I'm not going to prom b/c i have an AP physics final test two days later and i don't want to get distracted. But, my friends are mad at me b/c they are seniors and its our last year to go to a dance as a big group-their being mean "subtley"-like they'll slip in some mean things-wat do i do? and how do i not feel so miserable?

PROM? omigawd!! personally i think you should go! I mean, you only have prom once in a lifetime! If you are really into getting a good grade on the test, then make sure you buckle down and get down to work when prom is over!! You want to get a good grade...but you are missing out on alot of fun!!!

p.s. whatever you want to do is fine. Its your life and your desicions!

what is the difference between tights and panty hose? I need ot get black tights but i don't knwo what the difference is.

Panty hose are suppose to make it seem like it is your normal legs, so most of them are browm or peach in color. They are really good when you have to wear a dress or something and you have hair on your legs or if they just look really gross even though you shaved! Tights are more for dancing and they are usually white or black. People know you have them on, they are just easier to move and glide with. :-)

ok so im homeschooled... and next year i'll be going into 9th grade. I'm still deciding if i should keep homeschooling or go back to public. All my fiends want me to go back. I want to too but then i have two places i wanna be at.. I love being homeschooled and all but i feel like im missing the socializing... so im not sure which i should go to...
what do you think?

Ok, this is really hard! Your friends want one thing and you want another! I think you should choose whatever you want to do, let alone the opinions of everyone else. If you choose to go to public school, then both problems will be solved--the fact that you want to socialize and what your friends want you to do. And if you are worried about the teachers and missing your parents teaching you then dont worry! Your friends can help you with the teachers and you will see your parents at home. If you choose staying at homeschooling, you can always join soccer or other sports teams so you can meet people. Also, if there are dances at the public school you can always check to see if non-schoolers are allowed to go. that way you can socialize with people and have fun!
