Hi im 15 yrs. old and i want to know if you can get alcohol poisoning by just drinking one drink of alcohol?

Well if it's not too late, i would sign up for an SAT prep. class in school. And buy one of those SAT books to help you prepare. I have on;y taken it once so far in March, but i got a 1280 wich is ok because the minimum score for most colleges is an 1100. so as long as you get somewhere in there you should be good. but take it at least twice because they will take the higher score.

i had sex 2 days ago (saturday), and today (monday) i think i got my period, which is a giant relief. but i was wondering if maybe this just happens sometimes after sex and if it could be a sign that im pregnant, and it really isnt my period? thank you

Well if it was your frist time, it couls just be from that. Or it coud be your period. If you were pregnant, you wouldn't bleed like that. but just in case, wait a few weeks then take a pregnancy test.

I'm going to camp tomorrow, and I have this really bad gas problem that I can't get rid of.
So I have some beano, but I can't take it in front of everyone else at a mealtime before the first bite of food. Will it still be just as effective if I take 3 (or so) tablets first thing in the morning in the cabin when i get up before we go to breakfast? Do I have to keep taking it before each meal or will it work all day?
What side effects does beano have?

You could take it in the bathroom before you eat. or like before you leave the cabin and there's no one in the room, you could do that. i'm not sure how long it is supposed to work.

A lot of guys are just out for sex. That's just how boys' hormones work- especially at that age. all i can tell you is find a good guy that will respect your morals and values and most importantly, you. you need to lay down the law before you get serious too. tell him what you aren't willing to do and if he doesn't respect that, the screw him you don't need him.

What is the fastest way of getting rid of a pimple, like within 3 days, or atleast the redness. Dont say proactive or something like that, becuase i need to start tonight and that doesnt come fast sinse its mail order. Anyways any suggestions are appriciated (link)

Try hydrocortisone cream. that's for rashes and stuff but it gets rid of the redness pretty much over night. it's only like 3 or 4 bucks at wal mart and its a pretty good sized amount. or there's clean and clear on the spot acne treatment, that's pretty amazing too!

well i found this on a website stating the child labor laws of nassau county: Minors 14 and 15 years old may work after school hours and during vacations, but not in factory work. They may do delivery and clerical work in any enclosed office of a factory, and in dry cleaning, tailor, shoe repair, and similar service stores.
so you could probably work at a grocery store as a bagger, or if you guys have cici's pizza i know they hire at 15. maybe babysit for someone. try a movie theater, or i know chick fil a hires at 15 too if there are any out there. and if none of these work, just see if your parents will let you do some extra work in the house to earn some money.

i'm pretty sure any coke can has it on there. you could also go to a grcery store that sells six flags tickets (publix, albertsons etc.) and they have tickets for like 20 dollars off.

So recently me and my friend got some alcoholic, it's more of the girls drink..Anyways and we had a lot left and put it in a bag and I had in my closet and my mother found it, and I never really get caught doing anything bad so she called me into my room and asked why I had it and how'd I get it?I said from noone and no reason and she had a very death like look.So she was looking for a bag and she told me how could she trust me ever again and she was going to tell my father.And went downstairs.She came back up again to clean a bit and told me why I had boose hidden in my closet.I don't remember what I said back but then she came in my room again looking for a bag still and at the end she was like.. I can't believe you.You thought I would never catch you huh?And I said I don't know?If she ever told my father, my father would be so disappointed in me.My mother was a partier back in the day.. and when she was younger she smoked and whatever.What I'm asking if what shall I do? I never really got caught like this.I feel like I let down my parents and I feel horrible.I haven't really drank this whole summer and when I do.. I get caught.I need help quick.. and to top it all off.. I've been caught in the same situation so i'm just going to tell you what happened with me. My mom told my dad, and my dad the next day made a police report for underage drinking. Nothing happened at the police station, i just had to tell the police where i got the alcohol and who's house it was at and stuff. But hopefully your dad won't do this if your mom tells him. I felt how you are feeling right now, but i promise your parents are going to love you no matter what. It takes a while for the situation to calm down but i think if you explain to them that you're a teenager and you're going to try things they will listen. They aren't going to like it but tell them you won't go behind their back again and if you are going to try something, you will let them know. That's what i told my parents and my dad said if i was curious about trying stuff to let him know and i can try it at home. I hope everything works out for you , it seems bad now but it WILL definitely get better.

Boys, boys, boys. They're a mess. Here's what i say-
Stay friends. like everyone else was saying, you guys are on different levels because of the age difference. 4 years might not seem like a big deal but trust me on this, boys minds have way different thoughts. So you may be thinking it's just a fun relationship when he may be thinking he wants more. If he likes you as much as he says he does, then i think he would respect your decision if you just wanted to stay friends. And who knows, maybe if you guys are friends long enough and understand where youre both coming from, you could really hit it off :)

Uhm.. I'm on a VERY low budget, allowance is at a minimal because the family is HUGE and my boyfriends birthday is in August, a festival we plan to go to is in September, in October we're going to a Halloween concert, in November it's out 1 year anniversary, and then there's Christmas. This is all relatively close together..
Any ideas on how I can make super low budget work and afford all of these, pulling off getting decent gifts?

I agree, definitely look for a part time job. Or if you know you can pay them back, borrow money from a friend or sibling. But back to the jobs, babysitting is good. Or just a clothing store for a few months until you save up to get to do the things you want. Maybe even ask your parents if they can pay for the halloween concert as an early christmas gift. I hope it all works out for ya!

Okay, I'm a 14 year old in Bellevue, Washington, and I'm going to be 15 in about 6 months.. I know, thinking ahead, but I was wondering about jobs. I've been looking around on the Net, (McDonald's, Starbucks, Target, etc.) and I can't seem to find any places that accept 15 year old's for jobs. McDonalds didn't state what age, Starbucks said 16, and yeah. It had a pretty good starting pay too, so any advice? please? Stores? chains?

A lot of grocery stores hire at 15. And i'm not sure but if you guys have any Chick-Fil-A out there, they hire at 15 too. If you don't like either of those, maybe you could babysit for someone on a weekly basis or work with a relative or something.

I have a "friend" like this, she's always hanging out with her boyfriend but once they break up or something, she's back to me. anyways, you don't need to deal with that. it's almost like you're a last choice and you don't deserve that. friends don't do that. school is starting again soon, so definitely look for some new friends that won't treat you like crap or just use you when there's nothing else to do.
