My mom and i have not gotten to this topic yet.. so i was wondering.. why do guys get boners?
When guys see/touch/hear/smell (trust me, i've heard weird stories) something sexually stimulating to them, for example a hot girl or someone they like, then their penis, which usually just hangs in front of them, raises up because it fills with blood. when a guy gets an erection (medical term for boner) then technically, he is ready for sex.
guys can also get boners through wet dreams.

like. UGH. I DONT GET IT. If he likes me (from the random acts) then wouldn't he jump at the chance to talk to me online?
just because he logged off right after you said hi may not mean he doesn't want to talk to you. here are some possibilities as to why he logged off. he could be shy, or he could have been caught on the computer by his parents. personally, i think he was just shy..but you never know unless you ask him =]
just be all, "why did you log off after i said hi yesterday?" if he stammers, blushes, or looks uncomfortable while answering, he's probably just shy [aww] if that happens spend time with him and try and make him more comfortable around you =]

So today we had this presentation today and I ended up sitting infront of this boy that I've liked for the longest time now. Randomly out of the middle of nowhere, his friend and him decided it'd be fun to bug me by nudging be in the back with their foot, pretending to step on my fingers etc. They didn't hurt me in anyway but when I'd turn around to tell them to stop this boy I liked had the biggest smirk on his face. It was cute.
Him and I have never really talked but if I am not wrong we have exchanged glances, awkward moments ect..
Would this just sound like a completely random act or an act of affection?

Today at a school-sponsored activity, my friends and I saw a girl sitting alone. I went to talk to her to see if she was alone; she said she was waiting for someone. So I sat down and started chatting with her. I noticed that her eyes were pure blue, not sky blue, but REALLY blue, and I told her that they were beautiful (I'm kind of friendly).
About a minute later, a guy came up and she introduced him as her boyfriend. He is in my math class, but we don't talk. Basically I came up with an excuse to leave and went back to my friends.
She probably told him that I was flirting with her, and now my whole math class might find out, but I was only trying to befriend a lonely girl. How do I handle the situation?

Go up to the guy SOON and explain that to him. If you know his myspace/AIM then ask him on that if going up to him is too bold for your liking (although I dont think so, because you had the guts to go up to a lonely girl =]). He will understand and forgive you. If he doesn't, then he's a jerk. :)

I really want tattoos..and through the last couple of years i got three tattoo designs that mean so much to me. I don't think i will regret them, but other people have started saying..you'll change so much, you won't like this..Anyway..on my left forearm..i want the word "imagine" written in OldEnglish font style thing. On my lower back i want the words Carpe Diem tattooed (latin for seize the day) and i want 4 stars tattooed (dif. sizes) on the back of my right shoulder (i can't think of a better place..can you?).
All these tattoos mean so much to me..they are really personal..should i accept that most people will never understand why i want them and get them done anyway?
What do you think? do they sound utterly stupid..or meaningful..any opinion counts

The only kind of tattoo that I would tell ANYBODY to stay away from is a tatoo that has the name of a lover, because there's no guarantee you'll be together forever.

what does "i know you want me for yourself" means?
It means your friend thinks you want her in a gf kind of way. She might have been (and probably was) kidding, but I can't tell from the context.
I would suggest asking her whether she was kidding or not.
when u r hooking up with someone how do you know when they want to move to the next step?? like if ur making out how would you know a girl wants you to feel her or finger her or w/e and how do i hint i want her to touch me too or w/e
You guys should have an honest conversation with each other about it. Yes, you will have to talk about your feelings. Yes, it will be embarassing. But if you don't talk about it with her and just launch into it/pressure her to do it she may be too shy to tell you to stop and that could distance you two.

Haha, "muffintops". I think you're talking about "lovehandles" (that's a more common name for them) and they only appear on girls because of the way females store fat.

I'm an aspiring model, as well, and I live in New Jersey. Since you live in New York, you have it /SUPER EASY/: lots of modeling agencies are located in New York! You don't have to travel as far as I do :P
A good place to start off with is Elite Model Management. They're a reputable modeling agency. They have open calls every Monday at 3:00 pm (except for holidays). Their address is:

If you can't get there for whatever reason, they also have an online form for you to submit photos of yourself at http://www.elitemodel.com. You can also find out more about their company there.

Another thing I do, is search popular clothes stores' websites, such as Mandee's, Delia's, Abercrombie, etc. Some stores hold contests every now and then to look for girls to model their products. Delia's had a big one last summer. The winners of those contests not only get to model for their fave clothes store, but also get a lot of positive attention from scouting modeling agencies. =]
