Books on Vampires

I'm getting a birthday present for my friend. She loves the books twilight ; can you recommend any others similiar , or especially stories revolved around vampires ; thanks!

I haven't read twilight so im not sure if these are similar but anne rice wrote books about vampires. Interview with the vampire, the vampire lestat and queen of the damned are just a few. I think she wrote about 7 though. Interview with the vampire is the first so probably best to read them in order.
