well im Mexican and i live in a place were Mexicans hang wit Mexicans and everyone else hangs with what ever they are but i not only hang wit Mexicans but with these white and black people and they know im Mexican and they know i got to hang wit my people once in a wile but they sometimes can be real mean to them and its not like my people like just stand there they say stuff back and im always cot between so one group is like yeah tell them if they start stuff we are too so they both say stuff and well i don't know what to do i just want them to be cool cuz well im a girl and i like one of the guys who is Mexican and one of the black guys well i grow up with so he looks at me like a lil sis so its like real hard cause i don't know what to do i mean i try for them to be nice but im just real scared cause the black and white guys well they all have a criminal record so yeah i don't what nothing to happen what do i do (link)

Well, Your hanging out with people that like to start shit, idk if they`ll ever change anytime soon. You dont really have any right to tell them not do that to tell you the truth. All i can say is watch the road so you dont get in the middle of a drive by. It Happens! And for liking them, I guess if you where with one you would have a say for them not to start shit. Sry thats all I can think of that you can do. When you chose to do something, you must embrace the sorrows that comes with it, you know?

my boyfriend and i are really close. we've been together for a long time, and we usualy have a lotta fun together. hes a real sweet guy and always has been, but until recently (meaning the last few months) hes been smoking pot with his friends. the fact that he does it doesnt bother me as much as the fact that he'll leave parties that hes hanging out with me at to go smoke with his friends. it pisses me off so much. basically: he ditches me for his friends and drugs. they pressure him into it. i tell him it pisses me off, but i dont know what to do.

Well, As a Cannabis smoker, I rather enjoy smoking, And it`s a fun event to chill with some close friends and im sure he feels the same way. Sharing weed is a sign of saying your cool(i know that corny but its true) It cost more then money, The only thing you could do without being a B, is let him get high, but it the taking like forever then go and get him or join the group, if your under 18 i dont advise smoking it. But when it comes to smoking people think differently then other subjects. If you say i want you over here not over there, he`ll take it like your controlling. He wouldnt do it if he didnt enjoy it. So let him have his fun. He might not smoke pot for the rest of his life you know.

Hello. I have a very serious medical question for you fellow advice columnists. When a fetus is in the womb, and it is given it's first lethal dose of the common drinking water (H20, in science lingo), why does it not expand to unproportional lengths due to a reaction due to the bacteria in said H20? For example, if a Native American were to take a lethal dose of H20, he would probably swell to unimanigible proportions and potentionally die. Does the same apply to fetuses? Well, You should tell yourself your addicted. You like it and theres nothing wourg with it. If you really need to stop I highly recommen you start study Buddism. It helps you free yourself from desire. Study the words of the Buddha. It`s a philosophy. I was a very voilet very depress person, but because of Buddism Its hard to get mad and im always happy, I mean i got beat down like every mounth for 7 mounths and a walked off with a smile. And you might have to buy a book. My first one was only like 7 dollers.

I have a very weird body shape. I'm fat, so I wear a size 12/14 in jeans. Problem is, I can't find any jeans that fit me well! All of them fit me fine in everyy place, except the backs of my thighs!! Jeans NEVER ever ever fit there. They will fit on my butt, and lower legs (calves) fine, but the back of my thighs..never. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do, or what stores might have jeans that'll fit me there? I'm also very short, so that might be part of the problem? I'm 5'1. (link)

Well, You gain weight differly then most people, Same as me. Start working out if you really want to fix the problem. Im not sure how to work out to brun fat in that place. And try drinking herbal teas, Some will give you lots of energy.

Okay. I was at my boyfriends house the other day and his brother's friends sister came over, and she was all over him in the pool. Well you should tell her to back the (bleep) off your boyfriend. Dont show her respect when she`s showing you any. If you can take her then make it clear that if she tireds anything funny bad stuff will happen. If not, take your guy and show him that your alot better then her.

Last Saturday night I was drinking with 7 guys. Five of them were 18 and two are my age. I like one of the guys who is my age. I was stupid and made a bet with one of the older guys about who could stay up longest. If I fell asleep first we would kiss. The thing is I won the bet and never fell asleep at all but he did. When he woke up I asked him what time it was and he came over and started making out with me. Then 3 times later during the night we frenched even though I didn't want to because the guy I liked was sleeping on me. I thought I liked the older guy at the time but now he is like.. in love with me. I have been avoiding him since because he graduated, has his own place, has his own car, etc and is way too old for me.
He just told me on msn to call him and gave me his number but I am 'away' so I will pretend I didn't get the message.
Should I continue to ignore him until I start going out with the guy I like? I don't want to hurt his feelings. We have only ever met once so I don't feel comfortable having a whole 'I don't like you in that way..' conversation. I know it was a mistake to make out with him but usually that's not a big deal.

Well, You shouldnt make out with people when you dont like them. Its a type of lying, and since you lied he`s getting the wourg idea. You could say you like someone else. And im sure he`ll get the idea. And dont be careless when you drink! I`ve seen alot of bad shit happen and had to do alot of stuff i didnt want to do because of people drinkin.

I am 15 years old and so is my boyfriend. There is this girl that he talks to that has been his friend for years. They both say that they are brother and sister type friends. I believe them but I have really big jealousy issues. This girl is skinnier than I, and prettier. I recently got into a fight with my boyfriend because when he went to his friends house she showed up. I ignored his calls and everything. Well, this girl Instant Messaged me asking me if he could go to San Francisco with her tomorrow to hang out with her and her mother because it is her birthday and she has no one else to go with and doesn't want to go alone. I want to feel sad and just cry thinking about. But they're just friends, right? Should I just let him go and face my jealousy and see if it helps me get over it? Well, I would ask her why she doesnt/didnt want you to go. And dont let Jealousy cloud your judgement, I`ll only cause you harm. And if she cant give a reasonable awnser then you know how she thinks of you. Any friend who`d chose a boy/girl friend isnt a Good friend, Just a friend. Treat her like you treat she treats you. Have little respect. And if she ask why, dont give her the respect by twlling her, cuz shes knows what she did. And dont show your anger. Good comes to the one who waits. And take notes on who your boyfriend acts. And guys dont always like the skinner girls! I myself and many of my close friends like some meat on a girl.

My best guy friend, Sam, I don't know what is going on with him! He would always flirt with me and talk to me. I heard him say that I was hot to one of his friends at the beginning of the year if that matters.
I also heard his friends tryings to guess who he was going to ask out and they kept saying my name and he didn't respond. All he did was stare at me and that day in my last class. right before the bell rang, his friend was like, "Do you like Sam?" and I was like, "Ummmm...No. Why?" and hes like, "Oh, just wondering." and he went out the door.
on my birthday I had invited sam to my party, which was that weekend. I took 10 of my best friends to a movie. While we were in line waiting for the popcorn, he asked if i was going to the dance on tuesday and I said, "Oh. Probably." he smiled and looked at his friend and the exchanged some weird look and then his friend said, "sam doesnt have anyone to go with." and they both stared at me expecting me to say something but I just said, "oh." and we went to go sit down.
the week of the dance, he asked my best friend, Sarah, out. She kept saying, "he barely even talks to me!" but he would only talk to her or hug her when I was around.
during the last class of the day, his best friend asked me again, "would you ever go out with sam?" and I said, "uhhhhhhh i dont know! why do you keep asking me that?!" and he was like, "Dunno..HE MIGHT LIKE YOU!" and I gave him a weird look and he said, "IM JOKING! IM JOKING!" but he didnt sound like it.
But, he broke up with sarah and started going out with taylor again and all he did was ignore me and he wasn't nice to me at all unless she wasn't anywhere close to us. I talked to jake and he said that sam answers when he calls but I've tried to call him many times over the summer but he never answers the phone.

okay i'd say about seven months ago. me and a kid named 'dylan' started talking. & we went out. about two days into the relationship i got online & his away message said i love you 'melanie'. WHILE we were going out & when i asked him about it all he said was that he was sorry. but he liked 'melanie' more than me. it took a while to get over. beause we actually got along really well. after that i stayed single for a while and about four months ago i started dating my guy best friend 'landon'. well 'landon' and i are good. except he gets a bit jealous. & a few weeks ago at a swim meet 'dylan' was flirting with me a bit. now, i dont like him or anything. but he was flirting. & 'landon' got EXTREMELY mad saying how much i flirt with other people. WELLL we both got over it & its been about a month. & last monday 'landon' went on vacation. he came back on friday but he's been busy and i havent seen him in like 10 days. meanwhile, 'dylan' and i were talking on aim. when all of a sudden he starts to tell me how stupid he was & is for letting me go. & how he'd NEVER hurt me again. & how sorry he is. & how wonderful & amazing i am. and everything. and he's really sweet. BUT i have a boyfriend. & i told him how i couldnt leave my boyfriend and how i didnt exactly want to. but the thing is: i have NO idea what to do. because on one hand, i dont want to just leave 'landon' and throw away everything because i REALLLLY like him. but with dylan. it's like couriosity is a huge. because i never really got to hang out with dylan while we were dating & a part of me wants to.
