Ok...so my boyfriend and me have talked about a promise ring. We've been together for a year and a half and we know that we truly love each other and want to spend our lives together. You shouldn't need a ring if you TRULY love each other. To get the ring is only a sign of weakness and lost faith in a strong relationship.

so I've only been in school (college) for like 3 weeks, but i've already gained like 30 pounds off of the dining hall food. I go to an arts boarding school, and so 90% of the guys here are gay. I'm not even kidding. There are a few straight ones, but they're all super hot and taken (by preppy anorexic blonde bitches). They'd never want someone like me- I'm not even thin. I've gained a lot of weight recently so my confidence is at an all-time low. I'm so shy and I can't talk to these guys because they're all preppy and rich and stuck-up. I'm not like that at all.
So I'm pretty much stuck with boys. By the way only about 1/3 of the students here are boys.

Taking a bunch of Advils is DUMB. By taking too much you're REALLY screwing some shit up. Advil is known to cause stomach bleeding, and taking alcohol will probably exacerbate that situation.
It's also well known you aren't to take alcohol while on most meds.
Avoid it.

im very deep in a pickle. ok ill try to make this short, but we know how that goes. i was with this guy for 14 months. we were very much in love we could sware up and down we were going to be together forever. i still think so. he was a great boyfriend. however, there was a lot of stuff that made the situation extremely difficult and one-sided for me. several times i considered taking a break so i could just breath and have a little fun ya know. but i never did. finally, at the start of school, i met this guy who i started to kind of like. something else was coming up that would make things between my boyfriend and i even more difficult and one sided, so i finally called a break. it was sooo painful and broke both our hearts in half, but i think it was for the best right now. this was roughly 2 weeks ago. this new guy confessed he liked me so were "talking" and flirting i guess however i want nothing more than casual dating with him [nothing serious] and i was planning on gettin back with my boyfriend in the future. the problem is, now that 'something else' happened and our situation will be much worse off than it was before, and i feel that because of that, itd be useless to get back together with him, because it was the reason i called a break in the first place. on the other hand, i cant imagine living the rest of my life without him. i know its kind of hard to understand given i dont give much info about the situation, but the whole thing was just extremely stressful for me and even my mom didnt like me to be in that situation. i have no problem casually seeing this other guy for awhile just so i can breath a little bit, but i just dont know what to do about the rest. any good, mature advice would be appreciated... 13/f 7th grade, I have no self-esteem. I'll tell you the reason why too. I moved from Indiana to Kentucky. It started out there. I was the new girl, getting to know everyone. My mom had just started dating this new guy right after her divorce. I met his daughter, Alison Jones aka the bitch. At first I thought she was a really good person, nice friendly. We started to go to the same school and I got on her softball team. Well this was about 3 years ago when it started. I thought she was my friend. But this shows that you can't trust anyone very well. She started spreading rumors. I don't know what she said, but no one would talk to me. The new girl. Its hard being the new girl because everyone is supposed to be friendly right? Nope. Half the time, if the teacher told anyone to sit by me, they wouldn't do it. And if they did, they insulted me. calling me ugly and stupid. After a while, I couldn't deal with it. I actually started to believe that I was ugly and stupid. My grades fell behind....and I didn't have any friends. EVen talking about it makes me wanna cry, which is what I'm doing. I started thinking suicidle. But I finally met one of my closest friends and she put a stop to it. But there is still damage. I have self-esteem left in my body. Not one ounce. I just moved to Oklahoma. I new start. It's great. But I still think about it and I have no self-esteem. The bright side, everyone likes me for my bright personality. Not letting my other personal stuff get in the way. I have no Idea how to get all my self-esteem back. Someone plz hep me.

I'm in Alg 2, and my teacher constantly picks on me to go to the board & do problems. I didn't learn ANY Alg 1, so this is kind of confusing. Everytime I go to the board, I go up and say 'I have no idea how to do this' and my teacher just goes, 'come to tutorials'. But then she still makes me do the problem, and I get completely embarrassed. There's 43 kids in this class, we had 7 problems to do on the board, and she made me do 4 of them. I think she knows that I don't know how to do them so she just picks on me. I don't think embarrassing me is going to help me learn. What should I do? (link)
