Ok well I have had my screen name for at least a year. All of a sudden it is not letting me click on my buddies and Instant Message them. I cant even look at their profiles. I try double clicking and clicking the "IM" button at the bottom of your buddy list..but it doesn't work
Is there anything I can do to fix it?

Download a different version at http://www.oldversion.com/program.php?n=aim. You can choose from all the possible versions you want, as old or as new. This is what I do whenever my AIM malfunctions, it really does work.
okay well i have been wanting an ipod shuffle. from what i know they are pretty much as good as the other ipods just without the display screen. is this right? if you have one could you please give me some advice on them. and when u put the songs on them can you only get them through itunes? and when i do get my shuffle will they have like a booklet or something telling me how to download them and the last question is. do you have to pay for all of the songs you put on there? thanks!
iPod Shuffles aren't as good as the other iPods because the songs play in a random order. You can't see what song you're listening to, and you won't know which one is coming next. If you really want to listen to a song, you have to look and look and look until you find it. Whenever putting a song on any iPod you can put the songs on iTunes, or you can take the files of songs from other music programs and put them on iTunes. All iPods come with little booklets that tell you everything you need to know about them. You only pay to buy songs that you want to download, and they're $.99. But if you have songs on CDs that you want to put on, then you don't have to pay for those.
I downloaded the newest version of aim to my computer and it doesn't give you the ability to use your own buddy icons. My friend has an older version, and it lets you use your own buddy icons (because it has the "browse" button in the expressions tab on the settings).
Is there any possible way I can get the older version so I can use my own icons?

No I did not start smoking.
It's not really easy to stop someone who is addicted to smoking. But if she's not addicted, tell her how bad it is and look it up online to find the concequences. It's basically something all teens experience sometime in their lives, and I'm glad that you said no, because peer pressure is hard.

Here it is, I like this guy named Max. He seems to like me too, he went to see my play, he went to school for me and we went to play pool. Sounds like your typical puppylove right? Wrong! Now he is neglecting me. He dissed me last monday to meet "his friend". Yeah I don't believe him...And now from being really sweet to like not talking to me anymore...

Hey everybody! I love exercising but my Cd's are all get old. I'm going to make a CD that willbe motivating and up beat to listen to. What are some really great work out songs? How do you delete some of the addresses that come out on your address section where you put the web address?

I have Mozilla Firefox, and to delete the web adresses, or as my computer calls it "History", you go to "Go" "History" (which is at the bottom) and then highlight what you want to delete and delete it. No one can ever find out what website you went on if you do this, ever. But if you have Interenet Explorer, I don't think there's a way to delete it. If you don't, then you should go to www.firefox.com and download Mozilla Firefox. It's seriously the best browser ever.

I have this headache that is so bad that I end up crying. When I cry, that makes it worse. I know this sounds stubborn but I refuse to take medication. Does anyone have anything they do to get rid of headaches? Or at least make them feel slightly better?
I get headaches soo incredibly bad and what you get sounds a lot like what I get. Some ways to get rid of headaches are drink A LOT of water... I usually drink ice cold water with a straw... I don't know why but it helps me. You can also massage the temples of your head. But I usually take child's liquid pain releiver... even though I'm way over the age limit and weight and height limit... well I take it, drink water, lay down and watch TV, and it will go away. Or if you go to sleep, it's usually gone when you wake up.
I want to update my picture, right now it is the thing that it starts out as, that We Would Love To See You! thing, I want my own picture in there. But how do I get it? I tried that Choose File button but it won't update it. How do I get my picture?
You go to "Profile Settings." Under "Part III" go to the button that says "Browse". Click on it and then choose your picture and click open. Save your settings at the bottom and your picture should upload. If the picture is too big feel free to ask me again how to make it smaller.

Aww thanks. It really depends on the guy. But some signs are talking to you more often, getting "shy" around you, or sticking up for you if someone says a joke about you. Anything he says or does that's like not normal. Yeah that's all I can think of. Lol.

Maybe she likes someone else right now, maybe you just have to wait it out until she gets over him and she might like you. If she doesn't, then it's time to move on if you've asked her out twice and never said yes.

You should definately not go if you don't want to. If you do go and you don't have fun, then you're probably going to have a miserable time. It's not right for him to buy you a ticket if you're not going to enjoy it. As for an excuse not to go, tell him that you're grounded or something or that you simply won't have fun. If he really likes you, then he'll understand.
I lovee my current girlfriend soo much! SHe has been gone for 10 days on vacation with her parents to Canada. Last night I had two friends over. One is an ex who I am still good friends with. The history on us? It was a short 1 month thing. The classic friends giving the 'somethin more than friends' thing a try that didnt go well.
Well me and her were laying on my bed and my friend was next to us. Her body was not close to mine..but i was resting my head close to her and my hand was on her shoulder. I was extremely tired about to fall asleep. Is this cheating in some way to you? I mean i have other friends that are girls who will rest their head on my stomach while playing video games..and it is absolultey nothin romantic about it because we are strictly friends and both have different love interests and 'types.'
My ex thinks it was nothin..but should i tell my gf about this? If she ever found out she would flip out because she is extremely sensitive on the topic of me and my ex. That definately isn't cheating, so don't feel guilty. You're just good friends with your ex, and you don't have any relationship besides friendship with her at all whatsoever. If your girlfriend would get mad if you did this, simply don't tell her. What happened happened, and you can't go back in time to fix what you did, not that it was bad or anything. If you feel guilty about what you did, then don't do it again. If you feel like it's cheating, don't get too close to your ex. Just imagine that your girlfriend is there. What would you do if she was? Would you still get close to your ex? I'm glad that you thought about your girlfriend before going further, and that you were concerned enough to ask a question about it on this site. That's definately good boyfriend material.
Ohkay so i really like this one guy and he asked me to prom i really like him but i dont want him to regret asking me or think im boring. I heard he liked me a little from his brother and so i was really happy..but he keeps flirting with these other girls who all have boyfriends..i judt dont understand i dont no how to get through to him and see if he likes me im not the best talker either i have these awkward silences and i dont no what to do...oh by the way im 15 and im a girl
That's just the way guys are. Even though he's flirting with those other girls doesn't mean he has any feelings for them. Especially if they have boyfriends. Guys tend to flirt with the girls with the more outgoing, aggressive personallities. If he's flirting with other girls look upset, and maybe he'll get that he's leaving you out and you want to "be in their position." Trust me, it works. And as for the awkward silences, once you get to know him more, there will be more to talk about. So that's basically what you have to do.

You're probably showing your more "friend" side then your "boyfriend" side. You have to ask yourself. Are you relating to girls with a more friendly way rather than sexual? Try out other girls that you're not friends with and see how it works out. You'll eventually find the perfect someone. Good luck.

Yeah it's fine to talk to him again. If you like him then why would't you? You have to ask yourself how bad of a jerk he was. What did he do and why do you think he did it and why would you stop talking to him for doing it? You should forgive him becuase if you like him, ignoring him won't help.

Your bio on Advicenators? You go to Profile Settings, and scroll down and there should be a big huge box that says "Describe yourself or your column or whatever else you want the world to know:" and you put it there.
