Okay, so I've had my period for almost 2 years but I've only had it maybe a handful of times. I understand that that's completely normal. My question is - I started my period Wednesday and it's been REALLY heavy. Like heavier than it has ever been before. So heavy that I change my pad 3-4 times just during school. Usually I put one on in the morning and I can make it until lunch and then until I get home. But lately it's been taking me 6-7 just to get through an entire day. When I use the bathroom the entire toilet bowl water turns completely red and this is also the first time that I can tell when I'm bleeding.
So I was just wondering, has anyone ever had such a heavy period, is it normal to get it this heavy, could it be because I've gone so long without it (I haven't had my period since late July) or do you think there's something wrong about it being this heavy? Today is my 3rd day into it and it's still this heavy. Normally my period lasts about 5-7 days, but by the 3rd, it gets much lighter and by the 5 and on (if it goes longer) it's so light where one pad will last throughout an entire day and I only change when I go to bed and wake up. I'm so used to having a light period (or at least it only being this heavy the first day that I feel as if something is wrong. So any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
It is normal to have a heavy period. If it's bothering you that much though you could go see a gynocologist. If she thinks it's necessary, she could put you on the birth control pill. This regulates your periods. I don't really think it matters about age because I'm 14 and I have to go on it because my period lasts a wicked long time. If you don't want to go to the gyno, i would recommend overnight pads or really large ones. Also, if you wear tampons, wear a pad at the same time. Hope I helpedd!

I don't feel safe at my school.
Like, yesterday, I left my binder in a class in a basket under the seat. I come back today and it is totally ALL written on, every single page [which is like 100 pages]. It says "Dum ho", "slut", "sell out", "I HATE YOU B@#!@! :D" all this unprintable stuff.
and, today in 5th period, i get a pass to go to the bathroom and when I walk outside, the guys that love to torment me start making fun of me.
HIM:"HEY IT'S UGLY GIRL!!! GODDMMT! Why are you so ugly!!?!?"
ME:"I'm not ugly. JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!!!"
HIM: *he gets 4 inches close to my face* "Why should we?"
ME: "Well, if you think I'm so ugly, why don't you just leave so you don't have to look at me?"
and the night before, i bit my lip really hard and it swelled up on the bottom lip.
HIM: "HEY WHATS ON YOUR LIP?"
ME: "Its-"
HIM: "-EWWW IS THAT HERPES!!?!? OH MY GOD IT'S HERPES!!!"
now they wait for me at the doors they know i'm going through so they can torment me.
i don't feel safe.

i'm constantly looking out for people that hate me.

Please talk to someone; a guidance counselor, teacher, parent, or even your principal.
Those boys can get in a lot of trouble for this, with the police. They're harassing you.
Don't listen to them. What theyre saying probably isnt even true. Don't let them know it bothers you either, theyre only doing it to make you upset or angry.
I would suggest talking to someone in your school about this. Tell them that you don't feel safe at school anymore because of these boys that are harassing you. Tell them the names of the boys and show them the binder that they wrote on.
Don't let them see you down and feel better!

okay so every year me and my friends do a gift exchange. idk what to get them! i wanna be cheap b/c there is alot of them like around 20 25 $ we are in 8th grade. i asked one of them how much money she spent on me and the said she doesn't know and that its not a good gift but its touchingso yeha what should i get her
You could get them each a few lip glosses or nail polishes.
I'm also in a gift exchange with my friends and we all agreed to only get eachother lip gloss so we wouldn't spend as much.
Talk about how much you spend, maybe you can all agree on spending 10 dollars on each person or something.
Gift cards are nice too - Dunkin Donuts, Hollister, American Eagle, Starbucks.
If all else fails you could always make them something. Maybe you could gather a bunch of pictures of you both and make a photo album. Or you could do something with inside jokes.

My parents are overprotective. They won't let me go places when there are gonna be boys there. You need to show your parents that you're responsible and mature. Make sure they know that you can be trusted. If you have a cell phone, make sure it is always turned on. Let them know where you're going and whos going to be there. If you'd like to hang out with boys, ask your parents if you can have one of your friends over thats a boy and tell them that they can shaperone. Hope I helped!

ima freshman. ok so i had drill team tryouts and i made it! i was really happy. but i also have Junior varsity Cheerleading tryouts in march. Ive been doing cheerleading for 4 years and i guess its ok. i cant do both at the same time though. Should I still tryout for Cheerleading? or stay with drill team? both is a big deal. I don't really like the idea of dropping dance team for cheerleading cause taht means the people who didnt make it could have taken my spot.
I kinda wanna be a Drill team member cause they dance at varsity Football games, and Jv Cheerleading is only JV Football games. But JV is a bigger deal cause its only 10 people who get picked and Drill team is 20 freshmans.

hey, i think i need a bit of guidance, i just had my first heartbreak.
i know it will take time, i know what ive gotta do (girl nights, erase his number and so on) its not that part that worries me.. it's the actual letting go. what i mean is, that moment when i finally accept that it's over, nothing worth fighting for, the moment i stop thinking "maybe we'll meet one day in the future and end up together anyways" the moment i truly accept that he'll no longer be in my life.. yeah, that moment is the one i fear. Talk to your parents about trying to meet up with him, like meet him in the middle and hang out for a while.

OK so a few weeks ago I had sex with this guy and we didnt use a condom. yes i know. Well, if you started your period and it's not late then you're not pregnant. You could have either an ulcer or a sore muscle. The best way to find out would be to see a doctor. Your cramps could also feel differently because of stress. Orr, you could be coming down with a stomach flu or something? You could straighten it. Or, dryer sheets work great on frizzy hair. As wierd as it sounds, rubbing a dryer sheet on your hair gets rid of frizzies and static electricity. You could also use them on a skirt that's staticky. Those ideas work for me, so hopefully it will help you!
