I was always a dork through middle school, and so I picked up a lot of dorky friends. Recently, I've become somewhat popular, and have picked up quite a few new (though no-less-dorky) friends. Through some weird twist of fate, my two groups of friends all happen to know each other. It really is a small world, isn't it? Anyway, I love all my friends dearly, but some of them don't get along with each other. I'd like to have a birthday party and have them all over, but I know it would be awkward since they all have different interests, and some of them don't get along. I know I shouldn't be friends with them if they don't value me enough to *try* to get along, but it may be the last chance I have to see some of them, and I'd like all of them to have a good time. Do you have any ideas on some activites I could set up to appease both my normal friends and my video-game/computer nerd friends? What could I say to my friends that don't get along? Should I have two separate parties?! None at all?!?! (link)

First of all, do what you want at your party. You shouldn't have to appease everyone else it's your party! Do invite them all if you want them there. But have a word with each group seperately first, explain that other friends will be at the party, and that you would really appreciate it if they would try to get along just for one evening. If they are real friends they will.

Listen to me, and listen closely. YOU DO NOT NEED A BOYFRIEND. Boys are jerks, they mess with you, and THERE IS NO POINT CRAVING THEM. Sure relationships can be fun and rewarding, but generally only when they just *happen*. Trust me when the time is right and you meet him you'll know. In the mean time, be a feminist girl, we don't need them!

Stupid is relative. What's stupid to you may in fact be very sensible to Bob. And if Bob is, in fact, stupid (although this is relative to your perseption of "stupid"), his question may be very msart considering Bob's normal stupidity level. Therefore there really is no stupid question, as we cannot say what "stupid" really means. And your comment may have offended Bob, who I must point out is just a hypothetical character. Bob might think that your question is stupid.

Take it from a girl hun, we like it a lot better if you just come out and ask us. Getting your friends to do it is really immature. But if you want to make sure she likes you first, try catching her eye and smiling. Her reaction should give you the idea ;)

I recently got rejected by a guy that I liked, and I'm pretty much over him. He seems to think that I'm still in love with him, even though I never loved him at all. He always tries to rub in the fact that he rejected me, by talking about the girl he likes, in front of me. He'll also talk to my friends a lot when I'm around, even though he never normally talks to them. It annoys me so much! I hate the fact that he's trying to hurt me, because it's really starting to hurt! Help! (link)

Girls with their friends are notoriously evil, so you might have to just put up with that. However, I fear that if this situation were turned around and it was a girl telling me the guy was doing this, I would probably tell her he was being a jerk. So draw your own conclusions from that. hey I have a question. What is the diference between a christain or a cathloc? I always thought that they were the same in general. but sence being on this site I have noticed people say they are in fact diferent.
and one more thing can somebody tell me what a pagan is? not to be rude or anything. i know that that is a religion but do magic or something.

Catholicism is just a different denomination of Christianity - as long as you believe the core aspects (ie Jesus being the son of God), you are a Christian, but different denominations have slightly different views and beliefs.
Paganism is a group of ancient religions which draw on the powers of the earth and the universe, and the four elements. Some Pagan religions use magick, although not all. Pagans always follow a positive code of ethics, and are in no way related to "Satanic" practices.

I would be wary of this. As much as you think it could, once romance has had a look in there is rarely a friendship left in tact at the end of it. Having said that, if you really do like him, it's going to make you miserable being around him if you want to be more than friends. If he's a good friend, just talk to him. The worst that can happen is that he only likes you as a great friend - and that's not so bad.

There are loads of great advice leaflets out there warning pregnant women what to (and what not to) do whilst pregnant. I would reccomend getting her one of these - it's sometimes better if the advice is from an outside source instead of you.

ooh, evil guy, stringing them along. I am inclined to hit you over the head with something large, but I will refrain and give you some advice instead. You need to decide which one you like most, and soon. It's really unfair to string them alone, especially if you don't like the one you are dating. Make the decision, and then let the one you are not choosing down GENTLY (this applies especially if you are going to dump the one you are dating. Nicely please, and not in public).

See, I like this guy but I don't know if he likes me . I don't want to ask him because, he's really proud and he can sometimes be a jerk . He's never been a jerk to me though, but one of my friends asked him if he liked me , and he supposedly called me ugly which lead to no . I have tried to get over him and at times I think I'm over him . So when I pay him no attention it's like he's paying me attention, and I totally get pulled back into liking maybe loving him because this has been going on for a year . Do you think maybe I have a chance with this guy . Do you think that I or maybe he is playing a game ? What should I do? So do I. It's a character flaw, and there isn't a lot you can do about it. But at the end of the day, you are living your life, they aren't. So you have to make the decisions and choose the paths that are right for you, even if people think badly of you for it. And if they can't deal with it...tell them to go screw themselves ;)
