im 13/f and in jan. i fell on my knee really hard/weird while ice skating. i think i might have pulled something in my knee but it hasnt hurt in awhile. but other the weekend i started playing volleyball and i kept falling trying to hit the ball and my knee has started hurting again. i hurt the inside of my knee ice skating but the outside of my knee hurts now. did i pull something again when i kept falling while i was playing? is there something that i can do to stop the pain? thanks!!

Our knees are complicated joints so without the proper exam by the Dr. there is no way anyone on here can diagnose you. Since you are only 13 I am not going to recommend any over the counter medications, that should be prescribed by your Dr too. For now, Rest, Ice, Elevation and Compression (like an ace bandage) and that will help with some of the pain. [ Nallie's advice column | Ask Nallie A Question ]

I also think you should tell your mom and get it checked out because if it is screwed up then you dont want to hurt it again!
