my friend told me that she started to cut herself and i was like fighting back tears all day but i swore i wouldnt tell anyone and everyone was like WHATS WRONG WHATS WRONG cause the cutter is like my really good friend...i dunno why she does it either because i always see her smiling and having fun and she has a lot of friends i guess shes just putting on an act for everyone but anyways i think shes like always depressed about different stuff but i never knew it was this bad until the other day...i talked to her about it and told her she shouldnt do it anymore and stuff but now i think she started again WHAT DO i DO?!
I know you swore not to tell, but if she is hurting herself you need to tell someone. She may be mad at you at first, but hopefully she'll eventually see that you told because you love her and don't want to see her hurt. It's better to have her healthy and mad at you, than in pain.
I've just recently installed a windows xp program on my computer and cannot enable my dsl to function properly.I know it works due to the fact that I've used it prior to my upgrade.I was previously in operation with wndows 98. I took upon myself to alter my settings with the hopes and intentions of improving my software. In the begining I was acomplishing something, but in continuing(erasing things I obviously shouldn't have)I succeeded in erasing my windows 98 program completely. My screen was blank. I now have windows xp and still have no knowledge in what what I'm doing. I continuosly run into the same "error" message along the lines of: server not being able to be located.
P.S. My lan light on my modem refuses to eluminate.
You may want to call your computer manufacturer or your Internet provider.
my gf and i have been together for nearly 2 and a half years, she cheated on me with a guy from her school and lied to my face about her flirting and teasing and getting with him when i knew what was going on,
she would not tell me the truth till i forced her to by providing evidence that i knew she had. i logged a few of her chats to find out the truth and she was slagging me off to him and flirting with him still after she promised me nothing was going on, i love her more than anything, but trust is something a relationship needs otherwise u have nothing.. what should i do? If you really love her and aren't ready to give up on the relationship, I think you should talk to her about going to counseling. It sounds like you both have very different views of your relationship. Your problems won't fix themselves, but with outside help you may be able to recover from this and have a healthy relationship together.
out of the kindness of our hearts my husband and I opened the door of our home to my son and his wife. (Just til they get back on their feet) its been 2 years and they are still here!!! My son won't keep a job and is lazy!! He will cook every now and then. Both my husband and I work. my problem is HOW DO I GET THEM OUT OF MY HOUSE?? they have nowhere to go. ITs been 2 years and the daughter-in-law has her first time to wash a dish or sweep a floor. She does not cook or clean.Does only their laundry(I usually have to put it in the dryer-so I can use machine) they pay no rent, nothing on electric(they use a personal electric heater in winter and air conditioner in summer) or water (I pay for city water by the gallon)they eat out a lot and go to the movies all the time...I can't because I can't afford it. so what do I do? how can I tackfully get them to leave? any advise will be appreciated.
Time for tough love. Tell them you love them, but that they need to start living their own lives, and it's time for them to move out. You may want to give them a deadline. Tell your son that he has so many months to get a job and then after that they'll have 6 months to arrange to move out. I'm sure they'll be able to find an apartment they can afford if they're both working. Good luck.
Ok, my dad just died from lung cancer on Tuesday. My friend who me and him have been really really good friend, with some benefits, for almost a year now, asked me to hang out with him yesterday, and he asked me out while we were hanging out. I said yes but Im worried that, 1. hes gonna cheat on me and our friendship is gonna be over (cause he is quite flirty with girls at times) and i dont wanna lose him as a friend cause i really need him around during this time in my life and that 2. idk if he just asked me out cause he feels bad about me because I just lost my dad. HELP!!!
I think you should talk to him. Tell him how you feel. Tell him that you want an exclusive relationship and if he isn't ready for that then he needs to tell you now.
I just found out my daughter is going to be asked by her boy friend to marry him. But before he does, he wants to talk with me and ask my permission. I respect his wanting to ask my permission before he "pops the question"

I think one of the first things you should do is let him know how much you respect his asking you, that will sort of break the ice. You want to try and keep it casual, you don't want him to feel as if you're interrogating him for information. I'm only 20, and I'm a girl, but if I was in your position, a couple things I would need to know is what his job was, and where he thought he and my daughter would live. Besides that I'd just ask him a few getting to know you questions. Where'd you grow up, where'd you go to school, did you always want to be a *insert job title here*. Just so I could get better acquainted with him.
Ok so I just came back from a guy friend's house. My other two friends, a girl and a boy, were there as well. We started off just playing dares, stupid things like kissing and stuff. Anyway, one thing led to another and we got more and more hyper and raunchy. We didn't have actual sex but we were trying to give the boys erections and things. Now I feel so so guilty because I have a boyfriend and Tom and Dan (the two boys) are his best friends. It wasn't anything serious and meaningful but I love my boyfriend and he gets so jealous if I put my arm round other guys and stuff. I don't know what to do.
First of all, I have to say that I think that is probably one of the most immature games I have ever heard off(I don't mean to sound like I'm attacking you, but really, what where you thinking?). Kissing, and arousing someone who is not your significant other falls under cheating on my list. I'd recommend coming clean to your boyfriend. And next time someone tries to start up a game like that, don't get involved.
okay i go back and forth between my moms house and my dads house. The day after i went to my moms house, my dad lost my cat. He said it got outside, and then i come back a week later and he tells me this! what should i do???
The first thing you need to do is call the local shelters and pounds see if they have your cat. If they don't, then check with your dads neighbors and find out if they've seen your cat. If that doesn't work then make posters with your cats picture and description(and you might want to offer a reward), and post them within a couple miles of your dads house. Sell bottles of water. Many people will spend the whole morning going from yard sell to yard sell and they get thirsty. Selling water will bring in some extra money. Also, to make the yard sell look nicer, put your items on tables if you have some you can use. Also, put the bigger items near the road, it will draw more people. And have a sign that says no refunds.

I don't know what the laws are about that in your state, or even in my state. I hope if you are pregnant you'll talk to your parents first, or at least think about this seriously before you go through with it. Talk to women who have had an abortion before, find out what the long term mental effects can be. You don't want to do something you may regret later in life. And you shouldn't destroy your parents grandchild without them knowing. Talk to them, there may be another way to work it out. And next time, use protection! If you think you're mature enough to be having sex, your mature enough to learn how to protect yourself...

im 14 and my b/f's 15. You shouldn't let anyone pressure you into having sex. Especially not the kind of people who would tease someone for not having had sex. I personally think that's a really childish thing to tease someone about. I'm a virgin, and I'm 20. And I don't care who knows. I'm proud of it because I'm waiting until marriage. If someone wants to call me a prude and try and make me feel bad for sticking to my values then that's their problem. I'm not going to feel ashamed for doing things my way, and you shouldn't either. Don't let peer pressure push you into something you aren't ready for.
I am going deer hunting for the first time this year with my dad. It is going to involve me, sitting on a bucket for 8 hours a day for a whole week! What are some good books, or other things that are quiet and light to carry that will occupy me for that long!!

You are way to young to be having sex. And if you are going to do it you need to realize that condoms aren't 100 percent effective. They say 97 percent on the box, but it's really more like 80 percent. Do you want to take that chance? Having a child or getting an STD at 13 would completly change your life. Don't be in such a rush to grow up. Please wait.

If he has a computer you can check Walmart(if you have one near you) for computer games. They have several in the 10-20 dollar range that he might like. If all else fails you can get him a gift card to a music store.

I'm a huge fan of waiting until marriage, but I realize that most people aren't. However, I don't think a week is long enough to get to know each other enough to fall in love, yet alone be thinking about having sex. It sounds to me like he's telling you what you want to hear so you'll have sex with him. If he really does love you he'll be willing to wait. Another thing you need to think about is all the risks that come with having sex. There's pregnancy, STD, and your reputation to consider. Condoms are only 97 percent affective in a perfect world. In the real world they're actually about 80% affective. You need to consider these chances before you make a decision to take your relationship farther. If there is any doubt in your mind, then wait.

If your coaches are bothering you that much, and you think you would enjoy soccer as much as volleyball, then you may want to give soccer a try.
Okay, theres this chickk that goes to my school. I was haveing such a good day cuz I got my hair cut and I got stuff to scrunch my hair, and I thought I looked soo nice. EVERYBODY was complimenting me, and I've never got any compliments from any of these, like my best friend amanda told me i looked pretty, and I've never been told that i was pretty before so it was really cool. But this one chick, shes supposed to be one of my best friends, says I look really bad, and I'm trying to looklike one of my other best friends named Justine, But i wasn't, because Justine doesn't even scrunch her hair! And my belt had broken that day and It wasn't cuz of me, it was because I wore it like everyday and it was fallen apart, it was my favorite belt, and I like put pins in it so it wouldn't break anymore, and then of course I said. "look at my belt" in front of her, and she said "That's what happens when your fat" and I'm like "Dude your mean" and shes like "Truth Hurts", I dunno, she was never mean before, Do you think she was just mad that everybody was complimenting me and not her??

You say she's a good friend? If a friend thought you looked bad, I think she'd take a nicer approach at telling you. Like telling you that she liked your hair better the other way. A friend wouldn't just say you looked really bad unless something else was going on to make them say that. The way she stated her opinion leads me to think that she's either jealous, or was having a bad day and took it out on you. Try not to worry about it to much, if other people said you looked nice trust them.

Wow. Well first of all you don't have to just take their verbal abuse. I believe this is a harassment issue and you may be able to press charges. Unfortunately it's a fact of life that many people put others down to make themselves look better, but realize that not everyone is like this. If those people can't see past your sexuality(which is really none of their business), to the person you are, then they aren't worth your time. Please don't let their words have to power to hurt you, they aren't worth it. Stay strong and remember that you have nothing to be ashamed of, they are the ones who should feel ashamed for harassing someone because of their sexuality.
