Ok so there's this guy *John* who I've known for 3 years now. The first year, we really liked each other and almost went out, but didn't. Then it kind of fizzled out, mainly because he got "popular" I guess and didn't talk to me or my friends very much. He also got a girlfriend, who he went out with for a year, but they've been broken up for about a year now. I'm not sure about the details, but she dumped him and it was REALLY hard on him. We just started talking again recently. He knows I still like him (I told him). Here's the problem:
He was at boyscout camp 2 weeks ago and we texted almost NONSTOP. He completely flirted with me the entire time. He said he missed me like every 5 minutes and that he wanted to be with me. He also invited me to go to an amusement park with his friend. Then his friend (who thinks I'm hot) started texting and calling me (*John* didn't know about the calls). His friend was completely hitting on me. He was starting to creep me out, and I stopped answering his phone calls. Now *John* had stopped flirting with me and became very stand-off-ish. When I told him I didn't like his friend and he was scaring me, he sort of became his self again, but not as much as before. As it turned out, *John* told me we shouldn't go to the amusement park, because it was raining (and maybe other reasons? i'm not sure :/).
And since then, he only texts me every now and then. It's never that long or QUITE as flirty, but kinda. And it almost ALWAYS ends by him randomly not texting anymore. And every time I initiate it, he almost NEVER texts me back.
My question is, WHAT IS UP?! What happened to 2 weeks ago? How did it go from almost going out to him being so weird? I know I didn't do anything to make him like me less. I haven't even seen him since school let out. I've graduated and he still has a year to go, if that helps. Why is he sending me mixed signals? I'm so confused. I also have a feeling that his friend might have messed things up between us. His friend already lied to me once with something. And in one of our phone convos, he told me things about *John* that made *John* sound kinda like a jerk. What if he did the same thing to *John* and told him bad things about me? I DON'T EVEN KNOW THIS PERSON! What should I do? Because I REALLY REALLY like this kid, I always have. What's going on here? Why is he doing this? Is he playing me? He doesn't seem like the type to do that, but I don't know. Maybe he just needs to grow up? I'm tired of being really happy when he actually DOES text me, and then crying when he randomly stops or doesn't answer my text. I'm sick of being thrown around like this. I keep telling myself not to answer his texts, but once he does, I can't help myself. I like him so much. Ugh, please help. (link)

Sounds like he's just as confused as you. Ignore him for a bit, he'll probably start paying attention to you again once he realizes you're not paying attention to him.

i had the weirdest dream ever.. in the dream, like somehow i was at beyonce's birthday party in her big mansion house. poperazzi was outside and i got inside and went to the room with beyonce, kelly, michelle, and B's mom. i thought they'd kick me out, since i didnt know them, but they let me stay. beyonce seemed kinda sad for some reason, and i didnt eat anything on the table.. cause i dunno. it was weird that they let me stay but cool, too. beyonce's house was even near my house. which is weird since i live in a typical suburban house.... so its almost neighbors with a giant mansion? XD anyways, then i went downstairs to their basement, which looked kinda like mine. there was this boy there, whos beyonce's son supposedly. he was the same age i was, and he was really hott, and funny. he was playing some video game on the computer. he didnt talk that much but soon we became friends.. i forget some that happened in the dream. but i began to visit that house alot. like once i went there afterschool (beyonce's kid didnt go to my school, i assume he gets tutored or somethin) and my books fell on the floor. beyonce asked if i had a backpack and im like yea but i needed a new one. so she went and got me another backpack. im mad i forgot what it looked like..i dont think i saw it in the dream but im assuming its cute. alot of stuff happened that kinda correlate with my life. like i read this story about a girl and a bag that was real creative and stuff.. and other little things i think about. weird. but then later later, beyonce's son and i end up falling for each other i think, cause then i like make out with him and then that day is supposedly my birthday (lol weird i know) so i go downstairs and my whole family is like "happy bday!" and they make a big feast coz of it. and im wearing a real cute dress that was handed down from generation to generation. ive never even seen it before.. it was cute i guess. and all the food they made was amazing.. african foods mostly, and other good stuff. what happened later... i remember going to Beyonce's house again to see her son (i never got his name, too) and a schoolmate of mine was there too but like the house was split into two parts.. beyonce's house and like.. some government thingy. so she had to go to the government thingy and was like suprised that i was going to beyonce's extravagant house. cause she didnt know where it was and i told her to go upstairs to some room. i remember thinking that the dream was real.. that i was really seeing and talking to Destiny's Child and other celebs that were at the party. i felt like out of place since i didnt know anyone and i thought they'd send people to take me out. and other little stuff happened.. like people in my neighborhood too were like "omg beyonce!" and they threw some like golden earrings that i threw out in the trash in real life, coz they were getting mold on them from being in the bathroom too long (not really gold, however) and i guess i felt guilty i threw em out since they were from my aunt in cameroon.. but i tried washing them but they still looked ucky green so i couldnt wear em anymore. anyways in the dream the earrings were actually made of gold and my mom picked em up and was like "we're gonna be rich!" lol that was funny and interesting! i hope i get the same dream again. what does it mean? and why do i always have weird dreams that i remember like every night? I took your advice and i asked a guy out. on the 2nd date we kinnda kissed like peckish like. it was short and weird. When i looked up from the kiss the guy was blushing and got kinda freaked. he ran away. I called him and asked what was up and he said that he'd tell me on our next date. well when he came he said he had a "boner" and was embarrased. So i said it was ok and after the date we kissed in his car. well maybe more like make-out. then he dropped me off at home. Firstly, before I go into this, I'm not atheist, I'm agnostic. You may be heading that way also, judging by the way you're questioning things.
The way I view it, God is quite possibly a made up being. You see, Hell as it is, is supposed to be some terrible place filled with fire and ghastly feelings throughout your body.
Why isn't hell different? Why isn't hell attuned to each an every person. For instance, picture being locked in a black and white room with the colors being black and white, a 50s looking couple dancing in front of you to classical music. You're stuck watching this for eternity. You can't sleep, you can't do anything. That could quite possibly be someone's hell.
Why not?
Because people used to be burned at the stake, etc. Fire was viewed as a horrible, terrible, and very feared thing.
Where am I going with this? The Bible was written quite some time ago, and one reason I assume it's not all that true and just a story is because fire was a terrible thing back then, now things are slightly different. Then fire was viewed as horrific, and while today it still is, there are worse things.
Even if God was real, why do I want to respect him? He's an evil man. Have you read before Jesus actually was brought onto earth? Exodus, all that stuff? Read some of it, I encourage you to. It's filled with rape, death, slaughter, sacrifice and more.
God asked a man to take his son and KILL HIM. God said "Kill this boy, kill your son, to prove you believe and have faith in me."
Right before this man goes to kill his son God says "Haha, just kidding man, I'm just fucking with you."
Do you think, that if today, someone came out with that story today and just made it a book or anything else, he wouldn't be viewed as a terribly sick and sadistic man? No, hell no. People would say "You're fucking crazy, do you know that?"
God turned someone into salt for looking behind them while running away from their home... he's not all that nice, is he?
God wasn't someone people respected and therefore they worshiped him, God was someone people feared and therefore they worshiped him. They didn't want to die.
If God acted in such a way, why do we not see such acts today? What made him change, what made him cool off?
You know what's confusing? Why do church sermons concentrate on Jesus and only him? Because Jesus was this nice guy, who loved everyone and died on the cross for YOU and everyone else.
People don't pay attention to God because he's that guy with the temper that's gunna kill you for not doing as he asks.
And, the best question of all is the one you presented.
Why did God make the earth? Why did God even bother creating us? Was it just something he made up because he was bored one day?
"I'm gunna make earth and a bunch of people and kill them off as I please and make them worship me, if they do that they won't die!"
If anything, God made us to fill his ego and show how powerful he was... not because he loved us. The only thing he loves is fucking with us. We're his play toy, his big project.
In the beginning there was nothing, no color, no nothing. How the hell did he get there?
People made God up, people made Heaven and Hell up because of one reason: They needed to believe that when you die, you have somewhere to go.
People can't fathom the fact that our time on earth could quite possibly be the only time we have anywhere.
Have you tried to imagine what it would be like to be dead and not go to Heaven or Hell? If you have, I'm sure you got quite scared. I get a chill every time I sit and think about it. The best way to compare it is thinking about before you were born, but thinking about YOU before you were born.
People made God, Heaven and Hell, because they were scared they had nothing to live for, nowhere to go after death and to make mourning the dead easier.

People have no answers to certain questions, and when someone who believes in God or Jesus starts to lose some argument over religion it all dwindles down to one thing: You've gotta have Faith.
That's not enough for me.
Speak with your pastor on the subject. Ask him questions you're confused about, heck, even ask your parents.
I could go on and on, about all the different religions, God's problem with realizing that as humans, we may make the human mistake to not believe in him.
Why would we go to hell if he manufactured us to possibly not believe in him? If this deity is so powerful, so fucking all knowing, how the hell did he leave out the part where we don't believe in him and go to Hell for it?

One of my best friends is a guy that i have gone out with. He moved to another state and now I only talk to him on AIM, txts, but rarely on the phone. He has a girlfriend and I'm not that great on long-term relationships but he's one of the only long-term relationships I've had with somebody. Talking to him makes me still miss him and how I still love him. But now, I have a feeling he's avoiding me because on AIM chats he always says "BRB" and then signs off! 3 times already! I think you're allergic to mosquito bites.
I used to be incredibly allergic to fire ant bites, and the same thing would happen to me, except it could get a lot worse.
Fortunately I took small doses of the poison via shots and my body worked up an immunity to it.
You can't really do that with a mosquito, however, so I recommend trying to avoid them.

ok. i am 14, female, and so is my best friend Kelly.
