Ok so I usually get my period around the 12th or 13th. In April I got it the 23rd. What time of the month should I expect to get it in May? The time I usually do or the time I had it last?

You will probably get it in late May, if you have a 25-28 day cycle. You might be irregular, though, so it could come earlier.

I am terrified of asking someone out and being rejected. I don't want to be made fun of and it would hurt me. I have always seen boys I like go because I have been to afarid to say anything. I don't want that to happen with the current guy I like. So my question is how do I get over the fear of rejection? Thank you.

You can't get over it until you try. It will be scary, but you have to be brave. Once then will you not be afraid.

I have to give a speech in fron of the whole class next week, and I'm absolutely terrified. I am really bad at speeches. I start shaking and I can't read my notcards. Does anyone have any suggestions to help me get over my fear?

Practice a lot. Just go up there and pretend your talking to no one. Pretend that you are practicing. Just don't lose your cool and stay focused.

ok..i need to save up about 350 dollars... i am old enought to babysit..but the problem with that is that i dont know anyone that i could babysit for...i am not old enought to get a real job like at a store or something...so does anyone have any siggestions on how to earn money??? thanks! i'll rate high for good answers!!

Do chores at home(like wash your parents car and ask for 10 dollars) or clean before your parents ask you to. You could ask your neighbors if they need help with anything(like cleaning a garage) and see if they will pay you.

I think he likes you. If he keeps trying to be affectionate to you, he probably likes you. Go for it! Ask him out!

I don't think anything's wrong. Periods are irregular for awhile. That happened to me, but it will become regular soon.

I have this guy friend. (Let's call him Mark.) Anyways, I was at this party a couple of weeks ago and Mark was kinda like "my date." After a while, he told one of my friends(Let's call her Sonya)something but he didn't tell me. I was upset about that, so I didn't talk to him until Sonya told me what Mark had told her. Mark said that he liked me and wanted to go out with me. I, don't like him like that at all. Anyways, at school the next week, Mark was acting all stupid to me. He was saying that I'm mean and stuff. He also said that he doesn't like me anymore. My question is "Why is Mark acting so dumb?" He told another friend (We'll call her Katie) that I have been acting stupid ever since I found out that he liked me.

I don't think you are overwight, but you could be a little lighter. I think like 120-140lbs. is normal.

okay well my so called best friend has been ignoring me and talking a bunch of shit and calling me a bitch and everything like that and she's been doing this for like 2 weeks now. and i asked her why she called me a bitch and she started spazzing out about how me and my other friend ditch her all the time but i couldn't have been ditching her because she won't give me the time of day to do that she does this to me every year she can hang out with whoever she wants but when i start to hang out with someone else she gets all pissy about it..i don't know what to do anymore? i rate good/

She's not a real friend. You need to ditch her and hang out with your real friends. Just ignore her like she does to you.

Go by your wishes and wait. Only have sex if you're reay for it and if you know you won't regret your choice after.

I moved to a new state last summer and i havent made that many friends at my new school. There was this girl who was also new who didnt know anyone and she was really down to earth, so we became friends. Over the school year shes become very stuck up, materialistic, and rude to people who try to be nice and talk to her. So im her only friend, and for a while she was my only friend. Ive made some friends with some very nice guys which have invited us (me and my friend) to sit with them during lunch. She never wants to because she thinks shes too good for them. I really dont see anything wrong with them, they are just trying to be friends with her. So i told her to stop being mean and to come sit with them sometime. She always refuses, which means im stuck with her and i dont get to sit with them. Then they get upset (not mad at me) when we dont sit with them. Each day she becomes even more and more rude and i dont really want to be friends with her anymore. Sometimes i feel like she doesnt like sitting with me either. Today during lunch she was on her phone for 45 min out of 50 min. She just kept me sitting there, and when i said i wanted to go sit with the guys she said no. I got really mad and just got up and left to go sit with them because i didnt want to just sit there and listen to her conversation. It was rude for her to be on the phone the ENTIRE lunch period (which is the only time i see her). Anyways, do you think i had the right to do what i did? I know it wasnt very nice, but shes been so mean to people and i thought she deserved it. What would you do in my position?

Yeah, you had the right to leave. I know it's mean, but your kinda deserved it. Your friend is very controlling and that sux. If I was in your position, I would've left too.

hey im 15, and i was wondering can teenagers get breast cancer? like on my left breast i feel like some bump on the inside or something but i dont know if its really a bump and it hurts a little in that area. i was wondering could that be breast cancer? im really worried and i want to know, if any of you know what can that be, maybe its just that my breasts are still growing or something i really dont know. please help me.

I'm not sure. It could be anything. Teenagers can get breast cancer. You should tell your mom and then go see your doctor.

hey everybody this question is for everyone i am getting braces soon and i am totally freaking out on what colors to get because if i don't like the colors i get then i have to wait till i get them changed again and i am very picky so if anybody could help it would be greatly apperciated thanks i will rate 5's for good and reasonable answers. oh yeah one more thing i am a girl and my favorite color is blue and only blue thanks.

I moved here in 6th grade and I've always wanted to be popular...So I tried hanging with the white popular people and it seriously was HARD work!! Each year, things got better..and now I'm at that point where we'd be better friends if I'd invite them over (I haven't invited them over yet because I'm embaress that they will say that my house is small compared to theres..or that they will make fun of my lifestyle..and everything) I'm now in 11th grade..and I really want to be friends with these people..I don't think I can keep a close relationship with them if I never invite them over...I'm just very embaressed of the way I live...Compared to them, I'm so much uglier and poorer..and they're rich...Please don't judge..Thanks

If they are you're real friends, they won't care about how your house is or anything. They would just be being stupid. If you don't want to invite them over to your house, then go to the mall or the beach or something.

No way. Guys actually like when girls ask them out. It takes all the pressure off him. Just ask the guy you like if he wants to see a movie or something. You can make it a group date, so it would be easier for you.

I'm 13 and my brother is 15. He picks on me a lot and sometimes makes me mad but i love him very much. I just wish we were closer. I try to talk to him but he don't talk to me much. How do I get my brother and me to be closer?

Play sports together or do an activity together like a board game or something. Ask him how things are going with him and have a good conversation.

I have a friend that has been drinking and stuff. I've told her not to but i know she doesn't care. And now everybody is all like yeah i drink a lot and i've gotten drunk and smoked that. It seems like everybody smokes and drinks! it's crazy we're all still young! I don't do that kind of stuff and I feel weird like ppl think it's no big deal drinking and i say it's wrong and they think i'm weird. I'm so confused! does everybody do the drugs? i'm not going to start doing them but should i still speak up and say they're wrong?

Sure. If you believe that they're wrong, speak up and say what you believe in. Everyone doesn't do drugs. I don't. None of my friends do.
