I'm 13/f in the 8th grade.
Why do boys always beat each other up? Every morning, there's always at least two boys beating each other up in the hallway or by the lockers. For example, this morning this guy stole another guy's backpack and tied a piece of twine to it, letting it swing over the balcony. The kid who owned the backpack got really angry, and the one who stole the backpack jumped on top of him and tried to throttle him. Why does this happen? Is it hormones, or are the boys in our school just really violent? (link)

Most guys are really immature and like show off for the girls. They like to show that they are tough and strong! lol i think its funny, so i'd say just sit bak and watch them act like idiots!

i'm 13 years old and i'm only 4'11. i only have like 2 years left to grow (yes i've had my period already) and i really want to be at least 5'1 or something. if i have to spend the rest of my life being under 5 feet, i'll hate it a lot. i know to some people it may not seem like such a big deal but it kind of is to me. my parents are normal height so i don't know whats wrong?? so how can i get taller? like what should i eat? vitamins? thanks (link)

Well in 6th grade i was the shortest person in the class....now in 8th grade, im just normal hight, not short, not tall. There is nothing you can really do to make yourself taller....it happens naturally. Just remember stay healthy and soon enough you will get your growsburt!

I'd say right after u get home from school. This way you can get it over with and then you have the rest of the night to enjoy! Just remember homeworks a pain, but everyone has to do it!

It is normal to miss somebody when they move far away so i bet he will understand. Just tell him that you guys should see eachother freekquently when you get the chance.

i know this is something really weird but if i drink like a mini bottle of water (8.5 FL OZ) I dont feel good after and I have a really bad stomach ache for about an hour. Why does this happen and what can I do to prevent it? (link)

It may be that u drink the water to fast, if so try slowing down a bit maybe take a drink and then like a minute later take another few sips.
Or.....
It may be that u are drinking to much water. Yeah i know that sounds crazy but its possible to drink to much water!

Okay I really need help with this. In 7th grade, I always felt so alive. Then when I was in 8th grade, I still did but my energy/ fun and being active,hyper,outgoing started to decrease but it was still there. Now I'm in 9th and I just don't feel like I used too. I want to go back to my old self but everytime I try I just feel out of place. I want to feel more confident like I used too. I just don't know what to do and it is hard to explain. But I want to know if anyone has been in this situation and how they changed or if anyone has any advice? Thanks! (link)

in 6th grade i was really outgoing and everyone loved to be around me and life was great!
now in 8th grade im more quiet, i still have tons of friends but i dont feel as liked as i used to and i always feel depressed.
whats wrong? im not really sure, but my guess is as we mature and get older life gets tougher and we get depressed! Hope i helped!! X to the O

there were these kids today that were in my 4 th period class who were lookin at the picture of me and my boyfriend. to be honest he isnt the hottest thing out there but i really dont care i love my boyfriend to death. but they started diss him and sayin all this shit about him. they were sitting right behind me doin this and thought i was stupid and didnt noe what they were talkin about. can i turn that in for sexual harrassment? everything they said affended me and i got really sad and when i get sad i get quiet and that is what happened. i wanted to get up and hit ever single one of them and then show them what is so funny, but instead i thought it through and decided that they werent worth it so i ignored them and NOTHIN changed. they kept going and goin all period. (which was 30 mintuess left) here are my question:
1) could i turn them in for harrassment?
2) tomorrow if they start it again should i stand up and give them a piece of my mind?
3) do u think i should tell my boyfriend about this? (he doesnt go to my school)

Well i dont think they could get in trouble for sexual harassment unless they were like touching you in an inappropriate way or saying they were going to. Sadly many people get made fun of each day but there isnt much of a punishment for it. If you think it is safe to stand up to them then i think u should tell them you dont like what there saying and to keep it to themselves. You could tell your boyfriend if it is bothering you unless you think he might get really hurt by this. Sorry this is happening! Hope i helped!

My friend asked the guy I like what he thought about me.
He didn't really know her, he recognized her as my friend but didn't even know her name. But she was trying to talk to him and he just told her he needed his space and pushed her back saying "back up, we need to be this apart" and telling her not to get close, and she asked what he thought about me he didn't answer and just went with that "your getting to close" crap. So could someone tell me what this means???

I myself have never had braces but my sister and brother have and they said they dont hurt to bad except when u get them tightened!
And for the colors...if yur preppy (like me lol) i would go with maybe pink n' blue or blue n' orane or green n' pink are all really cute!!!
My suggestions are not to get white or black
white makes yur teeth look yellow and black just wouldnt be good!!

Well i would have said go for a ferret but those stink like really bad....gerbils and hamsters are cool to play with and they dont stink that bad just you cant really take them on walks.
