My name is Devin Lindsey or Vinny as my sister calls me! I am 17 years old and go to Bethel Park High school. I loooove swimming along with dancing, singing, and playing softball. I also run varsity track with is alright i supose too.


My favorite colors are orange, pink, and blue. I love to be crazy and have a good time

I've had a job working for 15+ monthes so I can answer alot about that

and I know alot about relationships in general so I can be helpful with that sometimes

especially with parent child relationships


I am a very observant person and tend to know more and care about more than most my age


and I really believe in volunteering to help animals especially at shelters. Usually its not their fault that they have to live their and its usually horrible cercimstances that bring them there and I feel terrible that they can't speak for themselves and people are too caught up in spending like $500 on this cute little pure breed puppy from a breeder just into getting rich instead of giving one of these dogs another chance at life (there are usually a handful of dogs under a year old so the i want a puppy excuse doesn't work with me)

My baby is named Lainey Mae... we got her from a shelter about 2 hours away from us when she was 7 weeks old. she is now 2 years old and the center of our family. unfortunately someone was cruel enough to go down and drug up and shoot (but luckly not kill) most of the dogs plus rob the owner (just like someone did at the shelter where I volunteer) and its now shut down

Ok this could be long! I am in 8th grade and last year there was a kid in my class. EvEryone made fun of him and he was bipolar and had some mental problems. Well, yesterday 11/3. He attempted suicude for the second time. He jumped from the bak of a moving school bus and he is now in acoma. He broke his arm and probably his bak and neck too. He isn't dead though. ThEre was BLooD everywhere. The first time he tried to stab himself with scissors. I feel really bad because I was one to make fun of him. How can i make myself not feel so bad? ALl my freinds say im different since but im really scared for the kid. He seems like he could be nice. Plese help will rate. _-HeArtbreaker-__

well acually yes but you wouldnt now it happened. if you have 2 eggs release and you have sex with several dif people the 2 eggs can be fertalized by dif men. but after that first month there is no chance of it happening because the 2nd egg would die if it wasnt fertalized

Right well we got a swimmin pool built in our school last month and when the girls are on their periods they aren't allowed to sit out but are forced to use tampons!!!!!! I haven't been on since it was built but oomg. I am so scared. I have never used a tampon and I'm never GONNA so don't suggest I do. Isn't it like illegal to force us to use tampons or somethin? My friend even got her rents in about it and they still made her use tampons!! What can I do on swimmin days that I am on? I'm not using a tampon but I'm not standin in the changing room arguing bout whether to use one or not with the PE teacher its embarassing!!

well they cant really force you but they can take off major points if you dont swim. either jsut forget your stuff when you get your period or try a tampon they acually arent that bad you just gotta find ones that work for you. i swim in gym 3 days a week now period or not

Ok, well I have no ideas for a costume for Halloween! We just went to a cheap store and bought some stuff that my mom basically picked out that I don't like. My friend got mono a couple of weeks ago and she came to school for the first time since today. She said she's not really supposed to be back-doctors orders- but she wanted to come. But I don't really want to be like near her bc i don't want mono! Can mono go through the air? Obviosly I won't drink after her or anything... what should I do and can someone give me info on mono?

as far as i know once you start meds after the first couple days she shouldnt be contagous. the docs prob only want her home so she can feel better sooner. as long as you dont drink her drinks or shaker her hand or use her pencil or anything i think you should be okay. i would recomend the less contact the better just to be safe

I know this is a dumb question but how do you stunt your growth? I don't want to get taller so how can I stop it, My mom is 5'5 and my dad is 5'7, so how can i stop it.

well you cant just stop it. after time things like caffein(like coffee) smoking and alchol can stunt your growth but can have serious consiquences on your body because it is still developing. besides why would you want to stunt your growth. your not going to get much taller than 5'5-5'7 if even that and they are perfect heights!

OK heres the thing. I just found out the I'm pregnant yesterday. But I cheated on my boyfriend the begining of this month. The first day of my last period was Sept. 14th. Now according to when doctors say that females ovulate does anyone think its possible for me to be pregnant by the other man with whom I had sex with on the 6th and the 13th. Now i know i didnt't get pregnant on the 13th because it wouldnt have shown up on the test i took on the 21st. Now on the 6th me and the other man had sex but he didnt cum in me. So is it possible that his pre-cum got me pregnant? And if so than was it possible to get pregnant on the 6th if my period sterted 23 days from the 6th.

Why can't I wear foundation? I'll put on a little and blend it in but when you look at my face..it's all fuzzy and then it gets dry..and my face looks worse than it did before. I have tried powder and it worked until my face started to get dry and I can't wear it either. I don't know what to do...

its probabally because you don't need foundation. its only ment to even skin tones and ment for mainy women in their mid-20s and up. i would dry mositerizing your face then try some finish powerder that is real lightweight. that will give you the finnish you want. and if you looking in a mirror and it looks powerderly on you its okay because it looks perfect when others seen it from a slightly farther distance

okay i have a problem =/ my friend who i am really close to asked me to homecoming the other day, and i said no. well all along i have really wanted to go with him but people at my school hate him because he dumped one of them like 2 years ago, and they are still upset with him. the thing is, i said no because i didnt want people to be mad at me since it is only the 2nd week of school. well you act weird is because you are sort of uncomfortable. like your not uncomfortable but its just something different and your body isnt sure how to react. its kinda like a cute shyness kind of thing. the more you are around guys the less you will do that.

and for the boyfriend thing maybe they are too shy to ask you out outof fear of rejection. if you really want someone i would recomend asking them out yourself or get the into a possition where they feel more comfortable aroud you

okay well i have this new eyeliner and its amazing! its covergirl and its not a regular pencil is like a self sharpening crayon this with an eraser and it lasts for a long time its really good. and for the eyeshadow and foundation. i started using the brand flirt that they sell at kohls and its really good. i don't know if they have the color you want but it lasts all day for me. the eye liner there is pretty good too and they have lots of dif colors like shimmery gold and stuff

what can i do to make my room warmer because when the heat is on its still cold.. any ways? and no i cant put the heat on any longer

try making sure there isnt anything covering your windows like a blind. the sun will bring some heat into your room. also try leaving to door open/closed depending on how warm the rest of the house is. and if your bed is freezing pull down your covers like 30 min before you go to bed so that they have some time to get some warm air in them
