advice
my hair is a about mid-back, and i need to get it cut. my current style is side-bangs. does anyone have any cute ideas that will allow me to keep my hair with the side-bangs, but yet cut it shorter? pictures would help also.
long layers would look really pretty with that, that way you wouldnt be sacrificing much length AND it will still be a bit shorter!

Hi. Ok. So I have this really dry part on my face.. between my eyebrows. I moisterize at least, occasionly 2 times a day. I pay special attention to that certain spot, without applying to must cream, but it never goes away. I also get acne sometimes and usse spot treatments, but usually avoid that area so it doesnt get dried out. I there anything I can do ? The rest of my skin is very nice and soft. HELP ME PLEASE !!
it might be from waxing, the waxing removes the top layer of oil on your face and that could be making it dry. You can try a moisterizer for combination skin, which would work for acne-prone skin, AND dry skin. Spot treatments also use salycic acid adn that dries out the skin so try something more gentle. it should help

If the place you go to does not provide anything to numb the pain on your tongue: then yes it hurts, just like any other peircing. Youre getting a metal spike impaled throughout your whole tongue, its going to hurt. The pain of the needle going through isnt half as bad as it hurts after you get it done(regardless of whether you get it numbed or not) The days after you get it done, it hurts so bad the pain is indescribable. Your tongue swells for about a period of 4-5 days and you'll have a lisp. During these couple of days it is very very difficult to eat., but after those days, your tongue will start to deswell and you will start to talk normally again. When it heals, you will have only a slight lisp, not that noticible. I think its worth it but it all depends on the person and your tolerance to pain. Good luck!
this is really long, but i really would like some help,please.
first off, im having a bad week. on sunday i got arrested. now last night, this started. my mom came in my room to say goodnight... but acted strange about it. i yelled at her because she didnt knock first and she begged and pleaded for a hug and a kiss goodnight, and when i still refused she started to whine and said, "but i might not get many more oppurtunities"... so i gave her a hug, and a really long one, and then she left and went to bed eventually. about a half hour later, i was going to the bathroom, and on my way back to my room, i saw my mom. she gave me another hug, and looked like she was going to cry. she started saying how she was sorry for not knocking, and she was sorry for all the things she did that made me unhappy. (she listed a few that have happened over my life) then she said she wants me to try to be good to my sister, and help my dad. she said to listen to him. she told me she loved me at least 6 times. she told me one of the happiest moments in her life was the day i was born. she said the other two happiest were when she married my dad, and the day she had found out i had won an essay on "worlds greatest mother" that i had written about her. she said dad would need help with things if she wasnt around. then finally she said, you better get some rest, time for bed. i keep thinking about all of this, what could it mean? and then i remembered, she has bipolar disorder, and she may have something else too that i havent heard about. whats happening to her? this morning when i got up for school, her and my dad were still in bed, and snuggled really close. i asked if someone could take me to school and my dad said he would. (usually my mom takes me though) so then she told me she loved me alot, and lots more hugs. she gave me lunch money and said goodbye, have a good day. i noticed shes wearing her wedding ring, which she never wears because its so hard to get off, and she wouldnt want to leave it on during the shower or while shes asleep. her and my dad love each other, but usually, my dad is already up for work by 7:30 and they arent usually snuggled so close to each other in bed. my mom told me dad was still in bed because they both couldnt sleep. so i went to school, pondering this all day. when i came home, my mom was putting my sisters new school picture in a frame to put over the fireplace, next to mine. she pointed out to me that if i ever need it, a picture of her as a baby, of the day she was born, is in the frame too, just behind the other three. im getting suspicious of whats going on, so i said, why would I need it? she said because valerie (my sister) is going to have to do a project in her class this year where she may need a picture of herself when she was younger. my mom has been saying my dad is going to help me through my arrest, and i'll get through it, she knows i can. if this was going on with you, what would you think? whats up with all these things shes been saying lately? is she dying?
My mom would say things like that when she was going through fits of depression and conteplating suicide. either from the disorders she has(depression, fibromalygia syndrome) or when she was on her drugs. im not saying your mom is going to kill herself but i definitly think you should talk to a school counsiler before something very bad happens. The bi-polar disorder plays a huge role in the way shes acting. Shes talking about how much she loves you, and is saying things like "but i might not get many more oppurtunities" it's definitly not a good sign. Her dying could be a possibility, among other things, but im saying i think you really do need to talk to a school counsiler. And if you remember she said your DAD is going to help you through your arrest, and that youll get through it, and that she knows you can..what do you think her saying your DAD will help you throught it is indicating? Im not very sure but i do not think its very good. She could be either dying, contemplating suicide, or going away somewhere for a short, or, long amount of time. Theres other reasons for it too but you definitly need to find them before ..its too late. Something happens that you cant change. So i'd say first thing tomorrow morning you go to your counsiler and tell her that you think your mom is in danger and what shes been saying, and that its sort of a emergency for you to find out. honestly. i think what your mom is saying are words from someone who s having a very hard time. it could be from you being arrested too, that can have a very hard impact on a mother. alot of things go through their head when they find out something like that has happened to her child. she could possibly feel like shes failed as a parent or something along those lines, but those are just possibilities. like i said DEfinitly talk to a school counsiler, theyre here for you. I want you to do this because i want you to find out the truth, even if its harsh and hard to accept. I also want you to do it because i really dont want you, one day, regret how you didnt tell someone. I already know how that feels and id absolutely hate to see it happen to someone else. Im always here if you need someone to talk to and sorry for making this so long haha i just want to emphasize my feelings about whats going on. I wish you good luck to you and your family.
I have really bad strep throat and there's puss pockets all over my tonsils and stuff.. will I have to have my tonsils taken out? or is it only for when people get sick ALL the time? I'm so scared of surgery so give details on what they look for if they consider taking tonsils out. Thanks so much!
you can only get youre tonsils taken out if you have strep ALOT. like 6 times a year or something. i'd always have to go through this so i know. and if you go to the doctor theyll just give you some antibiotics for a week and it should clear up. hope i help

i have dirty blonde hair and am considered the quiet shy girl at school. i'm not really, i just want to do something fun and make them all be confused since they won't expect it. i want bright, but light, blue hihglights in my hair. i want it to last for at least a few weeks without fading too much. but what's the difference between streaks and highlights? is there really? and if anyone has a picture of someone with blue streaks/highlights, it would be greatly appreciated!
Highlights are usually all over in the hair and done with foil, that takes like 3 hours. With highlets you can get them in different amounts of color: chunky, chunky weave, a quarter inch apart. an inch apart..but i definitly would not recomend this with blue because ive never seen anyone with blue HiGHLiGHTS. But, I have seen with streaks. Usually with streaks, its usually just done in..streaks lol, on the outer part of the hair, not everywhere like highlights, usually poeple put blue streaks in their hair wen they have it down and straight. Ive never really seen anyone with blonde hair and blue streaks ..except me because ive put a couple streaks of blue in my hair before..but i did it with the ConAirProColorAccents thing or something. I really recomend this because its awesome! and you can put so many colors in your hair. they sell them at walmart, walgreens, etc. Usually when i see bright streaks or marks of neon color,its on black hair cuz that looks the best. my hair falls out in the shower alot when i brush it and even when i just put my fingers through it...it used to be pretty thick and it has thinned out ALOT! my mom says it from straightening my hair (i only straighten it 2-3 times a week) and my friends says its from stress from high skool! i really want to fix this problem which one or what is the problem?
Its most likely more from stress not straightening it. You can try putting some hair cream with alot of vitamins on it when you get out of the shower and buy medicated shAmpoo for "dry, or unhealthy hair". Also when you get out of the shower, brush it with a comb and never ever tug at it, start brushing lightly, and working your way brushing it down from the bottom, and then work your way up. Just try being a little bit "nicer" to your hair lol mine used to do the same thing and then i started being a bit more gentle with it and it got better! Hope i help!
