" sound. sorry if it's confusing, just remember that "hard" consonants should be transformed into soft consonants

there are some vocal exercises you can do to prevent the head voice and increase chest voice. also, there are some certain ways of breathing that'll get you to the right place. if you need specific details, i'll be glad to write them to you, but there's no more room on here, so message my inbox =]] hope i can help

There is this guy I like and we grew up together from diapers. We were best friends. Then we grew apart. Well, now he is back in my life. We go to church together and I caught him staring at me.(that happens a lot) One day I asked him point blank if he liked me and he said he couldn't answer that because he has a girlfriend and it wouldn't be fair to her. If he had said "I have a girlfriend" and only that (w.out saying "i can't answer because of it wouldn't be fair to her" meaning she'd be upset w. his answer.....him liking YOU not her) then it woulda been a little different. But the fact that he said that makes me 99.9% sure that he likes you.
and if he stares a lot, that means he likes what he sees.

I put on music, and dance in between putting clothes away. that's the only thing that keeps me going.

if you find that you stop cleaning because of boredom, take everything that should be put away, and put it onto your bed, so this way you HAVE to clean or else you have no where to sleep.

Basically, me and my best friend have slowly become a little more than just that. friends. We're slowly doing the little flirting signs and dropping the hints to each other. We both really want to give US a chance, but at the end of our school year(we're in eighth grade) I'm moving to the other end of the country, and even if I stay he's going to a different school. We want to give dating a chance, but we're both really afraid we're going to get hurt when the summer comes, and we're aying goodbye.

I guess I just really want to know if we should give it a chance,get our hearts broken, but have had the good 5 months together, or don't risk it.

I thought to myself, if i move and don't give it a chance, i'm gonna regret not at least TRYING.

So you answered my question earlier about my best friends birthday. I'm thinking of making her something or getting her something nice. She like hawaiianish stuff like shells and palm trees. But she has alot of shell jewelry already. For movies she likes...a walk to remember. That's her favorite. Her favorite cartoon is avatar the last airbender. She likes light blue. She already has alot of make up, lotion, ect. So I don't really want to get her that. She also has alot of earrings and she doesn't wear rings. Hmm...thats about all I can think about her.

you can take her to the movies(hopefully it's not expensive where you live), or to the beach (bonfire! haha)

yes, if you go into YOUR truth box application.

1. go on your homepage and go into your own truth box application.
2. there will be a bunch of tabs and one of them will say friends (this will show the friends with a truth box)
3. pick the friend and send a message in the box provided.

the only reason this wouldn't work, is if the person has disabled, or doesn't have a truth box.

if you have really thick hair, i'd say don't do too many layers, because layers will make your hair poof out more.

So my best friend is turning 15 in a few days. I need some ideas on what to get her or do for her. I'm only 14 so I can't go expensive since I'm not very rich. I wanted to make her something. We've been best friends for like 7 years so I wanted to do something special for her. I'm thinking of trying to make a slideshow and have some pics on there but I don't really know how I can do it. I have pics from when we were younger and pics from now. So I could use both but how should I? If there are any other ideas you have please let me know. Thanks!

Regarding the pictures, i suggest going to a store like k-mart or walmart and getting a simple corkboard or one of those boards where you can thumbtack paper too (they aren't expensive, around 5-10 dollars) and make a collage of your pictures with her. i did it for my best friends birthday and she loved it (she's 17)

as for getting her something... what does she like? is she a fan of a certain movie or book? get her a poster of her favorite hollywood crush or by her an inexpensive necklace from her favorite movie or book (you can find them online)

if you want to go out, it depends on where you live. in my state, a lot of kids go iceskating, or bowling, or to the beach for birthdays. it depends on your friend. you can invite her over for a sleep over party and stay up all night. or if you want to throw a mini party at your house, it wouldn't cost a lot, just for some chips and sodas for the guests, and you can play games and such.

I'm just going to say this is going to be very long, so try to keep up an enjoy the ride.

Ok, so last year I was in a play at school and I fell madly in love with a guy we're going to call "Jack." Jack and I had been friends since the beginning of the year but I didn't really like him until we were working together. Sufice to say I ended up with a HUGE crush on him. In moment of foolishness I told him I liked him a lot. He took me out into the hall and explained that he could never like me like that because I was too close of a friend. Plus, his parents wouldn't let him date until he was 16. I was crushed but we still decided to be friends and have remained good friends since.
Fast forward a year:
Jack and I have become increasingly close. Jack just had his 16 birthday and I was invited. One of his two best riends wasn't invited to make room for me. We're doing another play together (Les Misérables, hence the whores)and hang out a bunch. Yesterday when we had our scene together (I'm a whore and he's a sailor) he literally would not stop grabbing me. I was supposed to be with the other whores across the room but he firmly planted his hands around my waist. I said, "Jack, I have to go over and talk to 'John' too! Let me go, I'll be back in a minute!" He scowled at John and later said to me "I wish I was the only sailor who got to bring you home at night."
I still have a bunch of feelings for Jack. I mean, I he asked me out I'd say yes in a heartbeat. But I'm so confused as to if he actually likes me or if he's just being friendly.
So people, here are my questions:
1. Do you think Jack likes me as a friend, or MORE than a friend?
2. If he only likes me as a friend, do you have any tricks (Or think I have a chance in hell)to get him to like me?
Sorry this was so long! Thanks for being patient and all the advice I'm sure will ensue. :)

when you like someone apparently your pupils dialate. is it obvious that your pupils dialate? can the other person tell?

Pupils dialate on lots of occasions such as if you're telling a lie. Unless you are looking EXTREMELY close and you can tell the difference between lying/the reflection of light that makes your pupil get bigger and smaller, there's really only about a .5% chance that a person can tell.

So to answer your question, no
