Print that picture out and take it with you when you go to the salon. Show your stylist and ask for his/her opinion. Bringing the picture can only help in making the style even more fabulous.

Possibly bring a picture of what you want done just in case, or ask if they have any there, some do. Chances are, they'll ask you if you want a 'foil' (which tends to be more expensive, but looks nicer) or the 'pull-through cap' method. I'd go for the cap first. But beware, full highlights can be pretty expensive anyway. Then when your roots start to show, after 6 weeks and you want it touched up, go in and get a '7-foil-highlight' (that's what they call it here anyway) just to touch up your roots. You won't need a full job again because they will overdo it. Good luck! [ MissAshleyBrook's advice column | Ask MissAshleyBrook A Question ]

I have highlights, I got a half a head, it doesn't make your hair look too blonde, but you can still see some of your natural hair color. a full might make it look like you dyed your hair. bring that picture to your hairdress and explain what you want and make sure you tell her/him that you do not want that. good luck and I hope you like your highlights [ xo1234's advice column | Ask xo1234 A Question ]
