Every bit of your traffic has to go out of their gateway though, so I am sure that if they look in the firewall logs they can see every ip you connected to.
At the very least they will be able to see how much traffic your ip used and what protocols you used. ]
Hello there,
From the Freegate FAQ:
[Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
"Is it safe to use Freegate to surf the Internet, and will the surveillance systems be able to detect me?
Yes, it is safe to use Freegate to surf the Internet. All Internet communications are encrypted. Local surveillance systems cannot detect what you are doing."
... If that is 100% accurate, I couldn't say, but I can think of one thing which hasn't been addressed: The use of key-loggers. No matter how cool Freegate might be, if your school has a key-logger on every machine, then they could see what you typed in to get where you were going.
Other than that, freegate looks fairly good in light of the purpose for which it was intended.
Any further questions will probably be better asked on the Freegate help and support forums.
Look for the "Forum" link at the top of the FAQ page I linked you to. I would put the link in here, but it appears to change regularly and might have changed by the time you got this. ]
