My name is Devin Lindsey or Vinny as my sister calls me! I am 17 years old and go to Bethel Park High school. I loooove swimming along with dancing, singing, and playing softball. I also run varsity track with is alright i supose too.


My favorite colors are orange, pink, and blue. I love to be crazy and have a good time

I've had a job working for 15+ monthes so I can answer alot about that

and I know alot about relationships in general so I can be helpful with that sometimes

especially with parent child relationships


I am a very observant person and tend to know more and care about more than most my age


and I really believe in volunteering to help animals especially at shelters. Usually its not their fault that they have to live their and its usually horrible cercimstances that bring them there and I feel terrible that they can't speak for themselves and people are too caught up in spending like $500 on this cute little pure breed puppy from a breeder just into getting rich instead of giving one of these dogs another chance at life (there are usually a handful of dogs under a year old so the i want a puppy excuse doesn't work with me)

My baby is named Lainey Mae... we got her from a shelter about 2 hours away from us when she was 7 weeks old. she is now 2 years old and the center of our family. unfortunately someone was cruel enough to go down and drug up and shoot (but luckly not kill) most of the dogs plus rob the owner (just like someone did at the shelter where I volunteer) and its now shut down

Tomorrow I want to wear my hair curly for a change since it is always pin straight. I tried srunching my hair and my hair doesn't scrunch! I used good products too and it never works. A curling iron doesn't curl my hair! I know that sounds weird but it doesn't. And I have a good brand. What are other ways to make my hair curly for school tomorrow? Don't tell me to put it in braids because that messes up my hair.

i really like the curlers that make spiral curls.. you know the long ones that bend! they make my hair have the scrunched kinda look

My 5 month dog is trying to mount my 3 year old daughter, which is not exceptable. Should I neuter him now? I do believe it is more than just being a puppy. He is in the bully breed and I am very concerned about him knowing his place in our klan, and manners.

Well most dogs are supose to be fixed until they reach the age of 6 monthes. I don't think its a puppy thing though.. I think its more of he doesn't know who he should do it on (so basically hes going through other dog withdraw so your daughter is the next best thing). Once he turns 6 monthes old i would say go ahead and get him neutered though

it affects anywhere that rains and has polution! i would say mostly in the north because we get more rain than the south. i know where i live (PA) has alot of acid rain as well as New York.. so its basically any big city is affected by it

Yesterday, my flow was pretty heavy, so this morning I put in a tampon and went off to school. It felt uncomfortable, and when I went to take it out, it hurt really bad then when it came out, it was almost completley white, with very little blood. It burned to take it out, and ever since then, I've felt sore down there.

Is there some wrong?

that happens to me everyonce and a while... you must have not put it in far enough or whatever or yuo left it in a little too long but its nothing to worry about

my eighth grade graduation is coming up in about a month, and i got a dress, but idk if im completely happy with it. i love the colors and how it looks on me, but im just afraid its too short and not formal enough (even though graduation isnt really formal) the thing is, the graduation ceremony or whatever is before the dance, on the same night. so i go straight from the ceremony to the dance (pretty pathetic) so i'm afraid my dress is too party-ish looking like for the ceremony. here's a picture: http://img119.imageshack.us/img119/2091/10055544fq.jpg

no way i think its perfect.. the only thing i might recomend is like a little sweater or something over your shirt for the ceromony because i think the tube top is a little to partyish for the ocasion

Hey. Well, I'm like 5'6 to 5'7, and I'm 14/f African American (if that helps) and about to enter the 9th grade as a freshman in August. Anyways, I was just wondering if you guys thought that I was tall for my age, average height, etc. Also, can you guys tell me if long legs look good in mini skirts. Thanks.

i would say your a little tall.. not wow tall but i would say for your age yes but you'll belend in just fine in highschool. I've known girls who are 6 foot their freshman year so yuo are certainly not a giant. and i think most tall girls dont look good in mini skirts.. they look better in ones that are just a tad longer

my uncle's german shepered bit me and i have a big bruise do i have a rabies? cause my uncle said he got complete rabies shots so i dont have to worry but my friends and my PE teacher said that i have to go to the doctor im confused

by the way the dog bit me in 05/9/2006 and
i washed my wound after he bit me it didnt break my skin that much and no blood at all.


its hard to say but you should go see a doctor. even if he got a rabies shot hes not 100% protected and once you get simptoms of rabies you have a 90% chance of dying. if you see a doctor now and you do have it you have a much better chance of getting cured

I'm getting that Abercrombie Kids sweatshirt for my 12 year old, female, 100 pound cousin. And I think I should get her a size Small. Would she fit into that and would it be really tight? can anyone diagnose what's wrong with me?

sore throat, popped ears, abrnomaly heavy discharge, feeling extremely tired.

could this just be because im expecting my period any day now? im not sure since ive only had it for a year and a half. any advice apreciated.

well i would prob have to say that the sore throat and popped ears have nothing to do with the discharge unless you have an std.. i would say it sounds like strep/the flu/ear infection sort of thing. your best bet it to wait and see if it goes away when you get your period and if not go to the doctor and tell them about all of your simptoms (exept maybe the discharge)

Okay, I'm 16 years old and I've been getting my period for a really long time. Ever since I started getting my period, I've had a really, really heavy discharge between periods. It's really uncomfortable and I feel like it's abnormal. I literally have to wear a pad between periods because my discharge is so frequent. Is this normal, at my age, or is it something I should tell my gyno?

i would say its pretty normal.. its happened to me several times before.. i just wear i think called a mini pad between periods when it gets really bad. its prob not worth telling your gyno unless youve had your period for more than 3 years because the only thing they can really do is put you on birth control if your not already on it to regulate your period and make it shorter and its really not worth that unless you want it real bad

When i'm old enough [Im 16] I would a like to have a job that deals with child abuse.. idk what jobs there are but w.e is available to do to stop it that's what i wanna do..

so does anyone know of jobs that deal with this? how long i have to go to college? and that actually busts in on the parents and takes the kids away.. please help i would to help as soooon as possible.

you could do anything from social services to be a lawyer in i believe its called youth court.. most careers (besides a lawyer) you only have to go to school for 4 years) and the people from social services take the children away
