Question Posted Wednesday October 27 2010, 3:26 pm

Three months ago, I was taken into state custody because my mom has a drinking problem. The people that took me and my two younger sisters in are my best friends parents. So now I'm living with my best friend and her family in this tiny house. The big problem is that I hate her mom, she is controlling, rude, and ignorant. A lot of the reason why I hate it here now is because of her. She makes me feel uncomfortable. I am 17/f what can I do?

Well, try talking to her, to see why you and her have a difficult relationship. No one is perfect we all come with flaws, so... i would say talk to her. Hate is just a strong word, she is the mother of your best friend, so you have to respect her in some sense, even though it can be very difficult. So my suggestion, is that you should talk to her, then you'll know for a fact where you stand and where she stands,

Bye.
