I just got a new computer and was able to successfully transfer my entire itunes account from my old computer to this one but I just bought a couple songs from itunes on my OLD computer... is there an easy way to get these songs to be on my NEW computer? I know I could transfer them via cd but it seems to me that there should be a way to update my account in order to acquire those songs on any computer that is authorized with my music.

iTunes only lets you download a purchase once. It really pisses me off. One of my customers had me reinstall their computer and I went through this.
I ended up pirating all the lost music that was originally purchased.

Okay, well here's my story. Freshmen year I met this guy and we became friends. It wasn't a close relationship, but we were still friends. And I guess you can say that I developed a crush on him. By second semester we stopped talking completely. (He started making bad decisions.) Well, I'm in my senior year now. And I always see him walking down the halls and we some how always make eye contact. An example, my third period is next to his. I get out of class and he'd be walking towards me. I'd look away, but from the corner of my eye I can see that he looks at me. Does he miss me? If so, how can I show him that I miss him to without actually talking? (I don't want to be the first one to talk because of something that happen freshmen year.)

Obviously he feels the same way. This may have to do with whatever happened freshman year also.
I know for sure guys are way more sensitive about emotional issues than women are. In fact that is why lots of guys are dicks. If they start to feel emotional they will lash out from fear of showing emotion and making a fool of themselves.
If you expect to ever have any kind of relationship with this guy again. You have no choice but to bite the bullet and confront him. I realize that can sometimes be difficult to do, but it is the only sure-fire way of dealing with this issue.

My brother sent me some songs that he had on a CD, and I added them to iTunes, updated my iPod and then closed iTunes.
Today when I open up iTunes are gone.
So I add the songs again.. later on I close iTunes.
I just opened it again, and the songs ARE GONE!
I tried adding other songs and the same thing happens.
How can I fix this? I'm getting really pissed off :( (link)

Have you just been playing the songs off of the cd using itunes? I have a suspicion that that is the case.
My suggestion (which may be what you have already been doing) is to insert the cd, then in itunes goto advanced and import cd.
This is probably what you did , but besides the previous advice you were already given about copying to a folder first , is the only thing I can think of right now .

I need help! Okay, everytime I turn on my computer it tells me that it has been infected. And it tells me use special antispyware tools to prevent data laws. And it gives me a website where I can get it. But it's 80 dls! What can I do other than download what they're asking me to download? How can I fix this? I am really broke right now..so can I do it for free?

sounds to me like you got the antivirus 2009 virus. DON'T buy the one they show you. It's a scam the whole thing was . It was originally apop up that looked like a windows system notification right?
I know for sure Kapersky anti virus will remove it.

I have used it, and it's safe. Although I much preferred IMTOO psp converter. I think ppl do like the videora search feature though.

does anyone know how to get rid of pop-ups, like actually permanently? I don't even know how I got them, but EVERY SINGLE time i change the page on the internet a million new things pop up. and also when i am on google this side column thing called 'shopper reports' pop ups and i always exit out but it never leaves. and when i click on internet explorer a message pops up saying internet explorer cannot work and i have to click okay, then it happens 3 times and then it FINALLY lets me on my homepage(google) and then another message pops up'internet explorer cannot dispaly this webpage' then i have to exit out AGAIN and try AGAIN and sometimes it finally works. but other times it takes me to 'internet explorer cannot display this webapge' even if i have perfect internet connection and i typed in the right address. so then i ahve to click back and sometimes it works. but for example, now it won't let me get on facebook at all. this is ruining my computer! can someone please tell me easy directions of what to do to make all of these things go away/stop happening? thanks! Ok here's how we fix that. I am going to assume you are using IE.....well don't. IE isn't technically a web browser. It doesn't meet the world wide web consortium's parameters for a webbrowser. It should be emphasized MICROSOFT INTERNET explorer.
1) download and install firefox
2) google firefox addons and navigate there.
3) search for "adblock plus" and install it.
4) Once it's open it'll give you a list of subscriptions, the top one "easylist" check the box and click subscribe.
5) after that whenever there is something you want to block , click the adblock icon and it'll open a list of blockable items. Sometimes it's tough to determine which item is the one to block , but I don't get ANY pop up OR ads , not even google adsense stuff.

You know what you could do? Install a virtual xp. I don't know what linux distro you have , but innotek virtual box or vmware works great.
Then you could have your linux computer and xp . Virtual machines rock too. Good luck

If it's just for a simple website for you 2, you can use google pages. If you have a gmail you don't even have to sign up . Simply go to pages.google.com
It's actually quite nice. They give you like 30 themes and a bunch of layouts. You can make a nice looking site with lots of pages.

I do not know why, but suddenly everything on the computer screen went upside down. we turned our monitor on its top so we can read the screen. Does anyone know why this happened or how we can fix it? thanks (link)

you can try ctr+alt+direction arrow also. On some cards it works.

ok here i go well i am using application its called freegate and i use it at school to do things on the internet and well ok i believe the program encrypts every site but not sure but any way if my school does a land line scan on all the sites i have been to will those sites show up while i was using the application hope you can help (link)

Every bit of your traffic has to go out of their gateway though, so I am sure that if they look in the firewall logs they can see every ip you connected to.
At the very least they will be able to see how much traffic your ip used and what protocols you used.

okay so i forgot my linksys router password and i need to log into it. ive tried putting in admin as the password and the username and both at the same time. i think i need to reset it, but i have 3 computers, and i need to make sure before i reset it that it will all be back to normal again! so if i reset it, what am i going to need to do to get things back to normal? My linksys w54rt has no username by default just admin for the password.

I'm considering a PSP gaming system for Christmas, since I travel a lot and need entertainment(The DS isn't for me :P)
I was wondering though,
Can you use the PSP to go to internet sites. For example advicenators or google or whatever? (Obviously if WiFi is available)

You sure can. The psp is actually a great tool.
I configured our sonicwall at work with my psp, and I also can use logmein with it. I think that that is so cool. I actually liked it so much that I never hacked it for homebrew.

i used to use limewire as my source for free reliable music downloads; however it proved unreliable cause i got a virus from it.
does a similar free reliable music download source exist, or should i just suck it up and use iTunes?

You have to look for the good indexes. Look through them. There are tons of youtube videos on the subject. Do a search for google hacks. As for viruses...virii?, make sure if you aren't looking for an exe you don't download one. I use linux , so viruses aren't an issue.
