I've been dating one of my really good guy friends for a few weeks and we have a really tyte realtionship. So he told my friend that hes buying me like $20 worth of stuff for Christmas. My mom thinks we should've waited a little longer to start going out.. so she doesn't know we are. So therefore, I couldn't get him anything more than a "just friends gift". Which is some cookies and a little novelty thing (a whiteboard that hangs from your doorknob?!--mom bought it).
I feel really bad because I really really really really like him and I feel bad that he's spending so much on me and I'm being Miss Cheap-o.
Should I get him something after break (when my mom knows that were going out) as a "Make-Up Christmas"?
If yes, then what should I get him??
I'm so confused.

the best thing is tell your mom you are going out, if she finds out from a secondary source she will be hurt and if she finds out you lied to her she might be hurt even more so. if your mom is you mom she will understan, maybe be a bit upset but she will understand(i started dating a guy my mom thought i should wait on and she was a bit peeved at first but she got over it, she really likes him and we have now been dating over a year). if you decide not to tell your mom then tell your boyfriend why you couldnt get him a good gift get him one later and if he is a good boyfriend then he will understand.

its perfectly natural to feel attracted to the same sex, i am bisexual to, my boyfriend jokes about how he has to watch for both sexes comming after me now but he doesnt mind(infact i dont think many guys will, some might even find it a turn on!)so dont worry date who you want and dont be scared to admit who you are *grins* if someone tells you its horrible then dont hange with them dont go shouting to the school (made that mistake) but if you get a boyfriend then admit it to him and if you admit it to a girl and you hook up good job :) never be ashamed and who knows you might just be going through a phase so wait for a bit and see how it turns out
