you can put scotch tape or fingernail polish on them...but the spray on benedryl in the stores really works best.

i feel like im the only person my age that doesnt have a boyfriend. im 14/f and it feels like everyone around me is together. because all year this year ive heard oh my gosh my boyfriend this and oh my gosh my boyfriend that and i was lookin' around and everyone was like holding hands and stuff. i have a few friends who dont have bf's and we feel like we are the only ones.... I'm 14/f and i don't have a boyfriend either. and i'm HAPPY! when i look around, i don't see happy couples. i see people who are dating just for the sake of dating. and that only leads to heartbreak! the point of boyfriends and girlfriends and dating is to find the person that you want to spend the rest of your life with. chances are, that's not going to happen at 14. just wait a while! the right guy will come along. you shouldn't have to work extra hard to get a guy to like you. if he is worth it, he'll be able to see that you're great without you having to flirt or dress extra sexy or wear a ton of makeup.

how is olivia using her? olivia started going out with a single guy. it's the corey guy's fault for not telling your best friend that they were broken up. it's his fault for breaking both of their hearts. you shouldn't take it out on olivia because you are feeling neglected by your friend. olivia and your best friend are just sharing the same feelings right now, and they can comfort each other better than you would be able to. i'm sorry if that sounds kinda mean, but it's true. and please don't yell at me just because that isn't what you want to hear. soon enough, your friend will come back to being your best friend. she's just a little hurt right now.

I'm in Middle School and every1 is wearing makeup and long earrings! my mom won't let me but sometimes i sneak out of the house with some eyeshadow on. and i can't wear hoops ( even small 1's!) on any day except tuesday when we have chapel. what should i do?? (link)

you shouldn't sneak around behind your mom's back. you're going to be allowed to soon enough. your mom just doesn't want you growing up too fast. and you're not the only one who isn't wearing makeup! and makeup is just a pain in the butt to put on every day anyway.

I work part time at a Baptist church and like, and am liked by, all the members and pastor. I do babysitting and custodial. They have not pressured me to become a member, but they often invite me to sit in on their bible study and church service, if there are no children. I have sat in on only one service and frequently must sit in on the bible studies, which fly in the face of my own beliefs. I just sit there and smile politely. Recently, I was babysitting in the nursery and they brought around their Baptist Lord's Supper for me to partake. I said 'No thank you,' because I am Catholic. To me, their 'communion' is a farce. I think the pastor, although friendly, suggested the 'communion' be brought to me; he is a former Catholic, now a Baptist minister, and I think it secretly perturbs him that I do not wish to follow in his footsteps. How can I politely but firmly discourage such practice? Saying no thank you seems to have no effect!

both baptism and catholisism (sp?) is a part of christianity! you just follow different rules. politely explain to him that you feel that him asking you to partake in these activities interferes with how you were brought up. (or how you worship or w/e) let him know that it seems as if he's trying to convert you to baptist when you are very happy being catholic.

Is it normal for sunburns to itch? I was just wondering because I got burnt on my lower back, my upper arms, and my chest, and lately they've been itchin a whole lot. Last night I had to take benadryl (sp?) just to fall asleep, also I think I burnt my thighs too because they itch like mad.
Do you think the sunburn in the reason that I'm so friggin itchy? If not, what do you think is? And either way, how can I stop the itching???? Or is benadryl (sp?) the only way.
I know this is a weird question, but the itching just won't go away. Thanks in advance. (link)

yes, it is normal for them to itch, but DONT SCRATCH! that is how you begin to peel! you could use benadryl, but aloe ointment or aloe gel works really well, too. (it's a green gel that comes in a cool looking bottle) it works best if you keep it in the refrigerator.

Okay, i've just decided to try tennis, but i have friken clue of how the hell to play it. lol I keep trying to find out things online, and it's telling me things about how u need 4 points to win a game, 6 games to win a set, and 2 sets to win a match, but i have no clue what they mean by "game" "set" or "match", I dont know what they are!!lol I also don't know how you get scored on this. If anyone would like to take the time and explain to me thoroughly and define these 'terms' to me i will love you!!!!

one person starts out by serving, and they must serve to the diagonal square on the court. (it's broken up into 4 equal parts) the other player must hit the ball back after one bounce. if it hits the line, or goes out of bounds, (outside of the line) then the other person recieves one point. when you have no points and the other person has some, your score is "love". after the person scores their point, the score would now be "one;love". you serve, then the other person serves. (or the other way around) when one person has the right amount of points, it has been one game. (i think you need 7 points to win, not 4) you continue this until you have played 6 games. that is a set. you do this again for the next set.
to win a set, you must win the most amount of games. if it is a tie, then you have a tiebreaker. when you have played 2 sets, whoever won them both is the winner. if there is a tie again, you play one more game.

So I have the worst stomache in the history of man. Now, thinking back to elementary school, the Nurse always recommended a saltine cracker or two. QUESTION IS: WHY was that? Was is something SPECIFIC about the CRACKER? And is there any other food the average household stocks that can beat this intense pain? ok this is so embarssing but ok well i got my period at school and the nurse only had these gay fat dyper thingys and she put one on me and since like she gave me this stuff to make the blood come out faster it just started pooring out and like i had like 8 dypers for it to not leak through and i couldnt get it off and she gave me this other stuff and it gave you diareeah and like everyone could tell i was wearing dypers now they call me dyper diahreeah butt. and its really embarrsing. i dont know what to do. please help.and the dypers made me look like i had a huge but and like they were really gay and im so terrified. they made my butt like 1 ft and 8 inches bigger than it normally is. please help! how the hell are we supposed to help? just don't go to the nurse for help anymore! it's over! what are you gonna do? i'm doubting that anyone will be able to make you feel better without lieing. no, this doesn't happen to everyone. your nurse is obviously psycotic if she's going to give you things that will give you diahreah and make your period heavier. yes, it is sad that this had to happen to you, but how is anyone supposed to help?

recently my friend and I have been stealing a lot. it's like every store we go to, we almost always steal atleast 1 thing. we steal simple things, like make up, food, skin care products... when she first told me that she stole things with her friend a few months ago, I laughed at the idea and I couldn't believe they were so.. bad. but when I saw them in action, I realized how easy it was. I only steal when I'm with that friend, and even though now I'm better than her at doin it, I still feel extreme guilt sometimes. she doesn't feel any regrets at all. I kno I should stop, but I just wanna kno if any of you have stolen things and have gotten caught doing it, and what were the concequences. I will stop eventually... but it's really fun and easy. if my parents even found out, they would literally disown me (link)

that's horrible! thou shalt not steal! if you get caught, you will get into a LOT of trouble. even if it's something cheap. my friend stole a 5 dollar item and got caught. even though it was so cheap, she had to go to a 4 hour class, about community crap, go to court, and do 100 hours of community service! all over some 5 dollar toy! it's not something to be bragging about, and this doesn't sound like the kind of person anyone should be hanging out with!

I get sick very often. If something is "going around" i KNOW i will catch it. Is there anything i can do or take (like maybe vitamins or something) to help my imune system so i wont get sick so often?
