i need some help. I want some help with hairstyles. I have medium brown straight hair and brown eyes. i can do a lot with my hair but im not great at it. i usually just wear my hair down. any ideas on some new hairstyles that are pretty easy? (link)

Im not sure if you mean a new haircut or just regular everyday so I'll give you both.
regular everday: up straight, half up and down straight, down straight, up scrunched, half up and down scrunched, down scrunched.
new haircut- angles, highlights, perm, side bangs.

Recently i have been thinkign about getting blonde highlights. I've seen many people with highlights, but some people have few highlights, or a lot, or highlights that appear to be wider (i guess lol)but the kind of highlights that i want to get are all over liek i DONT want to see a TON of my natural color liek you do in this picture:

thats streaks. I have highlights, I got a half a head, it doesn't make your hair look too blonde, but you can still see some of your natural hair color. a full might make it look like you dyed your hair. bring that picture to your hairdress and explain what you want and make sure you tell her/him that you do not want that. good luck and I hope you like your highlights

Okay I need help with batting, yes I've played baseball before, and I used to be the best batter on the team, but after 2 years of no practice, I suck at it. I have to way to practice batting without a pitcher, and I don't have one, my dad will not help and my brother is 3 so he can't and my mom sucks at base ball altogether how would I practice since I live in a town(the nearest city is like 30 miles away)small at that, unless I practice onnly at practice? and i'm 13/f. Im sorry, I dont have much help for you but possibly a batting cage which I know could be hard because you said your far. Or you could try throwing the ball up and hitting it from there, I did that and it worked, I know it sounds dumb but it works. Have a friend over?Try teaching your Mom. If not than I guess you would have to practice at practice and maybe stay a little later/ go in a little earlier? Im sorry I couldn't help that much, I hope you find a way!

I'm part of a small community that's looking into getting their own wiki, and I'm their local tech person. Any recommendations on wiki software? I've already got a few possibilities in mind, but it's so hard to choose.
My criteria is something easy-to-use (WYSIWYG would be good, but not essential) and not too confusing. Search, page history, user groups/levels, and uploads are essential. An in-built or addon discussion module would be great, as would be easy customisation of looks. Wiki software would have to be either Perl or PHP, flat-file based or perhaps MySQL.
I've been using PMWiki as a personal wiki, but I'm interested if there are better alternatives out there -- currently considering OddMuse, DokuWiki, and TWiki (any opinions on these?)... I have considered MoinMoin, but our server doesn't support Python.

ok I have AVG Anti-Virus software. The free version. I have some viruses in my virus vault that aren't healable. They arent really effecting my computer becuase it still runs smoothly, but I would like to know how to get rid of them(im not downloading any other programs so forget about that) There is a button that says wipe objects- what does that do? Will that get rid of the viruses? Will it erase the files? Will it effect my computer in any negative way? Thanks. (link)

If your not good with computers, don't touch it. a friend of mine did that and it wiped her computer, Im good at them so I was able to fix it but still. Your going to need to buy a virus software, sorry.

one of my best friends recently has gotten into the phase where she wishes she could have a boyfriend that will basically love her and live for her. and she took it pretty far where now whenever i try to talk to her, that's all she talks about and when i try to give her advice, she says that she doesn't feel like talking. yesterday, i tried giving her advice. i told her that you are not necessarily going to get the man of your dreams at age 13/14. everything happens for a reason and everyone has a perfect match, they just might not come until later in life. & i also told her that she should really accept her friends giving advice because if she actually took time to read and thought about it, i bet it'd really help. she keeps telling me that i don't understand even though it runs across my mind everyday. i basically want her to just think of me as a higher person, you know? so when i give her advice, she can really think about it and actually think i'm good & smart. i want her to think i'm a better person to come to so she can think, "hey, she is really good so i'm going to trust her with my problems." & we've known each other since preschool and recently became closer and now best friends. i know it's impossible to control what she thinks of me, but is there anyway, to i don't know...impress her to show her that i am better than what she thinks? i will rate super high if this is good adviceee. Hi, maybe your friend doen't always want advice, if I was you Id just try sometimes just listening to her, and occasionally agreeing. I know your trying to help her, but sometimes maybe all she wants to do is vent. Than when you actually do give advice, it'll be rare and she will listen. As for trusting with problems, you just have to show her you won't tell anyone. Tell her she can tell you anything and you won't tell anyone. Start telling her some of your problems, and see if you can trust her. I hope I helped. Good luck!

I really need help. My boyfriend of two years broke up with me a few weeks ago and it's getting really hard to handle. I knew that I'd be crying a lot and facing a lot of pain, I'm just in a really bad moment of pain.
I've been crying a lot every night because he has a new girlfriend and it really hurts to think about. I know that I should be talking to someone and I do have a really supportive family. I guess I'm asking if theres anything more that I could be doing at this point?
He had an away message talking about how much he loved his girlfriend and it set me off into depression. Can anyone help any further when it comes to dealing with a break-up? (link)

did he know you were online? hes probably trying to get you jealous, and it does work. you can't show him your jealous. just take it day by day, theres a lot of other guys out there.

Its garnier fructics, but my hair dresser said its bad for your hair because it coats your hair. If you don't cut them off they will just keep growing and eventually split up your hair. I hope you find a solution soon

i have AIM and me and my friend switch away messages and she sent me sumthing cool and i copy and pasted it and then it turned out plain and i didnt click paste plaintext, then i tryed copying other stuff and it did the same, someone help. i did update it. ohh and wen i sign on sumtimes this thing pops up and says unknown error, ohh and do u kno how to get rid of torjans virus??!

unknown error happens to me a lot, it might be if your screen names are linked. as far as copy and pasting try left clicking with the mouse and click copy, and do that twice and than click paste. Im not sure about trojan viruses, but Im pretty sure you need an antivirus program. I hope I helped!!

Hey I'm a junior and planning to take an SAT II soon. Maybe Biology or Math 1. What kind of books are good for preperation? I know theres Barrons and The Princeton Review, but I'm not sure which one to get, or any others.
Has anyone tried any or more of those books? I'm looking for one with a lot of examples and practice - with explanations. Any help is appreciated, thanks. P.S. - does College Board make a prep book for subject tests? (link)

I can't really answer this question because I honestly don't know but I would type in SAT II prep books on google.com make sure you type it in quotes, you'll get better results. I hope everything works out for you and I'm sorry I couldn't be a better help.
