You all know that rumor going around about how ipod headphones can make your hearing worse. Is that true and even proven?? I use those headphones a lot but I don't have the volume very loud. Any ideas?? Thanks! (link)

iPod headphones can go very loud, and if you listen to them for a long time with the volume really loud, you could damgae your ears/hearing.
of course, you can damage them having the volume up too loud using any headphones.
As long as you don't have hte volume up too high, you should be ok :)

14/f. My bf is coming to visit me in august and he is also 14 and we were thinking about having sex. and we really want to and he's the kind of guy i could see myself spending the rest of my life with sense we've been dating for about 9 months. But i really dont wanna take the chance of getting pregnant. What should i do? i no we would use a condom. so dont tell me that. Am i too young? i dont think i am but some ppl do. HELP!! (link)

I, Personally, think youa re too young...of course...people nowadays are having sex younger and younger....
Even with a condom, you still could get pregnant. and i don't think you would want to have a baby when your still a teen, now would you?

EVen using the pill and a condom, you still can get pregnant. NOTHING CAN 100% PROTECT YOU FROM GETTING PREGNANT EXCEPT NOT HAVING SEX...which..yeah.
Even if it is a very small chance, you are still taking a risk.
It only takes a few sperm to make a baby :/

I've tried Dove and suave from that group
i do NOT recomment suave, it made my hair REALLY RELALY FRIZZY
Dove worked wonders..my hair was less frizzy even after the first time mi used it.
Another good one is Tresseme...also keeps the frizzies away!!!

I was wondering If anyone knew any value stores that old stuff suck as hollister,aeropostale,A&F,American Eagle,Forever 21,etc. At bargin prices. Something like Plaots Closet or maybe even a thrift store.
I dont know i think paying 45 dollars for a tank top is too pricy.

Some good shops (you may already know of them)
Goodwill
Savers (i don't remember if they have clothes though)
Platos Closet (they have tons of name brand stuff, its not the cheapest but a LOT cheaper than buying it rom teh actual store)
Hospital Auxilary store (if your city ahs one) i think people donate clotehs and such and then the store gives the money to the local hospital to buy equipment)
YOur best bet would ether be Goodwill or Platos Closet probably.

im just starting to grow breasts and im starting to get pubic hair. 2 days ago i felt something wet in my underwear so i went to the bathroom and it was this white stuff. its really starting to annoy me because it wont stop leaking. its sort of stopped now but is this normal?

Yes it is totally normal! ITs called discharge, and you get it before you start getting your period, and sometimes during it also.
Just wear a pantiliner, and keeps some pads in your bookbag/purse in case you happen to start your period!

what is the best way to stop all the oil production on my face? i have acne but its not terrible but my pores are huge and my skin is constantly oily..i also have scares and would like something that would make my skin not oily and clear my scars and acne. what is the best thing to buy, or the best thing to eat or ANYTHING thatll stop it? nothing you eat will help decrease oil production,sorry to sya. but make sure you drink plenty of water, because having dry skin actually makes your skin produce more oil.
go to melaluca.com and order their acne products...the face wash, creme, and liquid.
wash your face in the morning and night, and use the liquid and creme at night.
it works soooooo well for me....the face wash keeps my skin pretty much oil-free for most of the day. keep at it though, missing a day will set you back.
as for scars...i don't know how to help you with those, sorry :(

okay, so to start off, im selfish of my friends.. i really am. i had this friend that became friends with other ppl and i dont talk to her, i dont like her anymore, not bc of that, but she is now fake bc of the other ppl. my other friend is friends with this girl i dont like and we got into a fightish kinda thing. her name is jada
well me and jada made up today, which im very happy about.. we plan to hang out with our other friend rachel this weekend. well i havent hung out with my friends in forever, bc i have a boyfriend. last time i did something with my friends is like 2 months ago, no lie.
so i plan on having a girls night at my house saturday. just us three, maybe someone else(bc i really want my friends back. i lost A LOT of them bc of ym boyfriend)

yes, your frineds don't like it when you put your boyfriend before them. make them equal :)
You should go to a movie then have a sleepover...if you can....or just go to a movie, and you shoudl go to a spa if you can afford it :)
if you can have a sleepover, play games like "would you rather", "truth or dare", and
another thing is make up really funny skits, dress up in diva clothes and lots of cool jewlery.
im 14 and my friends are older (some of them) and we still have fun doing all that!

you shouldn't stop being her friend because of one thing she does that you don't like. my friend and i had a problem like this.
just tell her next time you tell her something you think is serious something like "This isn't funny, please, this is serious to me" but be nice about it. she might just be trying to cheer you up....

russianspy isn't exactly right because it mainly depends on how well you have done on other main homework assignments and projects. it will probably go down quite a bit...i wouldn't think lower than a C, but like i said it depends on previous grades during that marking period.

kay so heres the deal ahaha:
i got my first peroid feb..16th i think
today is march 10. i should be getting it today.

i know that the first period are weird and what ev. but like will mine be normal? like not skipping and stuff like maybe i'll get it tomarrow? or like will i be getting it in a month or something..?
and like okay lets say you get your period for the first time like me. and then it skips for a long time or something.. will i still start to get boobs in that time period cuz right now im flat.. and i want something. haha. =] thanks

ya your periods will be irregular for a year or so. then they should settle into a regular monthly cycle.

Am I the only one alive who thinks it's terrible that kids (13-16) are having sex? I'm only 18, but when I was 13, I was riding my bike and doing karate, not giving blowjobs on the school bus. But thats the norm now, and if you haven't had sex by the time you're 17, you must be ugly or way religeous. What on earth!? Am I the only one disgusted by this trend? (link)

no, i think it is totally....bad and terrible that kids are having premarital sex at all! i mean come on, you want to give your future husband/wife the wonderful gift of them being your first, if thats what im tryign to say.i wnet to a Silver Ring Thing concert (which if they are having one nearby you, its not a boring lecture, it is SOOO COOL!) and they said that u can never forget about theo ther people you have had sexual relations with, that they will always have a part of your heart. thats pretty close to what they said, or at least what they meant.

So my cat won't eat her wetfood. She eats her dry food perfectly fine, and I have tried every suggestion my Vet told me, but nothing worked. Yet I heard (from a friend) that if cats don't eat their wetfood they'll die or something? I do find it somewhat ridiculous but it worries me. Is that true? If so, what can I do? If not, any suggestions to help my cat eat her food?

THERE IS NO WAY A CAT CAN DIE FROM NOT EATING WET FOOD. as long as your cat has plenty of clean, fresh water available all the time it should be fine. my friend's cat hardly ever gets wet food....only as a treat....and as far as i know its perfectly happy (and attacks everyoen but my friend's mom!) so don't worry about that!
of course...if your vet says its important that it eats wet food....ahve you tried each flavor of each brand? sometimes cats like, for example, plain tuna flavor but not tuna and salmon flavor. (yes i know weird, but it is true)
so if your cat absolutely refuses to eat anything but dry food, it still should lead a good healthy life if he/she was in good health to begin with.

i would suggest taking a babysitting course to learn CPR and babysitting techniques about many different topics including what to do in an emergency and such if you haven't already. usually a nearby red cross or your local hospital advertises them.
the next step would probably be to put an ad in the newspaper saying that you are available to babysit, how much you charge, up to how many kids you can handle, and what ages of kids you will babysit for.
parents feel more at ease if they know you are certified, so the babysitting class is a good way to possibly get more business.
tell your parents if they both work in an office in town to tell their friends that you might be able to babysit a night that they need you if you aren't already doing something. if you do a good jobwith them, they might recommend you to their friends.
