okay well for english i have to write a research paper on the book Of Mice and Men and im a little confused on what/how to right it
my too promps are

we have been given 5 days in class to write not cards and get quotes from unrelated sources and im so confused
i believe we have to have 3 "suports" for each topic and atleast 10 quotes total in the paper
(both promps are each a paragraph plus 2 other paragraphs atleast)
Well the two prompts are quite simple to answer. They're your opinions so you can answer however you feel.
I read this book earlier this year and maybe you should see about watching the movie for more information. Take in mind that there are a few of those out there. Also all you have to do for quotes is go to google and type in "Of Mice and Men."

Im not sure what your teacher means by quotes. I was assumuming from critics? go to google and type in "Of Mice and Men reviews."

I've had this tiny bump under my eyelid for a week or so. It's not painful or anything, but when I rub my fingers over my eyelid I can feel it. What could this be? Is it worth getting a doctor to check it out?
I had one of those once, and it was a stye. Its basically another word for a pimple under your eyelid. Mine however, hurt a little but not too much to complain about. Do you have swelling in your eye?? Because if so maybe it is a stye, thats what happened to me. I would visit a doctor just incase if it doesnt get better ::wait a few days maybe::. I just had to buy some stye medication at Stop & Shop and then it downsized quickly. :] HOPE I HELPED
I have always worn my hair in a pony tail. But 3 times out of the week i usually wear it down. It's really cute down but here's the problem, it takes too long. My hair is kinda hard to straighten and i have to wake up extra early to get it right. I need an easy and fast way to have my hair look good for every day. Any suggestions??
Scrunching does'nt take that long, but i personally am not a fan of curly hair anymore. But everyone looks good with straight hair, and yes it does take a long time so what i do is take a shower at night, blowdry it, and then straighten it. Or i just straighten it in the morning. Since you wear your hair up in ponytails, why not trying to scrunch the pony? Or you could take some of your hair at top and just put that up. Sometimes what i do is do that to my hair, but then put it in a bun. I think that when a girl has a side braid in her hair, it looks cute. But the braid cant be tight, just a little loose and it looks good. What type of hair do you have?? Because if you have wavy i would just go with that a time or two; it looks cute. Try this site:

okay so i know this isnt a big deal! but okay so like my old best friend and me where extremly close! and now i have new best friend is seriously like my bestestest friend ever! but i feel bad for my old best firend! i mean where still friends but sometimes i wish we where still the best of friends like we used to be! and i dont know what i should do! should i talk to her about it? or just see if things get better?
I would most deffinately talk to her about it. Maybe she feels the same way, and im sure she has taken notice of your new friend; which probably makes her feel low as if you two arent as close like before. See what she thinks, and try to arrange more time to hangout together. Maybe you could set a day or two a week to hangout outside of school ::that is if you both are in the same school::. But what i think would be nice is if you invited her to hangout with both you and your new best friend. But it is okay to have more than one best friend, though. If you including her in activities; you, her, and your "bestestest" friend could all become really good friends together. If you feel bad for your friend now, you have to step up and take action. Try doing things you used to do together, go places, talk, or just hangout and watch a movie.

Im assuming you saved it to your PC. Hopefully yes, well you need to go to setup on your buddylist and then go to preferences. Then the seventh one down click on "Expressions" then you have three options "clear icon" "set expressions" or "Browse Pc" go to Browse PC, and find your icon you made, click it, press okay, and then its there :].
My mom is making me get braces soon and i think i have a choice of colors. What color would you pick and why?

You mean elastics?? lol. Either silver or gray. Those two mix well with your braces, and dont stick out like yellow or white. If you have anything stuck in your braces, they easily stick out and are more visible. Dont try to mix to seasonal colors, they dont always look good :]. Also i would suggest getting clear elastics, it might make the braces more uninvisible. But im not too sure, because i havent tried those yet. HOPE I HELPED :D

Well what i do is just simply tell myself that its almost finished. But i know from experience, that does not always work. If youre one of those people who can tolerate music or the tv at the same time as you do work, then id suggest that. If not, do the most hardest work first, than that way when your all finished with the most complex, you can do the simple things last. When im in a bad mood, i listen to music, and sometimes i write my stories. :] I hope i helped

It shouldnt matter what others think, if you feel your mature enough, then it should be you who has the say in it. Making out isnt that bad, but it shouldnt be taken for granted. At least make sure you truly do like your partner and such. And if it does lead to sex, hypothetically speaking, just make sure your stable enough for it and are 100% ready. :]

Hey guys. I'm Kayla and I'm in eighth grade. I will be going to Deer Park High School North Campus next year in ninth grade and I am so nervous! Four different junior highs will be joined into one school next year and I will meet a lot more people but I'm still nervous. What if they don't accept me? What if no one likes me? What about lunch? Where will I sit? I'm asking myself all these questions and it's making me even more nervous than ever! There is exactly 166 days until my first freshman day of high school and I'm already freaking. What about when I get up to 1 day before? I'm going to puke!!! I'm scared of getting lost but I'm more scared of the people. People are mean these days. Some people I don't even know make me feel like I have something to hide, like I'm ugly or something. A lot of people SAY I'm pretty but I don't believe them because of what people have said in the past. I'm afraid it will get worse. These are some positive things about my high school:
1. We can chew gum... sometimes
2. We don't have to have our shirts tucked in
3. We can wear hoodies
4. We get tall lockers so nobody is below or above me
5. We can wear tank tops
6. I have ran out of positive things
Here are some negative things about DPHS:
1. It's HUGE!
2. Four different junior highs will be joining into one and I will barely know anyone
3. I don't know what electives to take
4. I know I'll get lost which is a scary thing
5. I have no idea what credits are for and what we have to get them
6. The people are probably going to be rude
7. I won't know barely anyone in any of my classes
8. I'm so nervous I'm going to puke on my first day.
There... out of all those things, I'm more scared of the people... like I said, I have no clue if I will be accepted or not...

WOAAAAAH. I was just like this when it was my first day (not as bad) but its really no big deal. Im a freshman now and i can tell you from experience High School isnt as bad as you think. Everyone thinks the same thing on the 1st day, but if you just walk up to someone and say hi im Kayla, they arent going to ditch you. Yes, there are going to be some who wont accept you, but theres going to be others who will. Im positive people will like you, everyone makes friends, and its not that hard as it seems. You most likely will get lost, but its funny :]. Everyone gets lost so its not like youre the only one, and usually your school will have an orientation, and hand you your schedules and allow you to look for your classes. Lunch isnt as bad as people make it come off. Most likely, you will know at least one person in there, all you have to do is look around. Other people will be looking for their friends too, and if you just dont want to look sit at a table. Chances are some person will ask you if they can sit with you, or if you want to sit with them. Many people really arent that rude about that stuff, some are but they are just jerks. Sometimes you have to make the first move in approaching someone, other people are feeling the same way and thinking the same things, just talk to them. On the first day if you dont know anyone, when youre in class just talk to someone sitting near you, and be like HEY.. I like your socks.. something like that. It wont be no different that any other day. On the first day, upperclass man will most deffinately call you freshmeat. But dont let that get to you, if they see that it bothers you they will continue the annoyance, their just words. For electives take something you like. Maybe chorus, graphic arts, art, all those types. For credits i know in my school they are how many points you can get in one class and you have to have a certain amount by the time of 10th grade to pass. You get them unless you fail the class. DO NOT worry about people being rude, if they are rude to you just dont bother with them; their immature. High School are the best years of your life, and you cant let those nerves get in the way. Everything will be alright, i promise. :] Dont worry and if you need anything just leave one in my inbox.

The New episodes dont usually come out until late spring. Im assuming june, because thats when they always do since ive been watching Degrassi. Which has been since season 1 so yeah. They usually come every 4 months with a break in-between 2. They skipped february because this is the last season so they need to save all their episode :[. Just stay tuned for previews. They should be showing in a few months, maybe less.

okay well i have old beanie baby and pokemon cards left from about 8 years ago when they were very popular and now i no longer want them. i want to sell them on ebay but am i better off selling them now or waiting a few years. is the value of them going to go up or down in the next 5, 10, 20 years?
Well it depends. The pokemon cards arent going to get you much, because their basically worth nothing ::unless theres like someone obsessed with acquiring everyone of them:: so i would just sell it now, because nobody is going to want them in the next 5 or so years. However, beanie babies are continuing to be sold, so you never know how that would work out. I guess it depends on the beanie baby, if its like some goose from 1999 then most likely it wont sell, but if it was like the first beanie baby or a collectors one, then i guess you could possible get some money on it. Im not too sure if you should save that for the future or just sell it now, if its a wicked good one, i would personally save it for later time, but if not just go ahead and sell it. :] hope i helped
I just got MSN messanger, (the new version) and i was talking to someone about something i shouldn't have. is there ANY way that any one, even i, could find conversations i had. There was this thing that came up saying "do you want your conversations saved" and i said no but just in case i messed up. Where would i find the conversations anyway?

It isnt possible for them to be saved if you had pressed the "No do not save my conversation" button. I dont think you can find them anymore, their long gone. :]

We already have one?. Under the "get advice" section that is. Unless you meant like a actualy chatroom, but that wouldnt work out because to make chatrooms you have to be on AOL, and people with AIM wouldnt be able to get in them or something. But we do have one on this site, so yeah. :]

I would go for it. The least you could do was ask and him say no. Since you have a lot in common, maybe you could ask him out on a date before asking him to go out. Unless that is, youve known each other for a long time and such. But if you like him and you really want to be with him, hell just go for it. Being a freshman doesnt mean you cant date a senior. Its funny because your really only like 2 years apart, but really it seems like so much more because of the grade levels. Since you have a lot in common just go for it, and if he says no, then you guys just werent meant to be. :o)

I just read that play this school year. Well theres more than one person whom can be blamed. Firstly, both the Montagues and Capulets, because of their families fueding, it caused the two to run off and get married. Thats how it all began to happen. Or you could blame the Obvious Romeo and Juliet. But they were just two young kids, who thought they were in love and knew their families would not agree. I somehow recall Friar Lawrence, being said maybe to blame, because it was his plan for juliet to drink the potion and such. Or it could be Balthasar. Balthasar, was supposed to bring the letter informing of what Juliet was doing and such, but he did not make it in time, i believe their was an incident with his horse and so he didnt make it. In class we discussed how it could even be romeos own fault for not taking juliets appearance seriously. When he found her "dead" she had rosey cheeks and bright pink lips but never thought to mind that if she were dead, she would look very dull and dim. Its really a matter of opinion in my mind. :0) HOPE I HELPED
