I'm 15 years old and i've had my period for a little bit over a year now. I have always used pads, but i'd really like to start using tampons. But there's only one problem, im so scared of them. I've tried using the before, but im just scared to leave something up there...please help me. Are there small tiny tampons for teens to use? im sooo freaked out.

they make teen size i think playtex or kotex they say junior on the front dont be scared they are so much better than pads and easier to handle....goood luck!!!

i am in the same boat...talk to them calmly about how you dont feel you have enough freedom tell them that you can be trusted and that you wont screw up ...it took me forever for my parents to let me get dropped off at the movies i didnt get to go till 7th grade my sis went in 6th go figure being the oldest can def. suck but it has its advantages

Q: I like this guy at school, Pieter (yes, that is how it is spelled) and we are friends. We have the same sense of humor and he is so cool. He is going out with another one of my friends, Andrea, but they are too shy to ever talk to eachother or go on an actual date. Anyway, I recently learned that on a day when I was absent, Pieter said some really bad things about me behind my back and he said the only reason he hangs out with me (he only has 1 class with me) is because none of his friends are in it. When I confronted him about it, he denied it (of course), but I heard from many sources that he really did backstab me. I don't know what I should do because I really like him and want to be his friend still (and maybe more...)!

Q: So a bunch of my friends and I have decided that we don't want to go on our schools' senior trip after graduation. They're going "hiking though the mountains in Europe" (rolls eyes). And as fun as that sounds (I'm so not being sarcastic...), we want to be on our own and not with school chaperones. They duct tape our doors shut at night and we don't have co-ed hotel rooms. So, it's not going to be all that fun. I've been on school trips like that before and I don't care for them.
Now we need to come up with a place to go ourselves. We don't want to go to Europe because; well we've all been there and would rather go somewhere else. We also don't want to go to any sort of beaches. We can kick it at any beach we want during breaks and stuff. So does anyone have any suggestions? We need something exciting and somewhat "educational" (say the parents). Money isn't an issue as long as we can have fun.

Q: I recently babysat for one of my husband's coworkers for a few days. After seeing a few warning signs, I'm beginning to think that the children are not being taken care of and that she may be abusing them.
This woman brings the children out in freezing weather with no jackets. She drops them off with no supplies. The children don't appear to have been bathed. They have severe, untreated diaper rash which leads me to think they're not being changed like they should. I've also noticed bruises on one of the children. It could be from bumping something, but from the look of the bruises I suspect the child was hit. When I feed them, they act like they haven't been fed in a while.
I've tried talking to her, but she told me it was none of my business. I'm worried what might happen if I don't do something. Should I call social services and report my suspicions?
