I have a friend whom I have known for about 4 years now, but I didn't really start getting to know him until last year. I never actually hung out with him until my bf was one of his friends, which is when I was around him more often. When my bf and I broke up, I hung out with his group a lot less often, but I was still in a couple classes with him. This year we also have 2 classes together, but I think our friendship is starting to change. Rather than us being friends through mutual friends, we are actually getting closer. We joke around and he's been talking to me more than usual lately, and I think I might like him. If you have any experience with this, could you give me hints to watch for on whether we like each other or if we are just becoming good friends. (link)

k well this has happened to me and the hints are sometimes obvious and sometimes difficult but basically if he teases you a lot in a funny way and tries to annoy you and just make you laugh a lot then he likes you and talking to you a lot is just his chance of getting you to laugh and just joke around with you so if he does any of the stuff i said most guys do then he should be asking you out soon.

So, I like this boy. And I live in the city but he lives in the suburbs. And the certain area in which he lives is about an hour and a half away. We both like each other a whole hell of a lot. I can't drive yet cause I'm only fourteen. And he just turned sixteen and getting his license in four months. My question: Should we try anything? Considering the fact that he lives so far, I don't think we'd be able to see each other a lot. And his parents are somewhat strict so I don't think they'd let him go all the way to the city to see me. My friends say that we could make it work. We talk to each other every night until like, two in the morning and I always joke around and say, be my boyfriend! or something like that. and he just goes, i wish, move closer to me. so.. what should we do? I think you should try being his gf because it obvious you both like eachother and if the distance is only an hour and a half away then its not that bad because you will be able to see him because once he gets his license he will for sure come see you even if its once or twice in a week make the most of it and dont let anything get in your way good luck:)

I know this make no sense, but I was wondering, why is it that people who have lost so much in life whether it be a parent or somthing can love so deeply and live, but the people who have suffered so little cannot?? If this makes no sense I'm sorry, then just ignore my question. My friends dad committed suicide and I just can't understand how anyone can commit suicide and leave the family behind and not know the damage it has caused. It really gets me when people on this site are asking how to kill themselves, b/c don't you know that suicide temporarily solves the problem by permanently destroying lives?? Gosh, I just don't get it. I want to know what would posess someone to commit suicide, problems are so temporary thats why life is called a roller coaster b/c it has up and downs. I mean how else would we aprreciate the good days if we didn't have bad ones to go with it...
Can someone explain to me, why I can cry my eyes out over someone I don't know committing suicde yet some ppl do it without a second thought???
I just want to say something to him, but I don't know what to say...saying I'm sorry about your dad just seems so limited, I feel there is so much I could do, but where do you even start???

K its hard for someone whose never felt like commiting sucide or someone who hasnt been through a lot to understand but the reason most people commit sucide is because they have something that is bothering them. Most teens commit sucide because they've been bullied or tormented and most adults commit sucide because they're having trouble paying bills and getting their family everything they need also they could be depressed about not giving their family enough. Your friend is probably going through a lot the only think you can really say is he's in a better and happier place looking over you and protecting you i hope i helped if you need any more help feel free to ask :)

okay so heres the situation.

he broke up with me for my cousin, (and he thought i was cheating when in reality he was cheating)
well anyways my cousin and him went out for a year and 2 months.. they broke up today *she broke up with him for a new guy*
well i went to his house today not to see him,im best friends with his sister, well he was upset and he told me to come hang out with him while his sister was cooking.. now i have a boyfriend weve been dating 8 months. so i hung out with my ex and he told me to sit on his bed and he was playing a video game haha and he asked me to try to play well when i took the controls he put his arm around my waist and put his hand up the back of my shirt and was rubbing my back, im not gonna lie i did like it and he kept asking for hugs and thats all that happened well, my ex told me he wants me back but i dont know what to do, i love my boyfriend so much and i cant imagine life without him but then again old feelings for my ex are starting to come back, i dont know what i should do i mean my ex has been known to cheat but im just drawn to him i dont get why after everything that has been going on?

no you shouldnt get back with him the whole reason you broke up was because he accused you of cheating when he was the one doing it so stay with your current bf if you dont you'll regret it later because guys like you ex will just break your heart. I'm 16 years old. I know, thats young.
But I had a boyfriend my freshmen year, he was also my best friend before we decided to be together.
We went out for almost 2 years. But heres the thing.. I moved about a year ago to another state. So me and him have been doing long distance for the rest of the year.
My parents hated him because they found out about me and him getting intimate. So we only visited each other once. and we broke up 2 months ago.
I feel like I lost my love and my best friend all in once. Were trying to be best friends still, so we still keep in touch. but I still have feelings for him. He says he doesn't love me anymore, he said he loves me as his best friend. Sometimes hes really rude to me too, and not sweet all the time like he used to be. & I miss him so much.
I'm trying to get over him, like we barely talk anymore, it used to be everyday for like 5 hours. and now its maybe twice a week for like 30 minutes. and I go out on dates with other guys. I joined a bunch of things in school to keep myself busy. But at nights when i'm all alone, hes all i can think about. So I call my friends ot keep me busy until i fall asleep so i'm not alone.
I don't want to live like that. I wanna be able to get over him.
But I know the main reason he broke up with me is cuz i cheated on him twice. But I have problems saying "no" b/c i was raped in 8th grade. its a long story. but he forgave me. but all his friends tell me that he just doesn't want to get hurt again, and i understand that. But everytime he gets drunk/high he talks about me asking "why would she do that to me?" or "I love her so much, i don't know why she did this" so I think he still had feelings for me.
so I don't know if I should try and get him back? or just hold off and at least wait til school is out? or just shut him out completly?
I don't know what to do.
I really really still want him as my best friend b/c he knows EVERYTHING about me and he understands me better then anyone else.

Show her by doing everything by yourself for yourself like cook for yourself clean the house clean your room without being asked and just do everything that your mom has to do for you on your own and then talk to her about how you want to live independently and how it would give you the oppurtunity to make your own decisions and that if she doesnt let you go now then you will never learn anything for yourself this is all the stuff i did to convince my mom and dad and now im living on my own in my own condo happily :) good luck:)

So here it goes, I am going out with this kid and He smokes Weed and Ciggarettes, I dont like that he smokes but when I look into his eyes I forget about it all, I know I love him with all my heart, but hes hurting himself bad with the smoking. He tells mehe loves me everyday. We have already broken uponce because he doesnt wanna get me into the drugs and ruine my life, but less then a week later we were both depressed and didnt know what to do other then go out again, we were both miserable without eachother!
