Three months ago, I was taken into state custody because my mom has a drinking problem. The people that took me and my two younger sisters in are my best friends parents. So now I'm living with my best friend and her family in this tiny house. The big problem is that I hate her mom, she is controlling, rude, and ignorant. A lot of the reason why I hate it here now is because of her. She makes me feel uncomfortable. I am 17/f what can I do? (link)

Well, try talking to her, to see why you and her have a difficult relationship. No one is perfect we all come with flaws, so... i would say talk to her. Hate is just a strong word, she is the mother of your best friend, so you have to respect her in some sense, even though it can be very difficult. So my suggestion, is that you should talk to her, then you'll know for a fact where you stand and where she stands,

So for the past 8 months I've been talking this guy on twitter. We used to roleplay as a fake couple. Well five months into talking with eachother I confessed I've grown feelings for him. He admitted the same to me. Then we started talking about real life stuff like our friends, family, school, and our past. Everyday we would talk about the most random things. Soon its been 6 months and we start saying "I love you." And I know the internet is never safe because you dont really see the person behind the screen and it could be some online predator but something felt right. I mean after seven months why hasn't he made a move if he is an "online predator?" He never asked me about my town or school or my last name. He straight up told me everything but never asked me once. So I told him everything and he put "Why did you tell me that? You didnt have to." sooo yeah. He always talks to me about school and homework and how he took his best friend to the dance for fun. And he always asks me to help with his math homework (lol) and I always do. I mean if this guy is a "predator" he's really good and sneaky and patient to meet me. I told my mom about this cause I thought she should know and she wasnt to happy about it. After everything I told her she is still uncertain..but I told Forest,the boy, that my mom knows and he did nothing...wouldn't he be scared and stop talking to me if he know my parents know?
I want to meet Forest cause its killing me inside, I live in Iowa and he lives in California. She says she will believe this when she meets him in real life and well I dont blame her. But how can I convince my mom to get us to meet him?

Well, on the internet, anyone can be anybody. Its hard to know who you can trust. You have to be sure this is what you want. If it is, well, try to make contact but if you decided to make contact don't go aslone go with a friend just incase the person isnt whom they appear to be.

I am a junior in high school and a friend I have known since 1st grade has taken his life Monday night. Everyone believes it is due to bullying. Yet, my school is not doing any thing about it. Nothing. That makes me so incredibly mad. That just makes it look like it's okay for people to be bullied and have someone take their life. These past few days have been hard and the situation at school with no actions being taken is making it an incredible amount more hard. I can't get the picture of his helpless body hanging there in his closet.. I want to do something for him. I want to do a candle light service or make a memorial somewhere so the people that bullied him can actually admit that they messed up and that this boy was loved. He has put a smile on my face numerous times through out my 11 years of school with him and right now I just want to put a smile on his face in Heaven. How do I go about doing this? Do I have to go through my school to have a candlelit service? Do I need a permit to build a memorial for him? I know I am going to need a lot of people to help and I'm sure I can find quite a few people whose lives he blessed. Just help me out with what I can do for him. Thank you so much. (link)

Well, the first thing you have to do is to realise why he took his life. Yes, bullying is real in some place more than others. You could have a get together, where his closest friends and family memebers are, to celebrate his life and keep his legacy alive, in some way.

ok so at my school we have this time to howl this that every other wednesday after 7th period we go to another class and make up tests or study or just stay in ur 7th period class. and thats what i alwayus do. so theres this kid kenny who goes there 2. hes in 7th grade but i dont mind the age diff. but he was flirting and then he asked me oout that night on facebook. but i had to say no because i had a boyfriend this year and i broke up with him because he was touching other girls butts in front of me and ya i dont like tat. but my parents think i made a mistake by breakin gup with him. so i really like kenny and i asked my parents if i could go out with him and they said show us a pic and i showed them his facebook profile and they asked if i was sick. they think hes the ugliest guy on the planet. but we both really want to go out with each other wat should i do? an di cant hide it from my parents because if htey ever find out ill lose everything o love in life. Why is it that everyone thinks interracial unions are a end to racism? I'm a Morrocan, Brazilian mix and i always get looked at strangely for going with a girl of my own culture.I just feel like although love should be colorblind and people say it is, we as humans look at appearances first and unfortunately exoticism is deemed as perfect while mono-race is just plain and boring? what do I do? Well, everywhere you go there is some kind of racism. You have to turn a bad experience into a good one. Well, i am not white, so i do get starred at occasionally, but i have to look past that, because, true beauty is found within. People, well,alot of people need reminding of that.

Hello i currently have a credit card through capital one. I do pay off my credit card bills in full every month, and i'm still trying to build my credit. I was wanting a credit card for emergencies basically. A "just in case thing" other credit card companies have denied me saying i didnt have enough credit. I was curious if i could apply for a different type of credit card through the same company? If so how do i go about doing so? Thanks in advance!

Ok so I have been freaking out about what I "want to be when I grow up" for a long time since I'm a junior in highschool now. Well recently, I've finally decided I want to be an art teacher, preferably at the highschool level. I asked my art teacher what she majored in during college and she said "art education" but I'm kind of afraid that if I limit it to just "art" education then there wont be any schools that need an art teacher...so I did some research and found out that at some schools you can double up and major in both "art" and "general education". It sounds like that might be better in case I cant find any specificly art jobs...right? I don't really know where to go from here I guess, but I know I need to be doing stuff to get ready for a career right now. So, any advice? (link)

I am dating this one girl and have been for like 2 years now. She's been a good girl and I love her a lot. The problem is that when we first had sex like 6 months into the relationship she told me she was a virgin. It was and is important to me. And then today I was kidding around with her about she ended up saying she had gave a few guys head and had anal once or twice before me and her got together. Now to me that means she wasn't a complete virgin and it makes me really upset. Im so hurt. I really don't know what to do. I was a virgin before her and it was important to me that she be one too. I know I can't change her past but she flat out lied to me. She knew what I meant by asking if she was a virgin and she kept it from me. This seems like it really hurt you. It would hurt me if someone lied to me about Virginity. I would say that you should end your relationship, isnt she worth the risk ? You should really think about it, as you said you can't get over of this lie, half of me thinks if she lied about being a 100% virgin, what else is she keeping from you ? I would say have a mature one-2-one conversation, try to break the wall that she has there. To be honest Honest is the best policy, but she might have thought if she was honest with you, you might reject her.

I am trying to eat healthier and my mom made tacos today and I was thinking that maybe tacos are actually healthy for you to eat because they have stuff like cheese, meat (hamburger or chicken), lettuce, and tomatoes inside a thing tortilla thing. The best advice i can give you is not to eat too much at once. Every food except water has calories, and its how you balance your diet that works. Try reducing your calorie intake of tacos. If not, try eating tacos, once in a while preferably like once a week, two times.

My dad was talking to me about learning a musical instrument. He is really big into music and learned to play all sorts of instruments while he was growing up. He said it's really helped him "grow as a person" and that he'd be willing to buy me an instrument if I was interested. The only instrument I can think of to play is the guitar. For those of you who already play the guitar, do you think I should learn, too? I mean, is it really that enjoyable and helpful in life or is my dad a little crazy? :P (link)

To be honest with you, i am actually learning two instruments the Violin & the Piano. Its very rewarding. It could open so much doors for you. Guitar is a very interesting Instrumen. If you want to learn an instruments, its advisable to learn the basics and also music sheets. Take it a day at a time.

Try sit ups and my sister says that one of the way to lose tummy weight is to run. So take it easy, don't eat too much junk food, try to balance your diet.

The best advice i can give you is to reduce your portions. Like reduce your Calorie intake, eat more fruits and vegetables and bear in mind that most food have calories and it is how you can balance your diet.
