Hey everybody. I've love giving advice so I'll answer every question I can. If you need any advice on anything, just ask me! A little about me- I play tennis and I love to shop and hang out at my pool with friends. I'll be a sophomore in high school this year so I've had plenty of experience on friendship and relationships. I always try to take my time and answer every question thoughtfully. I don't care about ratings or any of that, I just want to help people out. :-)

How does anorexia harm you or your body? I know pukeing will stain your teeth but what else?? cuz if thats it, then whats the harm right?

It's scary to hear you say that. First, the puking goes along with bulimia, not anorexia. The main harm in anorexia is that it's addictive and will eventually kill you. If that's not enough of a reason, think about the fact that it can cause major organs to shut down, heart attacks can occur, or the risk of osteoporosis. The thing is, there are certain nurtrients you NEED to survive. If it were ok not to eat, then food wouldn't have been created. It's a nesseccity. Please think about this.

I really don't think there's a way to get rid of a tan, but you can definitely prevent yourself from getting any tanner. Wear lots of sunscreen whenever you go outside and try to stay out of direct sunlight. After summer's over your tan will fade anyway. :-)

ok, this might seem a bit confuseing but here it goes. Ok me and this guy Brian and his mom and my mom were hanging out by the pool. Brian is 17 by the way. When we first got there Brian asked me how old i was. And I told him i was 13. Then after a while of talking and swimming. He comes and sits beside me while our moms are gone to get something to eat. Right out of nowhere he says " Well what do u think about me?" Then I got so imbarassed and told him what I thought. He kept going on and on and on about how he would kick his youger sisters ass if she botherd me ( who is in my grade). Then after a few minutes he comes and sits beside me again and says " You know what?" " I can spoil you." I looked at him and said " Oh yea, I bet you can" Then he goes " I can give you a missage and that will spoil you." I loked at him funny and said " I don't think so "

He sounds like a loser who can't get any girls his own age. Really, he seems like a creep. Maybe he is interested in you but you shouldn't be interested him. If you need to, tell your mom what he said so she will know that he shouldn't be around you anymore.

Ok, so I am having a problem....I dont know what this one song is called and I dont know who it is by.

and so on...Does anyone know what song that is or who it is by??? Its old, But I am looking something up and I couldn't look it up because I knew nothing about it.

That song is called "L-O-V-E" by Nat King Cole. It's played on Parent Trap, I'm guessing that's where you heard it from. :-)

Hey i play sports and dont get me wrogn I love playing them and wouldnt want to quit...but iam kinda a tom boy so how can i become more girly??

Just start experimenting with things most girls are into. Start wearing makeup and go shopping for new clothes. Maybe you could get a couple skirts and cute tops that are more girly than your usual outfit. I don't know, watch that episode of Made where Sam gets made into a girly girl. Good luck!

how often can i go to indoor tanning salons? what's the most often i can go?

When you first start tanning you should go every other day or every 3 days. NEVER go everyday. I don't think they'll let you anyways. Then once you get a good tan you can start going less often. :-)

The most important thing is that you make sure to be really friendly. Smile a lot and just make casual conversation with whoever. Nobody likes someone who seems stuck up. That's the best advice I can give ya :-)

I use CoverGirl Perfect Point Plus and that works really good. It always looks pretty on. Also Sephora brand eyeliner is really nice too. It goes on really smooth and it's only like 4 bucks. You can get it at any Sephora store in the mall or www.sephora.com. Hope this helps!

hey! i bought some bronzer in the compressed powder form, but i dont know how to put it on!! everytime ido its bltochy and looks soo bad! how to i apply it evenly and where do i apply it? thanks!

Well first, make sure you are using a brush, not a cosmetic round (that's probably what came with it). It evens it out much more. Just dust it over your skin, and if you need to smooth it out use a clean cosmetic round.

I weigh 130 pounds and im 5"4...im looking to loose 7-10 pounds in the next 2 weeks (if its possible) HEALTHILY. Any tips? Also do you know of any yummy quick and easy snacks I can make and keep in the fridge to heat up or something? Help is appreciated =)

Drink lots of water. For snacks have an apple, banana, crackers w/ peanut butter, pretzels, popcorn, etc. Just anything with low calories. Try to workout a lot too. Good luck!

Hey All!
Homecoming is a way away, but I am currious. I have never gone to a dance before. My boyfriend and I are going to most of the dances at both of our schools this year, because it is his senior year. I already have a dress for Prom. and it is floor length. I wore it in a wedding.

So, is homecoming like prom at all? Do you get an almost to the floor dress? a knee length? what? What are good colors?

Is it a huge deal? How much should one spend on a homecoming dress.

What about shoes?

its in September or October. (I cannot remember!)

Well I've never been to prom so I'm not sure, but I think they're pretty similiar. You can wear any kind of dress you want. Last year I wore a long dress but this year I'm wearing a really short one. Just try on a bunch of different ones and find what you like. There are lots of websites with them. Same thing with colors, just get what you like. For shoes, get some strappy heels that match your dress. Hope this helps, have fun! Homecoming is a blast.

Yeah it's on right now actually. They'll show atleast 5 more times before the next one, plus they keep playing it after that too. Ok so basically everyone comes from college to visit for Christmas Break. Kristin is seeing a new guy Matt and things are awkward between her and Stephen. Casey has a party at her mansion and Alex H has a poker party at her house the same night. Jessica and Jason are having relation ship issues. Lo has a Christmas party, and all the seniors go bowling one night. Stephen and LC go out for dinner that night, then go back to her jacuzzi. Go to mtv.com for a full summary but that's pretty much it. :-)

how much should i charge when i am babysitting?
i babysit 3 children ages, 9, 5, and 2 and i am 13 yrs old. i also babysit my cousins that are 4 and 1. how much i was thinking like 3$ an hr per kid but then i saw an episode of full house and DJ babysat and only charged 2.50 an hr and those shows are from like forever ago so now 3$ per hr per kid seems too low! help! i dont want to be rude to the kids parents and ask for too much *remember i am only 13*

Yeah 2.50 a hour is not enough! I'd say not charge about $5 an hour, but not per kid. Maybe for the family with 3 kids you should charge $6 an hour. That sounds fair. Plus if you do really good or work extra hours they'll probably pay more sometimes.

OK, im looking for a decent tennis racket that is priced $20-30. so far the ones that i have liked are the Wilson Fusion 110, Head Ti Smash, Prince Powerline Synergy, Prince PowerLine Zone, and the Wilson '05 Grand Slam 115. I was just wondering if anyone had any other reccomendations and/or out of the ones i picked out which one would be the best.

I don't think you're going to find a good tennis racquet for $20-30. Except maybe the junior sized ones. Most racquets cost anywhere from $70 to $300. I guess they do make cheap ones but it probably won't last long and it's not going to help your game. One I would recommend (especially if you're a beginner) is the Prince Thundercloud TiOver (Titanium Oversized). It's about $60. Plus all the ones you listed are pretty outdated. Sorry, I know this probably isn't what you wanted to hear but it's the truth.

O.K. I am 13/f and my mom hooked me up with this REALLY hot 16 year old guy named Wesley about 2 weeks before my birthday. We met while my mom's employee brought him to the store that my mom works at. About 2 days later, we were going to a restaurant and we found out that coincidentally, they were headed to the same place. So we ended up eating TOGETHER! Me and Wesley talked about EVERYTHING. I like him and I could TELL he liked me. Well, the day of my birthday, someone planned a barbeque thing for cancer and Wesley came. He told me happy birthday and stuff. Well, after the barbeque thing, we went to the movies. I invited 9 people but barely ANYBODY came except my best friend Becka, and of course Wesley came too. Well, before the movie, I was throwing popcorn in his mouth and he was throwing it in my mouth and it was the FUNNEST time. We were seeing the "Ring 2". When the movie started, we were being really loud and having a REALLY great time. We ended up holding hands. He put his arm around me in the car but what bothered me the most was that he was ALSO putting his arm around Becka, my best friend. I was too bothered but I scooted closer to him so he would know that I like him more than she does. He held my hand until we got to his house. When we got there, we got out and went in and took a look around. Then, we went outside and Wesley picked up Becka and ran around with her. He did the same to me.

A month ago my mom found out something about him that really made me upset. She found out that he had sex with a 47 year old woman. She was really fat and short, too.



I cried because I thought he really liked me. Hoe can I get over him? I miss him but I hate him. I hate him but I love him because he did that to me! Please help!

I'm depressed! What can I do?

Oh wow. If I were you I would just laugh it off. What a freak! Now that you know that, you shouldn't have any feelings for him. Focus on guys who a)are closer to your age, and b)don't have sex with anyone, let alone 47 year old women. Good luck!
