if anyone gets what i'm saying please give links to some cool photos of victorian goth styles and things for a bedroom and all that jazz! any pics of any kind would be greatly appreciated!!

(link)
For clothing you could check out:
http://infectiousthreads.com/

Some of the clothing wouldn't be what you would classify as "victorian goth" but some could be what you're looking for.
And the store is great, if you buy from there (which I've done) it's really easy.
The shipping is SUPER fast.
I got my jacket I ordered there the next day.
And it was just standard shipping.
So I definitely recommend that store, cool clothes, and great shipping.

Is it true that at one time a baby was picked up by a tornado and then placed back down safely a few miles down the road? (link)
I researched this and I got this:

Hope this is what you were looking for. =)

I loveeeeee adam lambert's voice and I wanted to find more songs by him but I can't find any. does anyone know where I can? I mean, I know (I think) that he hasn't recorded any yet but he should have some somewhere, right? (link)
Well, if you go to adamofficial.com (his official website) on the forum there are new videos posted daily.
By "new" I mean, old videos of Adam singing etc.

And on youtube, there are TONS of his old songs.
If you look up Adam Lambert - Kiss and Tell, or Pop Goes the Camera, or Glamorize those are a couple.

Also on youtube look up Citizen Vein. His old band, there will be songs by them on there and a couple live performances.

You can also look up "Adam Lambert Upright Cabaret" and it'll be live videos (quite a few) of Adam singing at Upright Cabaret. Wonderful videos, btw. Some of my favorites. Just a piano and him showing off his amazing voice.
And of course, there are videos of him performing at The Zodiac Show.

Here are links to some videos of him singing;
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OdSkC1jjumA
Cover of "I Just Love You"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8pLJcJgma0
"The Circle"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPEub8mnAJo
"Quiet Desperation"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8u8UGYysvTI
"Turning On"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8bK9UlzuhQo
"Glamorize"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AjmdQXitDTA
"Crawl Thru Fire" performed at The Zodiac Show

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kq7OVHBc8ZA
"Come Home" performed at The Upright Cabaret

These are only some of the videos out there, there are loads other at youtube.
By going to these videos, there are tons of other songs originally by him, and covers he's done, him performing live, videos of him from high school, etc. under "related videos"
Or you could just look up what I recommended before.

And yes, ALL these videos are of Adam Lambert from American Idol.
I'm 1000000000000% sure.

ok so just last night i dyed my hair like a dark brown color its almost black cause of how dark it is. well i wanted to go swimming today and the pool is clorigne. what will happen if i go swimming after dying my hair last night. will it turn green or something. if it helps anything the dye is from the dollar store. cause it actually really does work on my hair. and stays there longer then other ones ive had. well my question is if i go swimming in clorigne water will it turn my hair green or anything. please help me asap! i need to know before i get everyone to go to the pool thankyou in advance (link)
You should wait about 4 days to go swimming, but if you really need to now I agree with just wearing a swim cap.

But after waiting the amount of time you should wait, my hair stylist told me to just put conditioner in your hair before swimming.
It worked for me when I did it.
But your hair will fade a bit, but you can't really stop that.
You can just help so it won't fade as much.

i know this is proban absurd request/question BUT

if you go to a concert how do you meet the artist playing? if there are so VIP BACKSTAGES passes ....

does anyone know any tricks or anything as to how to meet the performeres? (link)
You always could get VIP Backstage Passes, like the person below mentioned about the Warped Tour and things like that, it'd be a lot more expensive.
Bigger bands just on a headlining tour, I'm not so sure how to get the passes.
Someone once said to call the band's manager and you can obtain passes that way, but I've never done that.
Certain bands, though, will sell special "packages" that also give you a backstage pass, but are obviously more expensive.
But I've only seen some bands do that.
And even getting the pass doesn't necessarily mean you get to meet the band.
After a show, the band doesn't ALWAYS hang around backstage.
I've known people who were really excited, they got backstage passes, and finally went backstage.
They stayed for a while, but the band never showed up backstage.
Sometimes, if you go and wait out by the tour bus (this can take a while, though) the band will come out and sign autographs, etc.
A lot of people do that for bigger named bands.

If you're seeing a band playing at a small little club, from what I know from the bands I see live, most of them will hang out at the merch booth.
Some even just hung out in the audience before their set watching the other bands play.
At this one club I see tons of smaller bands at, it doesn't even have a "backstage," it has..an outside area.
And people go out there freely, and the band is just hanging out talking to people.
So those are just a few way to get to meet the performer.

I'm getting a birthday present for my friend. She loves the books twilight ; can you recommend any others similiar , or especially stories revolved around vampires ; thanks! (link)
If she liked Twilight, she might like "Real Vampires Have Curves".

I'm 19/f

Looking for any sad/depressing books to read. Something that made you cry. Any suggestions?
Or maybe any movies? But I would prefer books.

Thankyou in advance (link)
I'm not really sure about any books, but I just finished reading "13 Reasons Why" and while it didn't make me cry, it was sad.
And 1984, like the person below said.

But a movie that had me bawling at the end, along with everyone else watching it (which was like 3 other people) was Philadelphia.
Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington were in it, and it was such a sad movie.

what is like an amazingly good hair straightner thats also reasonably priced?

what is a really good eyeliner pencil that stays on and doesnt smear?

whats like a really original store that isnt too expensive?

im looking to update my look... (link)
Straightener: Sorry, I can't really answer that question. :P
A lot of people really say Chi is a good brand, but it's kind of pricey.

Eyeliner: Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Pencil. You can get EVERY color of the rainbow. All types of blues, purples, etc. and of course they have blacks and browns.
A VERY good eyeliner. It's $16.00 but it's worth it.
I've used all the drugstore brands but by the end of the school day it's completely smeared/disappeared. But with this, it stays prefect.
I definitely recommend it.

Original stores?
Pretty much none.
You should go to ALL different types for shirts, pants, jackets, shoes, etc.
Like the person below me answered.
I, personally, shop online.
I find better deals almost 95% of the time (even with shipping, sometimes it's free shipping too), and there's a lot more to choose from.
So you could always do a google search of the types of clothes you're looking for and tons of things will come up.

I have really uneven skin tone so foundation is a must. and if I don't set it with powder, it'll wear off in like, an hour. I can't use just mineral powder alone because it too doesn't last. I try oil blotting pads and everything.

but that is besides that point. I'm in school under freaking FLUORESCENTS.

and knowingly, my make up looks caked on and awful.

help=[ (link)
You should probably buy a foundation primer.
I've heard good things about Smashbox primer.
http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P9889

It is expensive, but I've heard really good things about it.
But you could always buy a cheaper one.
But what this'll do is help prevent it from looking cakey/oily throughout the day.

i have moderate acne...its pretty much just around my mouth area and like 2 on my forehead...ive been on these pills subscirbed by my dermotologist and she gave me this wash and lotion and ive been using that for like a month and the only thing the wash does it dry out my skin and make me get more pimples...i have clean and clear morning burst (orange with microbeads) and i hear that clean&clear works for alot of people and also that stuff that dries out your skin just gives you more pimples...should i try clean and clear? or something softer for my skin? (link)
Acne products work differently for EVERYONE.
So just because C&C works for someone, doesn't mean it will work for you.
Same with everything else.

BUT, I had the same problem as you.
My dermatologist prescribed me on pills, cleanser, and an acne gel.
All it did was make my skin dry and flaky.
So I went back, and he prescribed me on another acne treatment.
My mom's friend's daughter used it, and she loved it so I thought, "Why not try it?"
And I did.
And it worked.
And there was absolutely NO peeling with it.
You should probably ask your dermatologist about it, it's called Duac.
You keep it in the fridge, and it's a cleanser and a gel and you put it on every night before bed.
In the morning, I also used Differin.
The combination worked really well, with no peeling whatsoever.
So maybe go and ask your dermatologist about that.

Okay so I used to have a few pimples here or there, no big deal. now my skin is cleared up and a new problem hits.

I'm getting these awful patches of dry skin around my nose and on my forehead.

I tried exfoliating (made it worse)

I tried every moisturizer possible.

I tried bio oil. I tried vaseline.

I mean this fucking sucks. like. my skin tone is uneven and foundation is necessary.

Foundation on peeling skin is like. the worst possible thing.

I looked like I had a flesh eating virus today. Help:( (link)
I've had the same exact thing happen to me!

For peeling, I usually just put neosporin over it and it would do the trick within two days.

About the uneven skin, I don't have any fast method, but I use "Aveeno Positively Radiant" moisturizer and it's for helping to even out your skin tone and it works for me.

where can i buy Costco Kirkland Signature by Borghese Professional Cosmetics Brush Set.?

my friend bought it at costco i went to the website it aintt there!

also, where can i get a good brush set? for cheap like under 30 dollars (link)
I really like Sonia Kashuk brushes for a cheaper brand.

To get something like this, http://www.target.com/Sonia-Kashuk-Travel-Brush-6-pc/dp/B00149XKOE/qid=1231222943/ref=br_1_4/179-1462596-7223407?ie=UTF8&node=726920011&frombrowse=1&pricerange=&index=tgt-mf-mv&field-browse=726920011&rank=pmrank&rh=&page=1
is just $20.00
You can just go to Target, Walgreens, etc. to find Sonia Kashuk brushes.

If you want to spend a little more money check out Sephora, it's an actual makeup store so you'll find higher-quality brushes, but they're more expensive.

Does anyone know where i can get leather boots (black* or brown) with a heel thats about 3 inches but that ISN"T like a stiletto heel...but no like super fat either. And that go to like a little bit below the knee?

A lot of the boots i have found are like cheap looking, or they look plastic. I am looking for boots that cost under $200-ish.

Thanks so much!! (link)
http://www.endless.com/Womens-Shoes/b/242169011/ref=home_sd_wm#Search_Top

Just click "boots" and then give it the details you want.
Like what size shoe, what size heel, what color, if you want an ankle or knee high, etc.

You can find all types of prices for boots, and all types of boots.
I love shopping on endless.com, it has free overnight shipping and free shipping back if you need to return anything.

Hey ; i wanted to know if theres any good make that would cover belemishes , scabs , & redness on skin ? Also is there any good eyeliners that rub off easy and dont smeer ? And is there any in a good price range ? Hope you can help me . -torii babiiee* (link)
I use DHC's foundation in yellow ocher 01 (the lightest color which is still kind of dark), and that specific one is actually meant to cover up redness and it does.
And then I put over that a setting powder, and it works pretty decently for covering up blemishes, etc.
But I think you can only order it online or from their catalog.
If you'd rather just go to Target or somewhere else, I use L'Oreal true match "super-blendable makeup", and a setting powder after that.
It comes in a good range of colors so you should be able to find something that will match your skin color.
You could also use DermaBlend, which would probably be the best.
People cover up the worst blemishes with it, they cover up tattoos, birthmarks, etc. and it looks like there's nothing there.
But it's quite expensive ($31.00), but if you ever get any money and want to spend some on it then you should try it out.
I've only heard good things about it.

For eyeliner I definitely recommend Urban Decay Glide-On 24/7 Eye Pencil.
It is more expensive than the drug-store brands but it is worth it.
It's $16 but I, personally, am willing to pay for it.
It goes on very easily, and it lasts all day.
I put it on during my morning makeup routine, and then at 7 PM I went to a "metal" (Amon Amarth, etc.) concert and I came back hours later and it still looked perfect.
I loooove this eyeliner.
You can get it at Sephora, or online.

So I dyed my hair earlier. (natural hair color is light brown) I went from being blonde and i got brown dye so i started dying my hair and my ends which were lighter than my roots turned a horrible blackish/blueishh/purple!!! ahhh so my hair is half brown half that gross color!!! any advise! please help!
(link)
You have a few options.
You can go to a professional hair stylist, that you know is good and have them fix your hair.
Problem though: It can be extremely expensive.

If you are willing to wait a little while, you can fade it.
To help you do so, use DANDRUFF SHAMPOO. Those things fade hair easily.
And then you can dye it over with a brown color.

Or, if you are willing to damage it a bit more but don't really care, you can bleach it and just dye it over.
But I'd recommend going to the hair stylist instead of bleaching the hair yourself.

Is there any way to get free / cheap stuff like posters / shirts/ signed things / etc from bands? I was thinking maybe to contact them on myspace but they'll probably just think it's little kids saying how much they love them. (link)
It depends on the band and how big they are.
A lot of bands that are pretty mainstream don't even handle their myspace.
Most just have fansites do it, and they don't really read the messages.
On the other hand, a lot of smaller bands DO handle their myspace and do read messages/comments and most reply.

If it's a smaller band, you could just put in the subject line something like "Question about Merchandise" or something so they realize it's not just another "OMG I LUV U, UR SO HOT!!!1!" kind of message.

About signed merchandise, some smaller bands that play at clubs will sometimes come out and hang out with the fans and sign merchandise.
I know Jerry Only from The Misfits even does that. xD

But if they're a mainstream band there really isn't anything you can do except just buy regular merchandise from their website or something.

Okay, I just recently got into punk/rock/screamo bands, and I wanted to know what some bands like that are...and if there anygood. (link)
Screamo:
Alesana
Atreyu (maybe?)
Hawthorne Heights
Underoath
The Used
Etc.

For more MTV type rock/alternative:
Say Anything
Cute is What We Aim For
30 Seconds to Mars
Escape The Fate
Taking Back Sunday
Panic At The Disco
My Chemical Romance
Thursday
From First To Last
Fall Out Boy
Metro Station
Etc.

PUNK bands (Some bands are horrorpunk, but still good ;D)
((I'ma start off with the classics))
The Clash
The Ramones
Sex Pistols
The Damned
The Misfits((horrorpunk))
Black Flag
Circle Jerks
Minor Threat
Leftover Crack
New York Dolls
Trashlight Vision
Teen Idles
Dead Kennedys
Bad Brains
The Screamers
Wednesday 13 ((More horror punk than anything, but I just thought I might mention him.))
Frankenstein Drag Queens((horror punk))
Koffin Kats ((horror punk))
Blitzkid((horror punk))
Among many others.

As you can see, the last few bands I mentioned were horror punk.
The main difference with horror punk between other types of punk are that horror punk lyrics usually tell a "tale" having to do with horror (zombies, vampires, b-movies, monsters, Halloween, etc.), most usually have a campy, morbid sense of humor.
I personally love horror punk, most bands I listen to fall under the category of horror punk or psychobilly.

((I recommend the punk bands over the screamo and "rock" bands I mentioned.))

does anybody know of a really really good cream eyeliner that dosent smudge and stays on all day, and has a really dark black color?

(link)
Like everyone else has said you could use MAC Fluidline, but it takes some practice to get the hang out using it.

I absolutely LOVE Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Pencil in zero.

It's creamy, it's a true black, it's easy to apply, and it LASTS. When you first put it on, some people like to smudge it so you have about 30 seconds to just do whatever you want and smudge it.

But after that, it stays on all day, doesn't smudge at all, and looks perfect.

I put some of it on in the day, and had it on all throughout the day and then during the night I went to an Amon Amarth concert and was there for about 5 hours and my eyeliner didn't smudge a bit.

I came back home and it still looked great.

So I definitely recommend Urban Decay's 24/7 Glide-On Pencil.

Oh, and it's water proof. =D

Ok, for Halloween, i want to go as a Bimbo or a hooker or something like that. So i want to dye my hair blond for it.

My hair is Black... so what would i have to do to get it blond... and how many times??

also... do you think my hair might fall out?
like if i bleach it?

It'll only be for 1 night, but i don't want to get a wig.

thanks. (link)
It's just for one night, though.
Why go through all that trouble of damaging your hair for just ONE night?
You have black hair, and you will have to bleach it more than once to get your hair blond.
But that is EXTREMELY damaging.
Your hair won't just fall out, but it'll break.
Which isn't any better.
I'd say your best bet is to just buy a wig, in the long run you'll be happy you did.
Besides, you only want it for one night.
And as others have said, a hooker doesn't need blond hair.
You can have black hair for this costume.

But if you feel you MUST bleach your hair, just go to a professional. AT LEAST. It'll still be very damaging, but it'll be better than doing it yourself.
And a toner also might help you with bleaching....

But like I said before, I'd just go with the wig.
You'll be thankful for that wig in the long run.
