Is it normal that I don't have my period and I'm almost 13 all of my friends have their period and there younger than me
(link)
You are fine, don't worry. Periods can start at any time between the ages of about 9 and 16. Some girls get thier period early and some don't get it until they are 16 or 17 years old and that's ok. The average age that girls have their peirod is 12.

Just because you haven't had your period yet, doesn't mean that there is something wrong with you - everyone is different. Some girls can also be late bloomers and have their period at a later age like at 15, 16 or 17 and that's normal aswell.

You are still normal even if you haven't had it and your friends who are younger than you have had their's. Like I said, it's different for everyone.

Your peirod will come when your body is ready, try not to worry too much hun you still have time to get your period x

hello i am 16 i had been fucked by my bf 4 times so can u just tell me now i wont have it before i get married but what changes has been taken place in my vagina? also can a gynecologist judge me after i have a check with her that i hav got fucked!!? plz answer me baceaz i want 2 visit her!???/ (link)
If you have a hymen (some women are born without one) and you haven't already torn it by exercise, horseriding, riding a bike etc then it can possibly be torn from sexual intercourse and it may bleed a little. Once your hymen is torn you can't reverse it, meaning it can't grow back.

Your vagina can also stretch a little bit but it contracts to its original size afer each sexual encounter. There is no long lasting stretching from a large penis, the only way that a woman's vagina may stretch significantly is after she has a baby. Apart from that, your vagina doesn't really change after you have had sex.

Your gynecologist will not judge you. You may feel nervous or uncomfortable when you go for your first visit but that is normal. She will ask you why you came, about your periods, medical history and if you are sexually active and you have to be honest in order for her to give the correct diagnosis. Again she will not judge you if you say that you are having sex.

When you go to see a gyneocologist it's usually confidential but you may want to ask about this before she starts any exams.

Well I'm 12 turning 13 in a few months anyway my boobs are quit big for my age its not huge its a nice size but anyway my mom had breastcancer and so did her mom or they had a lump or something well my boobs are really sore if I touch it and its very sore!! Please help! Is this cancer? (link)
It's very unlikely that it is breast cancer. Breasts can be sore when they are growing or before you have your period. You are only 12 and I suspect that they are growing. Breasts don't stop growing until your 20's.

It's very common for teen girls to have sore or sensitive breasts when they are growing so that might be why it's sore. You may want to speak to your mum or a female relative if you are worried and if you don't want to do that then speak to the school nurse. I'm sure the nurse will keep things confidential, I think it's only things like self harm and suicide that they have to report. You can ask about this at your school.

When you are older I suggest doing self breast examinations to check for lumps since it seems like breast cancer runs in your family.

I'm 13 and I have started my period but I'm the flattest person in my class!!!!.( other than the boys ) and I wouldn't be caught dead stuffing my bra!!!.......people are teasing me all my friends are B cups I'm a 32 A is there anything I can do about this!!!!? (link)
Well I'm sorry but the truth is that there is not natural way to increase breast size. You may have heard about eating certain foods, sleeping without a bra on, drinking milk etc will make your breasts grow but it's simply not true - they are all myths.

You are 13 and you breasts still have time to grow. Breasts don't stop growing until your mid 20's. There are even some girls who are just late bloomers and their breasts don't grow until a later age and that's fine.

Aprart from stuffing your bra or wearing a push up bra to make your breast look bigge, there isn't anything you can do.

Please don't worry though, you are fine. Your breasts will grow just give it time.

12, F

Hi! So today I opened my legs and then a fart just came out.. Up front! It keeps happening everytime I open my legs!! Please help, I'm scared! Is there something wrong with me?? Does it have something to do with me not starting my period yet?! (link)
It is normal to fart through your vagina - it's called queefing. A queef is the sound and action of air being emitted from your vagina. Although it's considered to be a fart from your vagina, there are no intestinal gasses being expelled so there is no odour. Queefs happen when there is air pushed into the vagina and then it is expelled. You can't predict a queef but they can happen during sex, fingering masturbation, yoga or it can just happen randomly. You should not be embarrassed about queefing - these things happen.

i rub my boobs every day like i had my piriod 3 times and im still in 34-a and i hate being teased and im in 7th grade but is it true if u keep getting a bigger size ur boobs will grow into it this are how mine growed (link)
Rubbing your breasts will not make them grow. There is nothing that will make your breasts grow bigger - the truth is no drink, food, massage, lotion or cream will make them grow. Gaining weight might possibly help or birth control but I would not recommend it just to make your breasts grow when you are still a teenager and they are still growing. Apart from that there is breast implants but you are way to young for that. I am 19 nearly 20 and I have small breasts. I don't want surgey to make them bigger because it's my choice and I am ok with having small breasts.

Your'e in 7th grade so you are what 12 or 13 years old? (I'm in the UK so I don't know much about the school system in America or other places where there are grades). I looked it up so I think it's around those ages. Anyway you are still a teenager and breasts don't stop growinng until your late teens to mid 20's. They still have time to grow and ignore the people who tease you, they are idiots. Every girl is different and some girl's breasts start growing at an early age and some when they are 14 or 15 years old. There is no way to make your breasts grow bigger naturally so maybe try a push up bra.

My friend said whitney houston died! is that another rumor (she is bad for rumors) or is she really dead? if she is, then how did she die and when? (link)
Yes it is true Whitney Houston is dead. She died on February 11th 2012. She was found dead in her guest room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, in Beverly Hills. She died at the age of 48.

Apparently the causes of death are:

~Drowning
~Coronary heart disease
~Cocaine overdose

how can i clean my vagina? (link)
I would just use plain water to clean your vagina. The vagina cleans its-self, but if you want to wash your vagina then use water. I would AVOID using perfumed soaps, or gels because it can affect the balance of bacteria and PH levels in the vagina and can cause irritation. If you really want to use soap then use a little bit of mild unscented soap but I would suggest to use just water 'down there'. I would NOT recommend douching, it can upset the balance of good and bad bacteria. I would also avoid using anything scented 'down there' like soaps, wipes, pads, tampons etc. Also, I wouldn't spray anything on your knickers to cover up vaginal odour as it can cause irritation.

Hi everyone (Also, i'm 12. You'll need to know that).

I just got home from school and I changed into some shorts.

I looked at my underwear and there was some white mushy stuff on it. It wasn't a lot, but only a little bit. Then, I looked at my...you know... And saw a little teensy bit of it. It probably got there from that mushy stuff on my underwear.

Anyways, what was that?! I really need to know.

P.S. It's not what you think it is. I've never done that before or was planning to. (link)
That white mushy stuff in your underwear is called vaginal discharge and it's completely normal - it's just your vagina cleaning it's self out. Discharge is produced naturally from the neck of the womb, known as the cervix. Discharge may be clear, stringy/stretchy, creamy white, jelly like, cloudy white, and/or yellowish when dry on clothing. You can even get brown discharge before your period starts, which is normal.

Some girls have discharge occasionally and some girls have discharge every day - every girl is different. It may also increase when you get closer to your period. So, how long after you get discharge will you get your period? Well some girls have discharge and their period comes hours, days or weeks later and some have their period months, even years later. Like I said every girl is different and discharge may continue after you have had your period and it can go on for the rest of your life.

Unfortunately you cannot get rid of discharge so if it bothers you, wear a pantyliner. If your not experiencing lots of itching, soreness /swelling, a foul smell, or change in colour to grey, green or thick, clumpy white or yellow discharge that looks like cottage cheese then you're fine x

Here are some useful links about it.

13F, Okay so ive fingured my self and my friend had said to use a cucumber so i did it felt amazing and i was wondering if the proective layer inside my vigina would e gone? (link)
What you are doing is called masturbating and there is nothing wrong with that. Masturbation is sexually stimulating yourself and it's something that is enjoyable and it relieves sexual tension and stress. It's fine to masturbate using your hands or an object.

You can't loose your virginity from a cucumber. You loose your virginity by having sexual intercourse with the insertion of the penis into the vagina. A virgin is someone who has never had sex so if you have never had sex then you are a virgin. Also if you insert a tampon that also doesn't mean that you have lost your virginity.

The protective layer you are talking about is the hymen which is a thin membrane that surrounds the opening to vagina. Hymens come in various shapes and designs and some girls are born without one. The hymen can't just disappear if you insert something into it, it most likely stretched rather than tear. It can possibly tear by doing strenuous activities like bicycle riding, horseback riding etc - this does not mean that you have lost your virginity. If you did not see any blood then you haven't torn it or anything like that - even if you did, like I have said it doesn't mean that you have lost your virginity.

I am making thirteen in three days and i havent had my first period. I am kind of scared and all my friends already started. I have all the symptoms and my mom started when she was thirteen
(link)
Don't worry, your period will come when your body is ready and you're only thirteen. Periods can start at any time between the ages of about 9 and 16. For some girls it can come early and for some it can come later like at 17 or 18 - every girl is different.

That can happen - having period symptoms and for it not to come yet, it may come soon since you have symptoms or it might not. Don't worry if it doesn't because you are still you young and you still have time to get your period.

Every girl is different so you might start a bit later than you friends have. I know it can be frustrating but you just have to wait. You won't want it anyway because you have cramps, mood swings, PMS etc and that's annoying even if you have ha your period for years but I guess you learn to live with it. As for your mum starting at thirteen, well some girls do start at the same age as their mum and some don't - it's not guaranteed.

Like I said it will come when your body is ready and don't be scared hun, because you're fine x

I am 12 and turning 13 in november and havent started my first period. My mom started when she was 13 and my older sister started when she was 12. I am worried that i havent started yet because i have all the symptoms
(link)
Don't worry, you're fine. Some girls have signs and then their period comes and some girls have signs and it doesn't come right away. Periods can start at any time between the ages of about 9 and 16. Some girls even start their period later than 16 like at 17 or 18 years old. Girls may get their period at the age when their mum got it but that's not necessarily true. You are only 12 and still young, it will come you just have to give it time and wait and see. Good luck x

I am a 14 year old girl and my cousin is 18. I live about 1 1/2 hours away from him and we don't see each other very often. We aren't that close, but close enough to have a nice conversation. Last week, me and my sister had to stay at my cousins for the week.
On the 2nd or 3rd day we were there, my cousin starting to getting closer to me, liking hugging me closely and putting his hand on my thigh. He would touch me under the sheets/blankets and sometimes even when his brother or my sister would be in the room.
Later, it got to where he was massaging my breasts over my shirt. He was very subtle about it, and I was too afraid to do anything about it. I felt weird and awkward, but I also felt pleased. But then, I feel like that is wrong and I feel guilty too.
On the 5th day, while my cousin, my sister, and I were watching a movie. He and I were under the same blanket and he started to rub my breasts and he moved my hand over to his.. area. I tried to escape from his grip but I couldn't. I didn't want to cause panic to my sister by shouting or anything. So I just let him do it. I was kind of in shock and curious. I didn't know what I was doing and at the end of the movie, he didn't say much. I was shaking that night in my sleep and scared.
Now, I'm back home, but I'm afraid about what will happen the next time I see him, which probably won't be until Christmas or Thanksgiving. Should I tell an adult? I really feel embarrassed and I don't know how I would explain this to my parents if I did tell them. (link)
What he did you was wrong, he shouldn't of touched you. An 18 year old would know exactly what he did to you. My advice would be to go straight to an adult. You have nothing to feel guilty about it's him that's in the wrong. Telling someone is the biggest step you will take and I want to say that your doing the right thing.

I can relate to the situation you're in, my uncle molested me when I was 13. My parents and my brothers went out while my uncle who was in his late twenties to early thirties was left to look after me. He put his hands down my trousers and did other stuff. I felt confused because I was an age where I was curious about sexual stuff (normal in teenagers) but I didn't like what he was doing to me and I was afraid to tell anyone.

DON'T go and talk to him and go straight to a trusted adult. Like the user below me said you don't owe him and he might threaten you, blackmail you in some way like saying you touched him or he could mess with your head.

He probably won't stop until you do something about. It's no good to bottle your emotions and put this away and store it in the back of your mind. It's not good for your mental and emotional health.

It's going to be hard for you to say something but please do he shouldn't be doing this to you and he could do it to your sister. Maybe you could ask a friend to come with you for support or ask someone at school like a teacher or school nurse on how to talk to your parents about this. Good luck, If you want to get in touch and talk feel free to e-mail me.

sex makes your boobs grow bigger (link)
Nope, sex does not make your boobs bigger.

what does it mean when your boobs hurt not my nipples just my boobs? (link)
Well if you don't mind me asking how old are you? Are you on birth control? Is there a chance that you could be pregnant? Is your period due anytime soon?

These things will help with answering your question because your breasts hurting can be related to all these things.

If you are a teenager then it's normal for your breast's to be hurting. You may experience 'growing pains' which is where your breasts hurt because they are growing. You can all so have breast pain/tender breasts before your period starts and is a symptom of PMS (which stands for Pre-Menstrual Syndrome.)

So I'm getting braces in a few weeks and I was just wondering what it's like. Does it hurt? What can I or can't eat? Just basic things because we didn't talk about any of this when I went to the orthodontics. Thanks (link)
I just got my braces done yesterday. Getting braces put in doesn't hurt. Your mouth does get really dry though becuase of the suction (tube with air) and it your mouth is open for so long. You can't lick your lips because they put a mouth retractor to hold your mouth open but you get used to eat, you have to have it in because they need your mouth open to put the braces in. They glue the brackets on individually and then but a wire on. There's pulling and tugging in your mouth but it doesn't really hurt.

The time they take to put them depends on if you are getting only top ones on or both top and bottom. In general I would say 45 minutes to an hour to get braces on. It took 2 hours for me because I was getting braces on the top and the bottom.

Once you have them on it will hurt for a couple of days so I suggest to take some paracetamol if it does hurt. It will take time to get used to them, it feels very weird having them on at first but you get used to it. You might also talk a bit weird but again you will get used to it.

What can you eat?

You can't have chewing gum, things that might get stuck like popcorn, corn on the cob. I would avoid tortilla chips, hard candy, taffy, hard nuts and caramel.

You can have fruit but if it's apple I would chop it into small pieces. You can eat anything really apart from what I listed above on what you can't eat.

Some people can chew and some can't. You have to get used to chewing because my first dinner I couldn't chew but I could just about swallow it down. I was going to be there for ever so I put all my food into a blender and mushed it all up. It did the trick, I could eat! My advice would be to stick with soft foods and soup.

Ask any questions. It's important to voice any concerns. I'm sure thy will tell you if you do ask about cleaning your teeth with the brackets and about putting on the elastic bands (if you do have them).

Good luck with your braces x

I have been having really bad cramps and getting hips so question one:am i going to get my period soon?
And last year i had blood come out of my vagina and i havent had any sense then what does that mean
Does everybody get vaginal discharge?
And last how do i tell my mom that i got my period when it comes (link)
Cramps is a sign that your period is coming and getting hips is a change that you go through during puberty. Other change that you go through during puberty are:

*Your body grows taller.
*Your body grows broader (your hips, in particular, grow wider).
*Your breasts start to grow and you may have itchy, sensitive or sore breasts.
*Your body may swear more and you may develop body odour.
*Your hair and your skin may become more greasy and spots may develop.
*Hair starts to grow under your arms, on your legs and in the pubic area between your legs.

These changes are completely normal so don't worry. Puberty is a normal and healthy part of life - and it happens to everyone!

If you have already had blood then that leads me to believe that you have already started your period. Not having any since then is completely normal. When you first start to have periods, they may not be very regular. Your body will take a while to settle down into a regular cycle - this might take 2 years or more. relax, this is normal.

Most girls and women have periods each month. The average time between the first day of one period and the first day of the next period is about 28 days. Anywhere between 21 and 35 days is normal. However as I have said above it can be irregular when you first start out and when your period becomes regular it will be around 28 days apart and it will be easy to track.

Most girls and women have discharge and it is completely normal to get vaginal discharge. Some girl and women have discharge often or occasionally and some even have discharge ever day - this is normal and every girl is different.

Vaginal discharge is normal and it's just a way of your vagina cleaning it's self. However if you have any sign of infection I would go and see a doctor. You can get vaginal infections without being sexually active and you can get them with being sexually active.

Well you can tell you mum straight up. Just say "mom I got my period can you help with supplies and stuff please". If you don't get on with your mum then you could talk to another female relative like an older sister or an auntie.

You shouldn't be embarrassed about talking to your mum because she has had periods to but if you are, maybe you can send her note. Leave it where she will find it or in a magazine she read. All you have to write is "mom I have started my period can you help me out?". Or you could e-mail her or text her. Just a few other ideas. Another way I can think of is leave a magazine open with a page open about period products. Leave it where she can see and she might get the hint.

Hope this answers your questions and good luck x

I am 13 years old. I have a friend that is 27 years old. In a month or less I will be moving to California . My friend is supposed to be moving with us. BUT a few days ago he had told me he's good at making out and I should try it with him. And I'm like huh ? And then he told me how he liked me and stuff. But my mom had just asked 3 days before, if Dustin (the friend) was weird or if he made me feel uncomfortable, etc. (basically if he was a pervert). And I'm like no , because I didn't know yet and she's like okay . Because he claims to be gay also BTW. And he has this crappy job with crappy people and lives in a small crappy hotel too. And IDK if I should tell my mom 'cause I would be the reason his life sucks and I don't think I'm in the place to take away dreams just to feel more comfortable. Help me! Should I tell or not?
(link)
I'm going to be very honest and blunt (I'm not trying to be rude to you in anyway but I'll say what I think about this situation). He's 27 an you're only 13. Think about it, why would he really be hanging around and be friends with a 13 year old girl (I assume you are a girl?). He's an adult and of course men would be interested in sex. 27 years olds hang around with men thier age not with a young girl like yourself unless he wanted something.

I know what it was like to be at that age, naive and young. I've made mistakes and one that I thankfully didn't go ahead with but had the opportunity to do so and if I did I would probably ended up being taken advantage of. Anyway I don't want you to do anything you might regret. Even he's a family friend you still need to be careful.

You are definetly NOT to blame for his crappy job with crappy people and a small crappy hotel. He's responsible for his own life and you are not responsible for his life. It's best to be safe than sorry. I would tell your mum, you are not going to take away his dreams because your not responsible for his life. You should feel comfortable and safe and not have him say things like that to you.

How would you know if anything he has said is true? News flash people lie. You said he 'claims' to be gay. If you are a girl then why would he hit on you if he is gay? Gay guys like guys only. He could be telling the truth or he could of made it up.

It's not ok for him to say that you should try making out with him when he's an adult and you are only a child. Also if he does anything with you sexually even if you give your consent he can still be arrested since that's sexually assualt on a minor and if you have sex with him he can be arrested for rape.

My advice - tell your mum. When I was a teen I never really shared much with my mum. Some things I kept secret an I understand that there are things you probably wouldn't tell your mum. However this is something that you should tell your mum about. This is something that could possibly go wrong very easily if you don't. He might not do anything but who says he wont? Tell your mum! This is not ok and you should tell your mum about it.

i am ten and i want to start my piriod because all my friends did how do i start my piriod in a day
(link)
Sorry but you can not make your first period come any faster or get your first period in a day. I know it may suck because all your friends have their period but there isn't anything you can do. Your period will come when your body is ready. Some girls start early and some start at a later age like at 16 or 17 - every girl is different.

All you can do is wait. You will get there, just be patient for now.

can fingering self delay periods. i have fingered thrice myself and my periods were due in june 28 bt still no sign of it., (link)
Masturbation including fingering does not delay periods. Pregnancy, illness, stress/emotional stress, being under weight or being overweight, changes in diet or medications and birth control can delay your period. If you are worried then go and see your doctor or gynecologist.
