I have a 9 year old daughter who is very distressed and upset and i'm hoping you can help me help her!!
I moved away from her dad in 1999 (before she was born) due to domestic violence and gained an interdict to stop him coming near us. Since we weren't safe in the area we lived in after my split with him i moved to Edinburgh in 2002 and have been safe and living life normally ever since, that is until May last year when he managed to locate us.
Within a week we had to be placed in a Womans Aid refuge for our safety and he believes we live down in London now.
Ever since though he set up websites in search of us using videos and information from my daughters health problems to try and locate us. Now the first two websites we managed to get taken down as it pertained to a minors safety but the 3rd (which my daughter stumbled on last night) has only been up for a couple of days.
I've spoken to the police who confirmed this is a source of harassment yet won't do anything about it as its online. My solicitor reakons since he doesnt know where our new address is we should simply ignore it but its easier said than done!!
He is definately abusing my daughters right to safety and privacy. He has invaded both me and my daughters privacy by making this site and has caused us great annoyance and anxiety. The very fact he used her name as his web address shows he is abusing her right to privacy. If it was more about him it should have been called JohnMackie.co.uk not http://www.Shannoncassidy.co.uk
My daughter deserves the right to live life normally and safely - she does NOT deserve her privacy violated in such a manner and certainly not be hounded by him. Please for the safety of my daughter help me get him stopped for good!!
I need help! This is affecting my daughter greatly!! She has only JUST started relaxing after the last spate of websites and now shes back to sitting in her room crying - She doesn't understand why someone would ignore her requests to take it down and leave her alone as she wants nothing to do with him at the moment.

mam i understand how you could be afraid if the reason you left him is because of his voilence but i think she should be able to know her father if she wants too. and if she doesnt then let her talk to him and tell him herself that she wants nothing to do with him.. and if your in hiding then why did you post this? he can easily pay a hacker and find out where the computer is that sent this message. and also anyone who doesnt agree with anything you just said can easily go to his site and send him everything you wrote on your message.. please be safe..

I was with my ex for 11 months and we split up in march this year. We had our ups and downs to the relationship and decided to split up as we felt it just wasn't working and the romance was gone n we would be better off just friends before it ended badly. hey,,, mmm i think that the first time he hurt you so bad that it might have irritated something down their. so thaqts probly why the second time hurt.. but i say give it about 5 days to heal over and try again and tell him to take it easy and go slow at first for about the first 4 minutes and then a little faster if u guys want and that should help.

i graduated from a school that i absolutely hated! it was a total disaster for me, and i had to go to therapy afterwards because it had a lot of bad side effects in the long run. I was treated very badly by students and faculty alike, and I just don't want to remember it or be any part of it. i suffered from an eating disorder in which I am still in therapy for, partly because i felt so out of touch with my life, and like i had no control over anything in my life. i was very close, if not, already, depressed. they told me last year, in therapy, that they were going to help me get through the year, and that when i got to college, everything was going to be so much better, and i was going to feel like a free person. so, i figured that i would feel great. i got a job, and i was going to school and everything was ok.
but, that was during the summer ( i took some classes over the summer). but, now in the fall, the work schedule and the school schedule are way too much! i don't have a day where i get a break from everything. when i'm not at school, i'm work, when i'm not at work, i'm at the gym, and that's all i do. i have not gone out since sophmore year of high school, because then i was depressed. now, i feel like i'm getting depressed again, because i don't feel any type of freedom that they were telling me about.
i can't quit my job because my mom just lost hers and all the money that i get is not for me. I haven't used ANY of my money for me. it has all been for her and for paying bills, expenses, insurances, phone bills, etc. I don't think I can do it anymore... and I don't know what to do. I'm really stressed and at this point, I'm crying. I'm tired, and I never have a break. I can't remember the last time i went shopping, or enjoyed the day and went to go do my hair and nails. now, every single day is pressed with time, and getting to places by a certain time, and if i don't go to another place at a certain time, then it's all ruined my entire schedule. i can't anymore. i'm only 18 and my hair is falling from stress.... someone please give me some advice!

hey.. well im going to be honest with you and tell you that i have no idea what your going through, sorry, but if i were you, im pretty sure i would cut some classes and take them next semester or something durring summer break.. i dont know about were you live but here we can do that... im only takeing 3 classes in college. its so much easier to handel.. i also have a job and woking 6 hours a day adn 3 classes gives me plenty off free time.. and as for the gym... i would also cut that down too 3 times a week or two. help you mom find a job.. tell her u need money for you too it cant be all her.. i know it sounds selfish now but you are a student in college, now is all about us haveing fun.. if we dont now then when? :p i hope i helped.. and remember to smile and lagh alot. its good for the soul :)
