Q: So I have this friend Mike. His best friend is Nick & I talk to him all the time (he likes me). Anyway, Mike has an ex gf named Cece. Nick saw Mike & Cece together at a party & told me they were together. So later my friends & I asked him if he had a gf & he said no. I saw Cece at one of Mike's shows and everyone, including Mike, knows I like him. I don't know what to believe! soo today we asked him again & he said he goes on "dates" but doesnt have a a steady/exclusive gf...so he's some kind of multidater? I really don't know what to do or say to him & I see him all day tomorrow. Please help me!

Well I think you should ask Nick about it. He is Mikes best friend after all. Ask him whats going on with Mike and Cece. Also talk to Mike. Maybe ask Mike how he feels about you. Thats the most important part. Find out how far he would go with you (friends, friends with benefits, dating among other girls hes dating, gf, ect)

Q: okay i have very curly hair and i dont know what to do about it straightening it takes forever and doesnt come out really good. my hair is very frezzy its about shoulder lenth what can i put it my hair that doesnt make it frezzy and doesnt look greasy but not dry either.i rate high

I suggest Pantene Curl Hydration Shampoo and Conditioner. It worked for me. You might want to just try and put frizz serum in it. Thats your best bet. I liked Redken Glass. Matrix is a good brand for frizz contol shampoos and serums. And a tip to straigten you hair, is do it after your shower. Put serum in it. Blow dry your hari with a round brush. Make sure your hair is dry before you straigten it. Put serum in it again. straigten it in small sections, going slowly. It may take a while, but its worth it. Believe me.

Q: 16/f. Well my boyfriend and I have gone out for about 7 months, and we were good friends before that, and we have a wonderful relationship. We started fooling around about a month ago, but we're not going to have sex, at least not for a long time because we're not ready. I discussed this with him and (separately) with my mom, because I told her I'd always tell her if I was becoming more intimate in a relationship, and she was fine with it. Well, the other night my boyfriend dropped me off at my house and we were both extremely tired and we fell asleep on my bed, we didn't do anything at all. And my parents came home and flipped out, called his parents, now he's not allowed to see me for a very long time, etc...
And my mom says she doesn't trust me and she thinks we've been having sex. She fully knows my views on this and both my boyfriend and I are very ambitious academically and would not do anything that might jeopardize our education or futures. But there is mutual trust and understanding in this relationship, and I thought there was between my mom and I, and I'm very confused. Does anyone have any advice?
Sorry this is so long. Thanks.

Okay. Talk to your parents. Both of them. Tell them calmly that you did not have sex, you just accidently fell asleep. And I would add that its your choice to have sex or not, even though that might make the situation worse. Tell them its the truth and thats that.

Q: I have a question about my friend. Well I guess you could say she is one of my best friends.
Well we had made plans tonight to rent and movie and then watch it at her appartment. She told me to arrive by 8 o clock. Well she phoned me at 5 and I wasnt dressed or anything yet. She asked me if I could do her a favour. I said "sure" before I knew what I was in for. Well it turned out she had put an add in the paper to sell two of her cats (she has 5). She told me that the girl buying the cats needed a ride home and could I do it because she (my friend) doesnt have a car. I was a little annoyed because I wasnt ready and she needed me there right away. Well being the loyal friend I was I showed up and one of the cats had escaped from its carrier, and then my friend made me chase around the house for the cat instead of her doing it! We finally caught her and then I had to load up my car with both the cats and their toys. Now heres the kicker: After I loaded up my car with all the cats and toys, I said to my friend "your'e coming with me right"? After all I didnt want to drive a complete stranger somewhere in my car all by myself, I would want my friend to come with me. Also, we still needed to rent the movie. Then she says "no, I'm not coming! So I had to drive this person to her house (who was extremely rude to me by the way). Then I had to rent the movie by myself!! When I finally got back to my friends by around 6 and all she could talk about was how sad she was that she had to give up her cats!!! She finally noticed that I looked upset and asked me what was wrong. I told her the girl I had to drive home was rude (but didnt mention I was more angry at her).
My question is, I am overeacting, or was that a really shitty thing that my "friend" did to me?

That is pretty rude of your friend. I don't think you are overreacting at all, if I were you I would of yelled at her. Anyway... you should talk to her about what she did, that was not right.

Well, I know this is hard but tell your dad about how you feel. That all I can really say because that is a really tough situation. I have to say that your dad's relationship might be more important because he is older, and he doesnt have as much time as you do to look for love. So thats really all I can say. I'm sorry I didnt help.

Q: My birthday is coming up, and I'm having a little "get together" with my bestfriends (about 7 people total). I need ideas of what we can do that isn't really loud (my mom will be home). Games, stuff to talk about, anything at all to keep us from getting bored. I want to have a good time! ..Any ideas?

Always play music. Not loudly, but just as a background. So if there are any silences, it wont be silent. Food, pizza and chips, pretzels, veggie tray, m&ms, skittles. Games..Okay, first of all. Your a girl right? Or are you a guy? Well are both guys and girls coming? Because then you can play some fun game like spin the bottle. Twister is a fun game. Just talking is a fun game. Just have fun.

Okay, I have the same problems, except I'm a girl. Anywho.. Are you two in the same classes? Talk about a teacher or assignment. Is it raining/snowing/an incredibly nice day? Talk about how you like or dont like that weather. Maybe bring up the music your listening to, ask her what kind of music she likes. Any good movies coming out? Talk about the ones you wanna see. There is a lot of common things you can talk about. Its difficult to think of them on the spot, but maybe in a boring class, come up with some.

Yeah. That seems like more than enough. First of all, your liking him and being his girlfriend should be enough :) cheesy i know. And second of all, thats a lot anyways.

Q: this is kinda hard to explain but hopefully someone will get me.
Ok... you know how if you go on a site and login wit your username sometimes once you type in the first letter of your username it will come up with a drop down list of your username? Well, is there anyway to like erase that? My whole family is gettin sick of it because if you make a typo it still saves it and it sucks to have to look for your correct name mixed in with a couple typos.
So if i wasnt too confusing and someone actually understands, is there anything i can do? thank ya

No, not at all! If you and him aren't ready to have sex, then just don't do it. But if you want to.. then talk to him about it. But don't feel like you have to have sex, you dont.

Q: I'm planning on buying movies next weekend because I have none! I love scary movies and chick flicks and comedy's. What do you recommand.
p.s. no rated R's
Well I can't watch rated R's either, so it will be easy for me. A GREAT chick flick is A Walk to Remember. Its the one with Mandy Moore. It is soooo sweet and sad. A comedy... Happy Gilmore is really really really funny. Adam Sandler is like a god, so anything with him is good. Without a Paddle is another good hilarious one. Scary movies are hard without getting into R rated ones. Well, I have a hard time recommending scary movies because I don't get scared. But the Grudge and the Ring are pretty good.

Nope. Don't worry about it. For a year or two, your periods are irregular. Trust me, I went for about 3 months after my first period until my second. So don't worry about it.

Well.. are you really interested into a guy who rubs his.... okay thats up to you. Anywho, he is definetly flirting with you. If I was you, I would see how he treats other girls. If he does those things with a whole bunch of girls, he's just a flirt and probably not interested in you seriously. But if your the only one.. he probably likes you and you should go for it. Talk to him, tell him how you like him, and ask him out.

Okay. Simple: Maybe you could turn your living room into a romantic getaway. Haha. Light the fire place, make hot chocolate, give her roses (or her favorite flower) Maybe make smores. Bundle up under a soft blanket
If thats not your or her thing, and you want to go more fancy... Take her out to dinner at her favorite resteraunt. (No McDonalds!)

Look at your surroundings. Note any funny things other kids may be doing. Note any cool looking, or trashy posters or anything. Are you in the same class? talk about the teachers or homework. Ask him if he has any plans for the weekend, or the holidays. Good luck!

Q: ok, i'm friends with this guy who has a g/f. But, he gives me signals that he likes me...For Example..I've been at my friends house while he's been there twice. Each time, we've layed either in the road or on the trampoline looking at stars. He asked me at school when we were gonna look at 'em again. I said "who knows?" and he told me that he looked at 'em over the weekend and he thought about me! He always hugs me and smiles at me when he sees me in the hall at school. Today, I saw him and he walked right by me, but i looked at him and he held out his hand and held it for a min. I'm confused...he has a g/f but he gives me hints! what's going on?

All I can tell you.. is ask him if he likes you. Just dont do it when the gf is around. And do you like him? Because if so.. talk to him about it.

Q: i feel sooo bad! my friend thinks shes soo amazing, and so talented, and she sings all the time. when she sings everyone either laughs or tells her to shut up. its.... really... really.. bad. i dont know what to tell her. i dont want to hurt her, but shes just embarassing herself! our school musical auditions just happened, and she was shooked when she didnt get called back from the lead. what can i do do help her :/ im 15/f is that helps at all. thank you!

I have been in a similar predictament. Dont tell her she sucks, thats just plain mean. Just comfort her and tell her it doesnt matter, she'll live, there are better things in life, ect. And next time she trys out for something or sings in public, try to steer her away. If you hear something about solo tryouts before she does, immediately ask her to do something together that day, that time. So then she will be busy and wont be able to go. And if she sings in public, just say "hey, wanna get a drink" or something, and stop her.

Q: I am so ashamed of my Dad! He is SOO Gross Acting! I want to have a friend over (Amber) for a mini sleepover but I am imbarrassed of him! He makes these Hawking Noises! (lol) and it is SOOO Gross! I Don't Know What She Would Think! He Is Fat and Ugly and I don't even like to be around him! So What Do I Do About This HUGE Problem!!?

Well.. thats a little harsh. But.. I know what its like to have embarressing parents. You cant change them. They refuse to change. But you can maybe ask your dad (politely) to stay out of you and your friends way. Maybe talk to him about his "hawking noises" and ask him to not do that when you have company over.

Q: Theres a man who is married that me and my best friend are friends with and I feel he has been acting inappropriatley with us. He winks at me when his wife isnt looking and I've caught him staring at my chest. This one time he invited me and my other friend over when his wife was at work and he started offering us both wine. Then he said 'lets play strip poker". We both looked shocked at him and he started laughing and said he was joking but the fact that he said it made me a little uncomfortable. I also found out that he confides in my other friend about his marriage and all his problems with his wife. According to my friend he tells her that his wife is stupid and that he hates her kids.
Does anyone else think this is strange behavior for a married man?
That is pretty strange. I suggest you stop hanging out with him. If he invites you over, just say "no, i already have plans. sorry" because if he acts like that he may get you into something you wouldnt want to be in. He could offer that wine again you could get drunk, and he could take advantage of you. So I suggest just cut off contact with him. Or.. talk to a parent.
