I'm a 17 year old female and I need some advice about getting my nails done for prom. I've never had them done before, so I don't even know what to expect. What I want is a french manicure on the arcryllic nails. Is this what I ask for when I go to the salon? And how long do my real nails have to be in order to have the fake ones put on?

when i got arcyllic nails it was painted white already. And when they put it on, the paint doesnt come off at all. its basically plastic so you cant bite them at all. and your nails dont have to be a certain length to get them. Have fun at prom!!!=]]

0K so i hav long, below da shoulder, straight hair. I tried scrunching it. Yes i showered, towel dried, applied gel, flip my head over, and scrunch from the bottom to the top. I put gel and hair spray once in a while and i scrunch and srunch and scrunch .. eventually my hair dried. Any advice? (link)

when i scrunch my hair i use Paul Mitchell's moose. it really helps you can get the prduct at supercuts.

well as i always say, just be her friend. i dont know how old you are, but the better the friendship, the closer you are, and the closer you are, the better chance you have with her. Im sure your a great guy and you guys have to get to know each other before anything else.

im 13/f and in jan. i fell on my knee really hard/weird while ice skating. i think i might have pulled something in my knee but it hasnt hurt in awhile. but other the weekend i started playing volleyball and i kept falling trying to hit the ball and my knee has started hurting again. i hurt the inside of my knee ice skating but the outside of my knee hurts now. did i pull something again when i kept falling while i was playing? is there something that i can do to stop the pain? thanks!! well since u did something to it in jan it is common to hurt it again and again. just take aleve or advil for the pain. its not gonna be all better though. just be careful and while your playing volleyball, wear a knee brace.

I think I'm going gothic and I'm terrified of what's becoming of me. I dress like it now and I listen to the music. I LOVE the music and I HATE the rap. The only thing is I'm scared. just because your going "goth" doesnt mean you do all the stuff. gothics dont really do anything harmful. emo is the one that physically hurts yourself with cutting and sucide and stuff like that. just be yourself. dont think of what others say about you.

ok im 13/f and one of my friends have been "messing around" lately but i wont have sex with him without a condom. the problem is my mother stil thinks im a virgin. i dont know how to get birth control or condoms without my mom finding out. in the area i live in there is only 2 small gas stations around which both carry condoms but i have a feeling my mom would find out about me buying them, i wouldnt be so worried about her finding out if the guy was 16. i have had sex with him before and ended up missing my period for 2 months! are there any ideas on how to get protection?

wow your 13? im 13. if your really ready to have sex then have him buy the condoms or most health teachers have them at an easy access. make sure you think about what your doing before you do it. remember be safe!

Hi my dog Jefferson, Great Pyrenees 10 years old died on May 5th. He had a tumor in his foot and on may 4th he didnt move and wouldnt eat. So I got really scared and thought about what could happen. Then the next morning he was outside with his tongue out of his mouth with a pool of saliva. His blinking reflexing weren't working anymore and he was breathing very shallow. Well when I got home he had died. And it was very sad for me and I cried a lot for the first 2 days. Now I just only cry when I see his hair somewhere. I really miss him and I've had him for 9 1/2 years. I dont know what to do right now because I miss him soo much and I need advice to make me feel better. (link)

This happened to me to. I understand how u feel. Everyone gave me the same advice get a new pet move on it was a silly pet. But it doesnt work that way. My best friend has been dead for exactly 5 months and i still cry everyday just try not to think about it thats what works for me. I loved my pet too!!

You can have 2 best friends i know i do. Well Just talk to your best friend and tell her that youll always be friends with her (if its true.) But it would be awesome if all 3 of you could be best friends.If she is still mad at you because your friends with another person then shes not worth it. Hope i helped
