i cant tell you exactly because i dont know what state u live in but if u go to yahoo and type in megan's law and your state you should find the megan's law site. Megan's law was created so that people know if there is pedophiles living in their neighborhood or working where they do and things like that.

So I'm going to apply for Fafsa because i really need money for college, and i thought that you didnt have to pay them back, but now I hear that you do??? how does that work?

FAFSA stands for free application for federal student aid. When you submit a FAFSA you are applying for grants and things like that which you generally do not have to pay back. They determine how much you can get by your families income. So if your family doesnt have much money, like your saying they dont, then you should get a nice amount of financial aid. Now it also depends on what kind of school your going to. If your going to a private school that costs $40,000 a year you might only get $10,000 which would present a problem for you. But if your doing to a state university or community college your tuition could be for the most part paid for. Either way fill it out and submit it asap because its first come first serve and any help is better than none.
My friend told me that she is gay and I do not want to be friends with her anymore. It's not that I don't like her as a person but I cannot grasp the fact that she has become a lesbian. Just months ago she was dating men and now she is claiming homosexuality. I don't like it and the entire thing makes me uncomfortable. I'm trying to avoid her now more than ever since she has confessed her sexuality to me and I feel that I need to just tell her to her face why I no longer have interest in our friendship. How should I tell her? What should I say? I don't want to come off as cruel by saying, "You're a homosexual and that makes me too uncomfortable to continue a friendship with you," but at the same time I think it sounds most appropriate because it is the truth.
I know it isn't fair of me to not tell her why I have been avoiding contact with her. I know I should tell her but I'm not sure how I should go about this. I was thinking a neutral setting would be most appropriate but I don't want to embarrass her if she gets upset in some form.
Does anyone have experience with this or any ideas of how I should handle this matter? Thank you.
I agree one million percent with everything everyone else said. Why are you uncomfortable with her being a lesbian? It doesnt affect you. Shes not telling you shes in love with you nor hitting on you. Shes living her life and making herself happy. There is absolutely no reason for you to be so closed minded.
The population of homosexuals is growing by the minute. And its not because its now the "cool" thing to do. Its because its now becoming more acceptable then it ever was so people are becoming more comfortable with coming out. And its people like you that are ruining it.
Do what ever you want to do but if you drop this girl as a friend because she came out that shes a lesbian, then YOU will be the one missing out. Not her. She will be better off.
I've had my computer for a little while now, but it always has worked just fine. I've had it for like 8 years? It works well, and I don't know, sometimes its a tiny bit slow, but its never that big of a deal.
Well, anyway.. i will be right in the middle of something, anything, & it will just shut off. like the tower will turn off. & its really hot. this happened 3 times today, and its been happening a lot lately.
so my question is.. is this bad? is there any way to fix this? will i need to buy a new computer soon...

Im not a computer expert or anything like that but this used to happen to my computer at work. Apparently there are fans in computer and the fans werent turning on so it was getting to hot and turning off. Maybe it could be that. Or even just try keeping your computer off when your not using it.
My boyfriend is thinking about getting another dog, and if it's a female, and him and I were thinking about the name Sasha.
Sasha was also the name of my cat who died a few years ago. My mother says it's bad luck to name animals after another but I think it's sort of an honor, and I love the name. Is it heartless to do that?
As long as it doesnt upset you or anything like that, then there is nothign wrong with it. There are people that name new pets after past pets in honor of them. And it is 2 different animals.. a dog and a cat. If you like the name I say go for it!

Ok, I'll be turning 16 in March. I know it's a while away, but I already have my permit and I'm planning on getting a hardship. So, I've been kindof thinking about getting a car lately. The thing is, I hardly know anything about cars haha. I know it'll most likely be a used car because 1) It won't be as much of a big deal if I get a dink in it as it would be if it was brand new and 2) I want to help pay for it, but I don't want it to be extremely expensive, for the sake of myself and my parents. So, my question is, what kind of car would you suggest? I'm mostly interested in it's safety features, but I don't want it to be like a minivan or something that's too big for what I'll be using it for. I was thinking about a VMW Beetle, just because I've always loved their unique bodies, but I haven't checked the safety features on it yet. I really don't care about anything like heated seats or sunroofs or whatever. So yeah, suggestions please? Thanks SO much :)
I have had many different cars including a pontiac grand am, a chevy corsica, a chevy cavalier, a dodge avenger, and a toyota corolla.
The only car I never had problems with was the toyota corolla. and it wasnt even brand new or anything. Im fact it was the oldest of all the cars ive owned.
Therefore I suggest a toyota.

I live in PA and I can tell you that you are not of legal age to work yet. All that you can do is private side jobs like yard work, babysitting, washing cars, or dog walking. Otherwise you will have to wait until your 15.

It didnt work at all for me. I have used alot of other things from department stores like wal-mart that have worked better.
Clean and Clear has a kit kind of like ProActiv. I think its the clean and clear advantage kit or something like that. Its silver bottles with purple lids. That worked soooooo much better for me than ProActiv and is about half the price. Im sure everyone is differnet tho because I know people who swear by Proactiv.

The only way its too soon is if its too soon for you. Im sure he wont mind. Its not like your having sex. Its just flirting and becoming closer. When you guys are at the movies, sit next to him, put your arm through his, hold his hand, lean on him, all that good stuff. And keep it up while your walking out of the movie. Stay close to him , keep your arm thru his, pull him close to you when you guys are walking. See how he acts. I would even think about kissing him on the cheek at the end of the night. Sometimes you hafta go after what you want ya know?? He might be too shy or self conscious to make a move. He may be afraid that you dont like him like that even tho your making it obvious that you do. Guys are dumb sometimes haha. I got a new kitten while I already had another cat. She is normally a very sweet girl, and I know that cats don't adapt well to newcoming kittens in the house. I've heard they get the feeling they're being replaced or not getting enough attention.
I've been sure to give her enough attention, I've invited her into my room while the kitten was here (he can't leave my room yet). I've petted her, then as soon as she saw the kitten, she freaked out, hissed and as I tried to comfort her, she scratched me.
I don't understand why she won't adapt; she's been given good attention and is allowed to be in my room - but I don't understand why she's being so bitchy about this to me when I'm trying to comfort her .. maybe it's just that cats don't even realize it?
How much longer may this adaption take? Or may she never like the kitten?
Its just their instinct. Usually cats will adapt with time. If she doesnt, its okay, you will just have to spend seperate time with each of them. Its not like they are going to be fighting to at each others throats or anything, they will just keep their distance. I dont know how long its been since you got the new kitten but give it a few more weeks and she will probably come around. I have never had a cat that didnt adjust. Good Luck!
I know people always say you can love one person, then move on and love another person. I'm not sure how to do that though. What was it like for you (whoever decides to answer this question) when you moved on to another person, and fell in love with them? Did you learn anything new? Do you regret leaving the person you loved before that person? Any advantages, disadvantages? ..Any pointers to help me? .. Any advice at all would be appreciated. Thanks!
I believe that yes, you can move from one love to another. But I believe that no matter how many people come and go in your life that you will fall in love with, there will be that one that is your true love. Some people are able to spend the rest of their lives with that person and other dont and then that person is considered the "lost love".
When I was 14 I started dating a guy who was my best friend. We stayed together for 3+ yrs and had an awesome relationship. But around the 3 yr mark of being with him I started developing feelings for a coworker of mine and left my boyfriend for this new guy. I went back and forth between the 2 of them for about 6 months because my exboyfriend was faithfully fighting to get me back. But I resisted and stayed with the new guy. I did love the new guy and I thought I did alot more at the moment then I realize now. I stayed with that guy for about 10 months before we split. Now that its years after the fact, I realized I never loved that guy the way I loved my ex. My ex (the one I was w/ for 3 yrs) is like my lost love. I cant help but compare everyone to him. I will never be with him again and I accepted that a long time ago but I will always wonder "what if" and I will care for him and have love for him till the day I die. I still to this day do not know why I left him for the other guy, or even what I saw in the other guy. Not that there was anything wrong with him, we had a fine relationship and it ended on decent terms but looking back I just dont get it.
Its not necessarily that I regret anything because if all wouldnt have happened I wouldnt have the life I have today. I jsut wonder what life I would have had because Im curious.
It definately is tough going from one love right to another because its hard not to compare and when your used to a certain person and their personality and how they react and do things, its weird switching to a totally different person with a totally different personality. It takes some getting used to. And sometimes you will regret. Its just somehting that you learn with time. Its definately not something you can prepare yourself for because you never know what will happen and you cant control your feelings. My best advice for you is dont just act on the moment. Think everything thru and be fair. Try your best not to compare and be open minded.

I met this guy in eighth grade and we became really good friends. We had a couple classes together. Unfortunately, when he told me he liked me the summer after eighth grade (I had liked him the first half of eighth grade whereas he liked me the second half), nothing came to be out of it since this other guy liked me at the same time, and I didn't want to hurt the other guy since he was my friend, as well. Although I don't regret making the decision that I did, I definitely have strong feelings for him again after two years; maybe it's better now than two summers ago since recently, we've discovered that we have a lot in common, and we connect better than we have ever before. We've hung out a few times this summer with our mutual friends. I leaned on his shoulder as we lay watching the fireworks on July 4th, and held onto his arm during a movie we watched together. The most memorable time with him was a couple days ago when we watched another movie, and I held onto his arm, just as I had before. In return, he put his hand on my knee. Slowly, though, he reached for my hand and interlocked fingers with me (I read online that that's a signal that he wants to be serious with you), and kept and smiling the whole time. He has complimented me before and helped me with troubles with another recent past crush (the getting over the last guy resparked my interest in this guy), saying that normal guys don't pass up girls as funny, smart, and attractive as I am. My worry is that he wouldn't ask me out again and waste time, especially since that awkwardness a few years back. I'm not ready to tell him I like him just yet, though. What do you think of the situation? Do you think anything will come to be out of it, or am I wasting my time just like on my last crush? I feel like I'm making it pretty obvious I'm interested without being pushy or forward, but is there something that I'm doing wrong or should be doing more / less of?
He is showing you that he has feelings for you in a gentlemanly way. He isnt being to pushy or forward which shows he respects you. Just like your unsure of how he feels, he may be unsure of how you feel so that could be why hes not actually saying anything. I think that you should definately take the next step. I dont know if you guys text or anything like that but if you do you could say something in a text that shows him that you like him or are thinking about him or just be more flirty. But dont let him slip away this time. This guy sounds like a keeper. Good Luck!

I definately say darker and straighter. I think it brings out your features more than the other 2 styles and fits your face the best. If not that, then maybe dark and curly? The curlier wasnt that bad I just didnt like the color that much on your. Whatever you decide to do I think you should go with darker in color. It makes your eyes pop!
I sold a friend a car about two years ago which was financed. I then last year bought a car from him and still owe him $1800.00. Last year, he was driving the car and overheated it. the repair was going to cost $4000. he did not have the money. So I said my credit to ruined anyway why don't we just let the car go back to the bank. Didn't here form him for a while. Then this april he said the garage he took it to would buy the car for $2500 and give him check in my name. The guy gave him the check and I sent the guy a bill of sale saying once the check was deposited in my account within 30 days I would send the title after I paid off the bank. we had not made payments on it for months, but the bank said we could pay it off instead of the $4300 owed for $2900. For months I tried to get the check from my friend. He kept putting it off. Now, this week he says he deposited the check, that his wife wrote a bunch of bad checks and the money is gone.
Any ideas how to clean this mess up. The bank is expecting the money, i still owe him $1800, the mechanic has been expecting the title, my friend now owes that guy $2500, I am sure he has put a mechanics lien on the car, I didn't authorize any repairs on it. If I find the car, I could tell the bank, but they will take it back and auction it off, and still there will be the mechanics deal.

My question is, if the check that garage gave your friend was in your name, then how did he deposit it? You would have had to sign the check over to him and if you didnt then he must have commited forgery which is illegal. So first step is check on that and if he did forge your name, take him to court. Secondly, if he took the check that was valued at $2500, how do you still owe him $1800? He should now owe you the $700 difference. Your story is a little confusing because there is so much going on. i just got a cellphone in march, and ive never had any trouble with prank callers or anything. but within the past few days ive had some new numbers call my cellphone but it was always when i wasnt near it so i didnt get to take the call.
tonight i answered and it sounded like a drunk old man. he kept saying, "hello? can you hear me?" and i just told him i thought he had the wrong number so he hung up. but the other person called when i wasnt near the phone.
i dont know, basically im a little freaked out. i worry so much, but it just scares me when random drunk old men call my cellphone at 11:15 at night.
am i worrying over nothing?
Dont worry about it. People could be dialing the wrong number or someone else may have had your cell phone number previous to you. (They kind of recycle cell phone numbers). Just answer the calls whenever your near your phone and tell them they have the wrong number. If it continues and gets to irritating to handle, call your cell phone provider and tell them random people keep calling you and you would like your number changed.
For my tattoo, I'd like piano keys across my shoulders and a quote either above or below them. So far I found two beautiful quotes. Shakespeare's "If music is the food of love; play on." and Henry Ward Beecher's "Of all the music that reached farthest into heaven, 'twas the beating of a loving heart." Both have music and love, which is what I wanted since I am in love and love playing piano, but I just cannot pick!
I definately like the first one. Its short, simple, and to the point. I think it would make an awesome tattoo. Of course, go with your heart because it will be on you forever but i personally like the first one. Good Luck!
