why do people have sex when they aren't trying to have a baby? I mean is it that pleasurable?? As you can tell i am a virgin. I want to know why i should have sex and when i know that i am "ready to"!

You'll know when you're ready. When you love a person very, very much, feel you want to be with them for the rest of your life, and are willing to let them have your virginity, one of the most important things that belong to you, that is when you are ready to have sex. A few reasons people tend to have sex when they aren't trying to become pregnant are:
They want to express their love for each other in a deeper, meaningful way.
Teens feel pressure because supposidly "everyone is doing it".
Pleasure.
You always have a choice. It's your body and you don't have to have sex if you don't want to.
