recently i just ended the three year relationship with my boyfriend all for good cause (basically, he's been treating me like pure shit lately. this includes verbal abuse, possessiveness, and odd male mood swings that he takes out on me). as you can imagine, i've grown some emotional attachment to him during those three years...and i want to know if there are some ways that i can move on?
like a co-worker asked me today if i had a significant other, and since i chose to end the relationship, the answer should be no, right? well, for some reason i still said that i did, when i know for a fact that it's over between us. it's like everything i look at or do reminds me of him, and it's bugging me because i don't want to go back. i never want to go back...yet i can't grasp the ability to just forget about it all and move on, ya know?
i want to hope that things will be alright, but i've done that all too much these past few years all ending in disappointment. i just want to feel happily single again, without a care in the world, without this horrible feeling on my shoulders...i just don't know how.

I congratulate you for ending such an abusive relationship. Its great that you got out of such an abusive relationship as abuse escalates.
What you said to a co worker is a reflex from three years of saying that you did. To get over it, I highly recommend you contact a local battered womens shelter to get some advice and counseling for coping with the aftermath of his verbal/emotional abuse.
Pack anything that reminds you of him. Examine why you put up with the abuse for three years so that way your next relationship will be healthier and better. Also tape to your bathroom mirror a pice of paper saying that you weren't the problem with the relationship; HE WAS. Focus on your good qualities.

Tell your mom exactly what happened and that there was definitely no sex involved. Hopefully your mom will believe you, especially if you say that you think you're not ready to have sex. That way your mom can tell his mom that.

ok this might be kinda confusing and long..I understand the consequences and worries that come around when you have sex& all that. I love my boyfriend with all that I have, and he loves me. We both gave up our virginity to each other, but the thing is, we weren't safe about it, and we both regret that. We both know that we should've used a condom, but I guess we were too caught up in the moment to realize that not using a condom wasn't very smart. okay so here's the question. I was wondering- the first time we had sex, he pulled out right before he ejaculated, and it got all over the place, but I wasn't sure if it had gotten inside of me or not. after that I told him I wanted to make sure I got my period. I took a pregnancy test because he said it would make him feel more comfortable, even though it was too early to be accurate anyways, and like I figured..it came out negative because it was too early. but then a few days later we had sex again but he didn't cum. so if I get my period, that takes care of both times we had sex, right? I know you can't get pregnant if you get your period, but I wasn't sure if I could get my period for the 1st time we had sex, and still get pregnant because of the 2nd time or not. I'm planning on taking the 2nd pregnancy test today or tomorrow since that would make it 4-5 days before my period is supposed to come. please help! thanks in advance!

You can still be pregnant and get your period. Its even common to spot around the time you get your period for a few months even if you are pregnant. Take another pregnancy test. Next time, use a condom if you are going to have sex or use abstinence:-) guys do expel sperm in with the "precum" before he has an orgasm.

Don't worry, it is normal. Your body is going through a maturation process so you're physically more adult. It will die down soon enough. Just make sure to keep a jacket/books nearby just in case you get a surprise around people:-)

They might do it because it turns them on, the guys want it, or they think a guy would love them if they do it. It depends on the girl really. If you don't feel comfortable doing it, then don't do it. You don't have to do it because others are doing it or because he wants you to.

yes you can. You can't tell if the egg has left your body during your period until your period has ceased for the cycle. An egg is the size of one cell which is really tiny. it depends on the phone company. Some companies charge for a sum of messages a month(ie Verizon has 250 messages for 5 bucks/month). Others charge 10 cents roughly for incoming/outgoing texts. Call your phone company and ask.
