i dont have a problem with being addicted
but since you do..ill try and help you out a bit.
basically all you need to do is find something else to do..i go outside and hangout with friends and stuff like that alot more now..and i might spend an hour (at most) a day online when i used to spend like 5 hours straight..

Whenever you feel like going onto the computer, just try not to. give yourself a time limit... hee hee, my perants made me one of two hours...{sniff} go for 2 1/2 hours to 3 hours, it will help! good luck!
hco_babe answered Monday November 21 2005, 9:35 pm: only spend an hour or so on it. then shut it down so you wont even be tempted to get on. then get out of the house and do something so you're not even near one. that way you won't be thinking about it. go out with friends, anything. if you think it's really a problem there is clinics you can go to for computer addiction. = ) [ hco_babe's advice column | Ask hco_babe A Question ]
