I'm 14, and I have yet to wear a tampon! All of my friends do it, so I just pretend I do!.. I mean I've stuck one in there before, and it worked and it sticked, but I'm afraid like its going to go further, or I'm gunna try and pull on the stringy thing and its gunna break lose. Do you think any of those things could happen? Pllease help! (link)

Hun I dont think you have to worry about that, I was afraid at first but once you really get used to them you will see there much better than pads, pads make u feel like u have diapers on and tampons on the other hand u just feel normal.

It it normal to get vaginal discharge even before you have your period?
Like I'm gunna be 14 in a few months, and I've been having discharge, and I've NEVER had my period.
So my questions are, is it normal that I don't have my period?
and is it normal that I'm getting discharge?
What should I do, we don't have any pads around the house, and I'm not a fan of tampons, also I find it really akward to talk to my mom about that kind of thing, so I don't want to like go out and get pads or anything until I actually have my period

Yes that is normal to have discharge, dont be ashamed of having ur period its just something every girl gets. Tell your mom im sure she will get u the right things you need and if ur really worried see a doctor

don't let any guy stop you from having fun... i think you should tottaly go for this guy give him a chance if he hurts you it will hurt fro awhile and then you on.... but just cuz one guy hurt you dont let ur ex spoil ur fun

Okay, this is a weird question, I'm sure...but I figure I may as well see what y'all say.
Okay...my boyfriend kind of has a thing for "dirty talk" and I think it's totally ridiculous. I start laughing whenever he says something and expects me to respond. I think it bothers him that I keep giggling, but I can't help it! To me, it just seems so totally fake and stupid...
I mean, I've tried playing along, but I just feel so awkward and stupid, saying things like...that...

WOW ya I think it is pretty funny when guys do that to. Just tell him you don't take the dirty talk serious and it makes you laugh..... maybe that'll work if not just try not to laugh as much

The real age is 16 with your parents permission to get married, so you don't have to worry about that. Don't sweat it shes goin thru a stage and she will realize that your more important than him, talk to her if ur really worried, maybe you can tell her that there is going to be other guys out there and she is to young to decide on one guy. Tell you really care for her and don't wanna see her get hurt in anyway. Well I hope I helped

I don't know where to put this. Anyway, when I wash my hair I just use normal shampoo, whatever is in the shower. But my hair is sensitive, I have this scalp...thing and it makes my hair look really dirty really easily. If I use too much moose, gel, or spray, it looks oily and dirty and makes my scalp flake. Nasty, I know. But I was wondering if there are any shampoos or products I could use that aren't that strong, but would give my hair a really straight, sleek, shiny look without making my hair look greasy?
