I am a 35 year old musician/composer/performer who currently resides in Los Angeles. I write soundtrack/rock/western and blues original tunes. I moved to Los Angeles 4 years ago to continue with musical group which was originally formed in Delaware in 1994. The band is still together and we have performed many times around the east and west coast as well as doing a random 2 week tour every 8 months. We have a fairly nice and loyal following and have independently released our own recordings(about 6 different CD's are available) and are now breaking into the realm of soundtracking with a self produced(yes, our own money) film the band is currently working on in Hollywood which is very exciting. Over the years I have become the main member of the group, we do not have a record contract or do not have a record label. Since this art is my passion I have put everything in my life into it. All my $$, time, relationships, and future plans have gone into my love to create for the last 11 years since its inception. I do not make any income with this project and work a part time job here in Los Angeles as a pizza delivery guy to help fund it and its driving me crazy! All I want to do is make a living out of the music I am soooo passionate about and have sacrificed sooo much for. This creative force inside governs my life and I feel it may actually be damaging in the long run to my well being because of feeling of not being completely successful. So what do I do? Tough it out and keep going or decide to throw in the towl? This question is too difficult for me to answer on my own. (link)

A compliment- Your counter is in a good position.
Where you need improvement- On a 56k modem, your site would take too friggin long to load up, your site hurts my eyes, there are no icons on your site, your fishing for compliments with your marquee in the top-left corner, there are ads on your page and no information, your body tag has a background color AND a background image.
Another compliment- The 'crater1' comment tag made me smile!

So a bunch of my friends and I have decided that we don't want to go on our schools' senior trip after graduation. They're going "hiking though the mountains in Europe" (rolls eyes). And as fun as that sounds (I'm so not being sarcastic...), we want to be on our own and not with school chaperones. They duct tape our doors shut at night and we don't have co-ed hotel rooms. So, it's not going to be all that fun. I've been on school trips like that before and I don't care for them.
Now we need to come up with a place to go ourselves. We don't want to go to Europe because; well we've all been there and would rather go somewhere else. We also don't want to go to any sort of beaches. We can kick it at any beach we want during breaks and stuff. So does anyone have any suggestions? We need something exciting and somewhat "educational" (say the parents). Money isn't an issue as long as we can have fun.

Why is it that it only takes a tender theme (a girl and her horse, etc.), some introverted "intelligent" young characters, and a couple of sweet lines to get people to see a movie and get approval from critics? I think of "Bee Season" and "Dreamer." They are all just dumb cliches. (link)

Work, sex, thinking of things to update my website with, communists holding me back, boredom, more sex, and most of all the most addicting game ever, Maple Story. I played that frikin game for like 4 hours a day. But I quit and felt like 'answering questions' so I did! Random spurts of doing things is good!

How do I get a song from QuickTime music player on a xanga ENTRY? Like you can see the thing that lets you pause it and play it and switch to a different part of a song on a specific entry? (link)

hmm, I'm not sure how to make it play with quicktime...but to make any song play on xanga you need to code it.
Try using that code. replace pusic.mp3 with whereever the song is. You need to find someone to host the song too, I use comcast for hosting.
As for the coming in on a specific entry, you need to edit the song to make it do that. I use audacity for audio editing.

Go into photoshop, if you do not have photoshop, steal photoshop.
Make a new image, make it 50 px. by 50 px.
Put whatever crap you want on there
save at as a .gif
For animated icons (animated GIF's), do the same thing above and make a couple pictures or text or whatever you want, then open Easy GIF Animator (If you don't have it, steal it) and import all your pictures into there. Then set the rate and all that good stuff and export it as a gif. Go back into AIM and make it your icon!

Do you go on computers a lot? That can cause your eye-focusing thingey to be messed up. If you do, just focus on things at different lengths from you in a random room or outside or something. If you don't go on the compy a lot, go see an eye doctor!

i just got this virus cuz im an idiot. someone else who had it sent me the link (cuz the virus does that) and it said "is this you?" with a myspace link. and me, being an idiot, i clicked it. i downloaded the "picture" and now i have the virus too. i dont know why, but i'm not sending the links like my friends. but it still messes up AIM and my computer. any advice on how to get rid of it? (i did McAfee Scan.. nothing came up.)

Go to start, run, and type in msconfig
then go to startup and those are all the things that starts when your computer starts. If you don't know what one is, type the process name in google and click the link that comes up. It should tell you what it is. One of those HAS to be the virus.
